Fireball Mountain Paintball Games (Old Bridge) Paintball Field
Paintball Depot - expensive but a great field
Ruckus Paintball - slightly larger than FBM, much better
Top Gun - large, well run, everything FBM isn't
ABC Paintball - decent, better than FBM
Fireball Mountain (North Hanover) - much better, you'd never know they're related
On Target Paintball - great in every way, 180 degrees from FBM(OB)
NJ Paintball Club - a lot bigger, much safer, not much more fun
Review:
Well, I've only played here once, so maybe I got a bad day, but I'm not giving this field another chance.
To start, the safety was very poor. Very little regard for masks, even on the fields while games were in progress. The refs did little if anything to help the situation. Dry firing in the dead zones is theoretically not allowed, but neither that rule nor the refs stopped everyone from dry firing in the dead zones.
The ref with my group wasn't very good. Didn't make sure people kept their masks on, didn't stop dry firing, wouldn't make paint checks.
The fields themselves were mediocre. They had three fields up and running. One spools, which I guess was the extent of woodsball, one airball, and one lego-ish speedball. There was a 4th one, a small airball, perhaps a 3-man, but it was deflated. The fields were well-maintained, from what I saw. Very small though, and limited variety.
Prices were reasonable, I went with a large group, so I don't know what it is for walk-ons. One last thing: the pro-shop carries very little. If you need a part, don't expect them to have it.
Overall, worst field I've played at. The safety especially was horrendous. 2/10.

Writing from the parents perspective, I brought my 13 yr old son to the field to play. He had a great time. We used rental equipment which worked, but with much less accuracy than the markers that most of the kids had. The games were completely unorganized, and the kids simply put them together by themselves (as my son put it 'just like in the good ole days, huh dad') and they were generally very well behaved. There seemed to be very little regard for the warning 'No dry firing in the staging area', as there was non stop dry firing in the staging area the entire time that I was there. One marker discharged live into the netting, fortunately there were few people around at the time, and nobody was hit. The kids frequently remove their masks on the playing field when the game is over even though there are still kids in the area with 'live' markers/guns, while they are walking back to the staging area. Most of the kids show very little knowledge of gun safety. There are no 'refs' on the fields. I've been to one other field, and I saw much better safety precautions, basically in these mentioned areas. At the other field, kids were warned that infractions would lead to expulsion without refund.
Ive bin to Top Gun paintball in Jackson and I have two word about that place.... NEVER AGAIN. Cost me over $70 to play and i only got to play an hour and a half due to the fact that their 2000 case is over $80 and the cheapest thing they have is 500 for like $13.50 It suks. I have also bin to Paintball Authority They rock over there

This place suks it may have 7 fields but the service bites so much. my drop forward on my gun came loose and instead of trying to fix it they told me to cover it in duct tape and it wound up twisting around and then they screw around in the office and it takes forever to serve you. They also mess around with these girls that come to visit. By god I am never go there again unless i have some extra paint i need to get rid of.

Hey, this field is really good because of the price. the fields aren't the best but the staff is really good. if you have a broken gun they'll be more than happy to fix it. you can bring your own paint and free air the whole day with admission. definitely going back there every time i go paint balling. top gun isn't the best because its very expensive and you cant bring your own paint. (90 dollars a case of 2000 when you can buy it for 40 dollars any other place) and its very annoying because you have to walk for about 20 minutes switching fields which takes up 2 much time. i recommend you to go to fireball mountain.
The fields aren't that great. The new one they got is a whole lot better but the ground is terible. It is always muddy somewhere even though it hasn't rained and when it does rain be prepared to be soaked in mud. The 3 man field is alright if you enjoy bunkers moving from right infront of you. The stakes do not hold them down very well and the bunkers move in the wind. Play on the 5 man field but watch out for the mud.
FBM in Old Bridge is the good...the fields arnt the best but the staff is....my Gun broke twice that day and both times Victor fixed it and i didnt have a problem with it again...i also got a new triiger put on it ... he put it on in a half hour and didnt stop until it was perfect..... Thanks for all the help......
I went down for vacation and found this place. It's a pretty good field just most of the air ball was deflated...Refs were pretty cool (Ryan - Nick - Fat Mike) after they inflated the 3 man field it was all good...also its mad cheap on some days like wednesday its 25 a person with own equipment, your get free air, and its BYOP (Bring Your Own Paint) all and all it was pretty good and it wasn't mad crowded...
I thought this feild was prety good 4 the price. They have 5 feilds(spools, lego, bus, and 2 speedball feilds). Most of the feilds are falling apart and need to be fixed up. For example one of the speedball courses is deflated. Refs are good but there is not enough to maintain the feilds. Staging area is fine and safe for spectatores. REfs and works are verry helpful and know alot about the sport. I would recemend this place if u live close because of the rates(25 BYOP air pass).
