Davis paintball has a really nice 30 piece chronic field and this awesome rec field with a castle in the center of the field i normally only play speed ball but i would come out to Davis just to play rec again, and their chronic field is set up really nicely when it is up, when the winds get too high then they will probably take the field down but you wont be disappointed with the rec field, and Micah the field owner is one awesome person and who can argue with 15 bucks all day and air and the workers their are all nice

This field is off the hook. Nice chronic field and rec ball field. People are supper nice and the owner Micah is team captain of XSV with a super duper attitude. I recommend to check the weather report before you go cuz 25mph winds will shut down the airball fields.
$15 all day and air! That alone made it a good idea to go. It only gets better though. The fields are great and Micah (the owner and XSV player) is a great guy. The castle is alot of fun, and wind permitting the speedball field is great too. Its fairly new as far as I know, but it is also growing, meaning the facilities are only going to improve. Worth the trip if you live anywhere in the Bay Area.

This field was awesome. My team and I went there for speedball but the winds in Davis did not permit the use of the chronic field, which looked to be an awesome field when it is up. So we played on the hyperball/castl style field. most of the team has not played this style field in a long time and it was a blast. Micah the owner was so nice and so courteous to everyone and really, you cant be 15$ all day and air!

Overall this is a good Field.
Pros;
nice airball course
friendly staff with a pro owner (McGlocklin)
not as far away for me as some of the other Fields i had to take a 30-45 min drive to get to
Cons;
Still growing (they now have two Fields an airball and a castle thing)
road is less than perfect (or really far below it)
on a windy day you cannot play airball because the bunkers blow away

Ok for a new field it was AWESOME!!!!!!! Me and me friends loved it!!! The guy the owns it is really nice and cool. They have pretty good paint, GAP i think, and great prices. It's $15 for admission if you have your own stuff and $25 i think if you rent. You also get free N2 fills and co2 fills are 7-9oz=$2, 10-16=$3, and 17-21oz$4. They also have a portopoty. The only downsides are that it's a dirt road to get to the field, and there's only one field(they opened up September 6th i think). Overall this is a great field for both newbs and experienced players. Have fun!!!!
