Ok, let me start off by saying that TPA is a great field especially of you are a woodsball or senerio player. Their wood field is set up perfectly with cover everywhere. The airball fields are both very nice (except they dont change up the setting a whole lot, but still they are set up beautifully so it dosent matter to much) and the hyperball field is nice as well. I will contine to go here for a few more months, and the only reason i would ever stop going here is because there tends to be a lack of people who show up for open play. I have been here 5 times and the first time there were only 4 of us, the second there were 6 the third there were 12 which was a nice turnout, the fourth there were only 6 again and the last there were 8 (which is ok). It is a nice field with great prices, and very friendly workers and the only down fall would be the lack of attendance. Again by no means am i saying not to go to this field because it is one of the best arround, i am just saying call ahead to find out an attendance for that day. |

I was at TPA yesterday which was a Sunday and only 2 other kids showed up to play against me and my buddy but we were still aloud to play. We got to play n e field we wanted and n e game we wanted. Every staff member there was very nice and would talk paintball with u n e time. For $30 and 5 to 6 hours its the best place i have ever been to in Oh. I plan on going back on a Sat. so there will be more people to play with.I highly recommend TPA because of the best prices and best fields in Ohio.
P.S. bring ur own food and drinks |

I visited my friend in Ohio (Im in Texas), We went to P&R Paintball, Which was a nice field, but only 1 speedball, and it was a little small; and Intense Paintball, an indoor place, which was different, but it was too dark, and i didnt like the fields as well. We went here the Saturday the weekend before I was scheduled to fly back, and I have to give them that they are the best field in the area hands down, I liked them better than any field I have ever played at (in Ohio, California, Georgia, or Texas). It is an extremely great field and I reccomend it over any other. |

TPA Paintball is absolutley the best field in Ohio hands down. There is only one thing that oculd make TPA any better...and that would be an indoor for winter, but i wouldnt count that out just yet, there are rumors flying around of an indoor. The owner Mike is a baller, so he knows exactly what you want in a field, a tournament, and a store. anything you need talk to him. if you even think about jumping into the tournament scene go to TPA, if you are going out for your first time, go to TPA. Soon to be 2 Xball fields, Five man fields, hyper ball, spools, attack and defend. you can see your favorite teams come out on any given sunday, Detroit Fusion, Philly Americans, Punishers PB..just to name a few. if you are coming out for rec ball, there is no end to what he will do for you to have a good time. any kind of game you want to play, sometimes they drop the innner nets and combine all the fields on the site and have a HUGE game with lots of bunkers and lots of action. TPA is affordable, fun and has a great staff. check them out for sure.| Last edited on Monday, May 16th, 2005 at 11:02 am PST |

There isn't much to say about tpa except for the fact that it is probably hands down, the best field in Ohio for a tournament balller. WIth 2 x-balls fields, 2 5-man air-ball fields, a hyper-ball field, and if there are some rec ballers that want to come out, they have a sweet Attack and Defend field. Great Prices, Great Staff, Great Tourneys,....you name it. |

This is a one of a kind field it is worth evey penny spent there. Even though it is a hour and a half drive its worth it. It cost me 30 dollars to play. 10 dollar entry fee, 10 all day compressed air and best of all you can bring your own paintballs. Many fields dont allow that. When I was there we had to stop around 3 because it was going to storm out so My 4 friends and I stayed and help take down the fields. After we were done he gave us free pizza. By the way it never did ran but is still was worth it. AND MIKE IS REALLY AWSOME| Last edited on Thursday, May 12th, 2005 at 5:15 pm PST |

Field-
They have several fields which are utilized by both Rec ballers and Tournament players
Several Rec fields
Several speedball fields...including an X-ball field!
Safety- They are big on Safety with making sure all guns are chrono'd in and they have refs for all the fields that are being played...
They have a great friendly staff that is always willing to help out when needed
Great competition on team practice days...The only time I've been there cause its kind of a haul for me
Pricing- Not really sure but you could check their website or give a call
Great fields and great staff would recommend to any player at any skill level |

This field is the best field in Ohio by far hands down. The staff is great they are very help full. If you get a chance to go out to a field make it TPA cause they have so many sweet fields and don't use crappy kickin they use draxxus and they have good prices. If i could rank this field a 10 just because this is the best in Ohio.| Last edited on Wednesday, March 30th, 2005 at 6:21 pm PST |

I showed up on an open day late last fall (after taking over a year off paintball), and by chance there was a large private group with several people I knew, and they let me join them.
The Fields:
The fields were excellent. In fact, they were almost perfect. I literally can not say enough great things about the fields there. The only thing I'd like to see is more defined deadboxes near the far fields, but that's a minor complaint. All of the fields are within a very short walk from the building. (you can visit their website for more information on the kinds of fields).
The Facilities:
Typical paintball facilities. A reasonably maintained trailer serves as a (very) small shop and cash register. I wouldn't plan on purchases a new set of gear at the field, but there is probably enough parts for sale for small gun repairs. (Their shop, which is in another town, is *excellent* though). There's quite a few picnic tables (covered) just outside. Right next to the tables is a netted airball field. Which is nice to watch while taking a break. There are several port-a-poties, and the whole area was fairly clean. Registration is fast, and paint is very cheap. But *bring your own drinks*! I believe Gatoraide was $2 for a 20oz, and it wasn't cold.
The Location:
Its in the middle of no where. But even with getting lost, and driving past the road, it wasn't too hard to find (I had never been to the area before). The second time out will certainly be easier. It would be nice to see a map from the major highways on their site.
The Staff:
The staff was...typical paintball staff. I'm 22 and I would guess only one of the staff was older than myself. None of them knew how to get back to the highway when I asked (and there's only one highway anywhere near the place, as far a I know). One of the refs didn't know how to use the refill station when I asked him (the place I used to play kept theirs behind the counter, so I'd never filled a tank before). Around "lunch time" the refs lost focus, and several players had to take the initiative to get things moving again. But all of the refs were *excellent* out of the field. They were very friendly and patient (important, since some of the people playing had never played before). They were efficient during registration, handing out rentals (and showing the new players how to use them), and at the chrony. They paid attention during the games, they didn't stand around chatting with each other, and did a nice job of keeping new players' goggles on (the safety speech was also very solid). They were also polite and carried on small talk with the players.
Summary:
Overall, I have not heard of or seen a better paintball field even remotely nearby. The prices are great, the fields are great. I wish it was closer to my house, and I wish *any* paintball field could make enough money to hire and train better staff (but TPA's was still the best I've seen). With a few minor tweaks, it would be perfect, and is absolutely worth a long drive to get to. I plan to play there several times a month once the weather breaks. |

TPA is by far the best field in Ohio. They have the best prices and they also have great helpful employees. The prices on paintballs and air are great. They have great, well kept fields which can be rearanged weekly for a new experience for every visit. The fields they have include: two 5 man air-ball fields, two Xball fields, one 10 man hypertube field, and a military style attack and defend field. I was there for opening day last summer and many other times as well. I am looking forward to going again this summer. |
