this field from my tand point deserves a 10. Mainly b/c of the employes there. I just got my recon e-5 and they showed me everything about. They helped out whenever possible. weren't lazy, insulting, or plain impatient. They repair guns and have spare parts. Also they helped me get a hopper attacher. Also they have many sections for your skill type. Me i am personally not that great and it was pretty bad until they kindly suggested beginners. which i ownd. The fields are good. and they aren't to aggressive on rules like other places. If i were you i would most definetly go here. Oh by the way buy your own paint before u go. There's is cheap but bad.
I went to this field with a church group and other friends. the rentals were pirhannas with hpa systems and a cheap stndard hopper. the guns jammed and chopped a whole bunch. the hpa tanks weren't always filled up all the way though. we played on 4 different fields. the first was called d-day where the field was cut in half with a hill and valley. it was fun. the second was called forts. each side had different forts set up and the game was like 1 person had to touch the other teams fort without getting shot. the third was called airplanes. there was downed airplanes and parts everywhere. you could hide behind planes but not go in them. the fourth was called bunkers i think. there was the round metal and plastic cannisters that they store gas in covered with ghillie suits and roped together.it was a good price, 20 dollars each person for my church. go to there website for pricing. they had pizzas you could order for 12 bucks. The only bad thing was that the day i went, when we were refilling hpa tanks, people in the speedball fields shot over the nets and one almost hit me.

DFW Adventure Park: Very well designed fields but the refs are pretty much hit or miss. Terrible, or really good.
Directions to the Field:
Don't remember, but it's on the side of the lake, and I do remember that if you can see the field, your driving past it.
I went here with two friends and my dad for a birthday. The prices weren't bad. I was the only one who owned a marker, so the others rented. The rental guns are pirahnas. They don't rent out co2 tanks, only HPA. That's really cool. The refs gave us a safety speech and made sure I crono'd my marker, and then we headed off to play. They divide players into two groups, beginners and advanced. Some people say they do a good job of judging skill, but they wouldn't let this one guy into the beginners group because his pirahna had a fancy anno job. It was the same marker the people with rentals were using. He finally convinced the ref that he was getting his "butt owned" with the advanced group though.
The speedball fields were nice. There's not much to talk about though, speedball is speedball. The woodsball fields on the other hand were pretty unique. I only played two of them, but they were really good. One was called forts, and it was basically a really big ditch, however one side was considerably higher than the other, and had some big forts on it, this was the defence side. The other side was the assault side, and cover mostly consisted of logs, trees, rocks, and the occasional lump of plywood. It's pretty one sided, I don't see how defence can lose, but assault was fun. By fun I mean adrenaline rush kind of fun.
The other Woodsball field I played was ghost town, and it's now my favorite. It was a smattering of wooden huts, with spools in here and there. It's very close quarters in the middle, but the sides are pretty open.
The refs were good. They were nice and kept everyone safe, offered advice, and let you get on the same team as your friends. They kept track of some pretty darn big groups.
The bathrooms could have used some work. The sink wasn't big enough for me to comfortably stick my mask in it, and I don't remember if they had soap or papertowels, but it was missing some stuff. It was pretty small too, if a large group went through there it would take ages.
I thought the courses here were great. Several Nice airball firelds although a few needed inflating. Some great woods courses: D-day, Ghost town, etc.
Ref's were nice.
Lacking in management. No one checked chronos or explained the rules of the field. Just a very open "come play, what would you like to do". Not bad, just not organized and because of that it sometimes took a while for the games to start.
I think it could be a great place to play with better management. Someone out there organizing games and places, doing chronos and orientations so people know their rules. Prices were not really that bad, pretty comparitive to most places. Buy paint at the store a few miles away and you can play all day and night for $20.

