Review: I went with a few friends. It was $30 entry because i brought my own paint but if you buy it from there its only $25. I bought a co2 card for $3 more for all day air. The fields were muddy because itrained the night before so i excepted them to be muddy. They had a little shop on site that had the basics. During a game of speed ball my hopper snapped as i slide into a bunker so i went to the shop to see if they had the shell i needed because its a electric hopper from empire and i didn't have an extra hopper with me and the did but it was the newer version so i had to cut a little piece off and it worked fine.it was cheap for the both sides too. pretty much after it snapped i had just the inside and the screws so i was glad the had what i needed. It was a fun day i would go back but not after it rained. they do have a nitrogen fill station. even though i didn't buy paint there i asked how much it was. they have 2 different kinds one kind was 48 for the case and he other was 55 for the case.

Review: basically in a nutshell this field is terrible...
here are a few reasons:

1) you have 1 ref who doesnt come onto the field. he sits on the side either talking on his cell phone or playing games on it they dont pay attention dont dont do paint checks.

2) they dont go over any field rules...basically the field is no hold bars.

3) fields are about a 25 wide by 50 long fields that are so lopsided they are no even fun to play.

4) distance for me was not worth the $30 enterence fee wish i would have saved my money by the 2nd game i was disappointed in the field.

5) they dont fill 4500 hpa tanks only 3000 and even then its do it your self. Some little kid whose mom bought him a ego alot with porbally all his paint and his fake jerseys to make him look sponsered blew the o-ring on the fill stations. Refs didnt fix it the customers did

6) the field maintaince is horrible the fields were dirty and not taken care of.

I could go on but i dont want to wasted your time basically this field is horrrible and i would never go back!

Review: Bad fields, they are set up with no equality, one side of the field always has tactical advantage. It can be overcome though if your team plays well, but there is no paridy between starting sides.

The Refs are bad, they stand on the side of the field and are more concerned about talking on the phone then doing paint checks. One ref the kinda big kid with a head band was on the ball as far as checking guns, but none of the refs wanted to hustle out and do paint checks. One ref took his gun out on the speed ball field and played till he ran out of ammo in his hopper (he said he only had 6 balls in it, but he played for 2 or 3 minutes) so rather than do his job he choose to put his customers in harms way by not doing his job just to he could play for a few. They rape you on the pizza "deal" we asked then where they order from because we wanted to do the 5/5/5 deal from Dominos so the kid tells us they order from Pizza Hut. So we spent $14 for an extra large pizza and it ends up comeing from dominos anyway so the ref just out right lied to us and the field stole the extra money from us.

You have to fill you own air which isn't a problem for me but these kids are walking around the things trying to us it and end up blowing the hose off, and are luck they aren't getting hurt. Oh yeah you can only fill to 3000 psi.

All and all it was a bad experience and i will never return here again. I give it a 2 becuase there still can always be awrose field out there somewhere

Review: I was real excited to go here, but when i got there i needed a nitro tank for my gun, cause my mom hid mine somewhere... And all they have are 12 Ounce co2 tanks... so i asked the guy there if i could use his nitro and he let me use it for 25 dollars.

the safety is a definite problem, all the guys did was yell and not even enforce anything, they didnt ref, which i thought was good...

The fields there are amazing, just dont go there if it rained that week, and they dont clean down the bunkers on their speedball field.

Entry was 20 paint was 48, and could bring your own.

The pro shop thats about 500 yards away from here is amazing, great clothing, guns, and equipment.

Id rate it a 6/10

Review: I personally like it. Its good for playing around with friends or play a serious game.

Lego- I this my favorite Field. Its a mix between woodsball and speedball. The game lasts a good amount of time and its fun. The only bad thing is it gets VERY muddy and slippery after rain.

Spools- Its an alright Field. When you are behind a spool your feet usually get shot.

Castle(woods)- This Field is sorta unfair. One team gets a big wood fort in the woods and another team gets a few pieces of wood on some trees.