Well, I traveled all the way from nebraska to here to visit my brother. I was very excited to play with some texas paintball.
I actually had a decent time, I played with a few X-factor guys and a few Smart Parts Factory guys. The staff was fairly nice, right on something when you asked them to be.
The prices were very expensive, fields all over Nebraska indoor/outdoor were charging a total of 60$ per day (case, air, entry). But here for a case by itself is 67$, then the entry is like 10$ more and then you have to pay 5$ for nitro.
Thank god I shoot alot or I would be very mad. I am going there again today most likely.
I didnt get to play much with the "rec-ballers" but I could tell if I did it would have been fun.
-Alot of people to play with
-The airball fields were hardly inflated which took out a bunker on each teams side.
-Pricing is terrible
-They make you wear this green wristband to make sure you paid, not a good idea.
-They need to water the fields or something they are very hard to slide on.
-They need to get rid of the other "airball" fields 3 and 4 I think they are, because they have wood inside the bunkers which make everyone uncomfortable and besides that it is very hard to fit behind one of those without worrying about your backside.
North on Fairway Dr, Near Grapevine Mills Mall and G-Lord Hotel
Pretty fun. Nice to have option for a 2 hr session. Took my son for his first time, he had a good time as well. Actually wish we had more time to try the Ghost Town field and more of the airball fields. Loved the D-Day Field and especially the Fort field.
The refs were adequate, giving hints for the fields that we came up to and keeping sometimes pretty large groups safe. Wish they had moved games along a little quicker.
Pricing wasn't horrible. $25 for 2 hours which included rental and 300 paintballs.
Will definitely play there again.
Official Paintball of Texas (Forney) - much better than xdrencrud
Trinity River Basin - hard to beat free
Directions to the Field:
Overall my experience at this field was not positive. Myself and six other buddies traveled here for an afternoon of play. To our dismay, the management of the field is shabby at best. They probably had 100 players at the field, but only about two refs. Consequently they tried to play way to many people at once in the speedball fields, which made it ridiculously un-fun. In addition, although they have some great woodsball fields, like ghostown, d-day, and others, you don't get to play them because of how poorly the field is managed. Even the manager that weekend couldn't answer basic questions about his staffing levels and when the next run of woodsball games would be. My friends and I ended up just wandering over to the open woodsball fields and playing without any official refs. Although this field has potential, it needs to be much better managed before I'll ever go back.
Central DFW location
low number of refs
moderate to expensive fees compared to other area fields
poor rotation of fields played
Overall, make the drive to Forney. Official Paintball of Texas is a much better run field and more fun to play.
The accuracy of this review is disputed. Please see discussion on the comments page.

Directions to the Field:
by lake grapvine near that dam thingy...
This place is the best paintball place i have been to EVER!
-First of all the refs there are very aware of safty and are always looking out for everone.
-The fields at this place are wonderful! They maintain the air ball fields so good. every now and then they will go out and inflat the bunkers so u never will have any deflated! Nice air ball fields and there is plenty of them. Like 5 air ball fields! And it sits right near the lake, nice view! The woodsball fields are fun too! Im way more into air ball though but for woods ball, its pretty dang good! They have D-day one where you run up from the shore of the lake and there are people up in the cliffs shootin down at ya. Its pretty fun.
- hours of operation. well i really dont now the this, but there open on the weekends for sure. They might be open on the weekdays for summer. dont now.
-The prices are very reasonable. Just dont buy there paint. They will sell u pirahna paint. not good. For half day is about like 25$ with nitro. very affordable! YAY!
-The rules are good. They really only play elimination. Theres nothing wrong with that is there!?!? I dont mind it.
-The proshop is small! But really doesnt matter cause its only for the people that work there. They seel some good stuff but i think you sould go to your local paintball store to buy stuff.
-The staff is nice and are very helping. They are happy to answer any questions.
-Most of the refs are teens in high school. nothing wrong with that. They are really nice and know alot about the game.
-Players that come here, please be ready for some high competion! Most of the experianced players play here. IONS are very commen here.
-Yeah this isnt five star dinning here. They sell gatorade and candy and some other stuff.
-etc.- On all the rental guns they use N2. Thats nitro for any of yall that didnt now. And you get to fill up your tank by yourself. No more waiting in long lines to get your tank filled up. SImply attach your tank and pull a little switch and hold it. Let go of the switch when your tank is filled up.
I RECOMMEND THIS FEILD TO ANY PLAYER. GREAT STAFF AND FIELDS FOR ALL PLAYERS!

a little hard to say, i was driven there, near autozone and paintball dynamics on n fairway
Awesome fields, wether you like airball or woods, great xball courses. All of the refs are helpful and knowledgeable, and will fix anything that goes wrong. My gun had broken down and before I could leave to take it to the shop, they let me borrow a rental. Of course that was after my tank wasnt working so they let me borrow one of theirs. Very safe, everyone listens to a speech about rules before walking onto the feild. Awesome feild overall. Only bad thing is, some of the courses (mainly one) could use a little improvement, such as the 'barrels' course. This consists of woods with white barrels with about a cup of water in each. Long story short i slid to one, knocked it over with a little tap, and broke my hopper neck, as well as getting my team eliminated. Overall, its a toss-up between 9 and 10, so ill round up.