I never played the rest as i don't like them

Review: No refs, no organization. I felt bad for all the newbys, they had no idea what to do and to tell you the truth at first neither did i. Fields weren't exactly tuned or upkept. I find that alot of fields just don't put any money into their fields or even bother growing with th sport. Too bad, maybe someone will come along and create a new friendly field.

Review: All though there are some pretty bad reviews of this field, i recently played there and I think it is exelent. It is very cheap to play there, byop on the weekends, and lots of field variety. There are no refs, but I personaly think this is a plus. This means you don't have to wait for one, you can organizre your own teams, set any rules you want to. Basically, it gives you alot of freedom. The pro shop has very little in it aside from paint and rental stuff, but the ppl running it are nice and i struck up a conversation with them while waiting for my pizza. On that note, there is a pizza place that delivers right to the pro shop and there is a menu right there. Over all, a really good experiance and i'll definetly go back.

Ejam indoor- indoor x-ball, great
Liberty- outdoor speed and woods, great
High velocity outdoor- mil-sim based (great for that)
Cousins indoor- expensive as ****
Directions
to the Field:
Route 9 south (from where I am)
Exit on texas road, make a right off the exit.
Turn left on englishtown road.... About 1/2 mile down on the right...
Review: Safety- very bad, no enforcement of chronos, no enforcement of barrel plugs/bags, no enforcement of masks...(other than players telling each other) a ton of live firing in safety areas... 0/10
Fields- 7 or so fields.... That blend into each other.... The fields are very open and hard to move, even against bad players... Which can be a good thing....6/10
Hours- 9am-5pm saturday and sunday.... 7/10
Prices- entry-25, paint-48 for whitebox(worrpaint) 55 for xball
Rules- hahaha.... No refs to be seen.... I was there from 11-5 and I did NOT see 1 ref on the fields... 0/10
Services- hahahaha, its basically outlaw ball with fields.... 0/10
Proshop- non existant... A few masks, a few tanks, a few spyder/tippmann upgrades..... 2/10(just because I have spyders and tippmanns)
Staff- hahahaha.... 2 guys in the "proshop" one told the other to use a paper clip as solder.... ????? Wtf??? I wouldn't trust my gravity hopper with them, let alone a regular marker....0/10
Refs- for the 6 hours I was there.... Non existant.... 0/10
Players- a mix of it all, a lot of new players that have NO clue, and a handful of arrogant players that have NO reason to be arrogant.
Food- non on site, 0/10
Facilities- like I said, outlaw ball with fields.... 2/10

If you don't mind organizing your OWN games and playing with the honor system.... By all means, check out FBM.... But, if you want refs to make sure everything is legit... Go somewhere else...

*side note* I got told by 2 kids with ions, they loved my hot spyder.... I than proceeded to play a game of x-ball with them.... Rather than get bunker'd, they called themselves out.... Enough said....

*update*
I went on 12/30 and it was advertised on the website of "buy a case ($55) and entry is free"... Their whitebox paint is $48 and their x-ball bronze is $55....

So me and my g/f decide to go play, $110 and we get to play right? WRONG.....
They decided to UP THE PRICES OF THEIR PAINT... $70/case for xball bronze.. Free air... Its supposed to be $3 for all day CO2, they decided to charge me per tank...

Their hours were listed as 9am-5pm... We played a game at 3pm and the ref told us that they were closing and we can't play anymore.... Wtf? Horribly ran place... They need to get their act together....

I'm officially changing my rating from a 3 to a 1....

Rexplex - indoor but now closed down

to the Field:
between Paintball Authority and Englishtown Auction/Flea Market
Review: Only played once, but will go back again.

Pros:
- Cheap ($25-30 entry)
- BYOP or Cheap Field Paint ($40-55)
- 7 Fields
- Self-fill HPA

Cons:
- Minimal refs (only 2 on a Saturday and 1 was running the shop)
- One chrono check when I first stepped onto a field, never checked again
- No range
- No ref = no safety enforcement for barrel plugs and goggles
- Only the airball field was reffed consistently
- No organization (pretty much setup your own games with your group or try to join others which can be hard if your experienced and there's only newbie groups)
- No repair techs; If you can't fix it yourself, you're probably out for the day (or drive about a mile down the road to Paintball Authority's shop)
- No on-hand food or beverages (machines usually broken)

Fields:
1 - Airball (good sized with car washes, doritos, cans, and a snake)
2 - Speedball/Car Wash (this field is directly across from airball; it's called a car wash since there are plastic strips hanging in the center area; similar layout to the airball field but with permanent bunkers of plastic pallets, spools and wooden pallets; good for a team of back and front players; an organized team will dominate here easier than on the airball field)
3 - Wooded Speedball (this field is closest to the parking lot; good mix of speedball type setup with mostly trees, logs, and spools; the best field if you're not an airball player; much larger field than other speedball-type fields; large mountain-like bunker in the center favoring fast runners and agressive players off the start, but can lead to point blank shots right through the bunker if both teams go for it)
4 - Pallets (open area field of plastic pallets and pipes; snake on one side; large field that can handle a 10-on-10 or even more; good for longballers and lots of bunkers to sprint to for the agressive runners; great intro to speedball for newbies)
5 - School Bus (definitely a cool setup; Defenders in the bus, Attackers start over a ridge; tough for the attackers, especially if defenders are allowed past the bus; not too much cover for attackers; narrow field, so no sneaking up on anyone here)
6 - Heavy Woods (behind the Pallets field; very dense, not many bunkers but u don't need them; very wide; you will see your opponents at all times, you just can get paint on them through all of the brush and trees; a good paint wasting field; a bit annoying, but less intimidating for newbies)
7 - Fortress (farthest field behind Heavy Woods field; newest field with a similar setup to School Bus but on a large field; Wooden fortress is very wide and can accomodate over 10 defenders; a lot of brush to help the attackers since there's a lot of open ground directly in front of the fortress; weakest point for the fortress is the right flank; can be interesting if the fortress is made out-of-bounds; some elevated "sniper" perches outside of the fortress; can be a good field for unique game rules/borders; far walk for paint/air)

My 2-cents:
Safety is a big problem here. There usually isn't anyone around, especially for the newbies, to help teach barrel and mask safety. Many players (experienced and newbie) get lax and take their masks off on field right after the game ends and just before the starting countdown. Don't expect a ref. He is usually sitting in the junk tent just outside of the staging area or reffing the airball field from the bleachers. The refs are friendly, there just isn't enough of them. It's cheap, so you get what you pay for.

If you can handle that, everything else is as good as you make it. Be friendly. Walk up to people and ask to join them to play (unless you bring your own group). There will always be a mix of newbies and experienced players, so go easy on the new players. Don't expect any sort of organization to get games going. It's pretty much a do-it-yourself kind of paintball field. Bring food and drink (or call for pizza delivery). Parking lot is only about 100 yards from the large staging area, so leave your valuables and paint in the car trunk. (Some other postings mentioned theft from items left in the staging area.) The self-fill air station is in the parking lot anyway. Oh yeah, lot is huge. Always parking available. Paint is cheap but not the best quality. (what do u expect for $40-45/case???)

No night play or weekday play. Go to Paintball Authority for that. Play is from 9-5, but the afternoon thins out as people run out of paint. Rentals are Tippmann semi's with CO2. I think u can pay to upgrade to compressed air tanks, but not sure.

Review: fireball mountain is a pretty decent field if you just want to get out and play rec paintball for the day.

pros- cheap (sometimes you can get way by just walking on the field if you have n2).
good varity of fields to chose from.
the players their always want to plays so no waiting for players.
cool n2 fill station easy to use. just put the hose on and push the button.
most of the people are friendly.
BYOP is allways allowed.

cons- muddy as hell even after it rain for a few days.
no refs .
the speedball fields needs some work.
the bus in the bus field can be very slippery. watch out.
things get stolen and the next time you go you see the kids who work trying to sell it.

overall this is a good field if you nedd to practice or just have so fun for cheap.
