Crazy field and pro shop for connecticut. three nasty speedball courses, air ball (not setup very good my last visit. A crazy hyperball course. Last a spool field. Then they have one woodsball. for those who love woodsball. im a an all around player but they have a woodsball field like no other. (HUGe model of a tank, peices of a crashed plane, which is a new addition. I liked this course very much. i may not have been to many paintball courses but , how can i when im a teen without a car and i live in conn.
one of the only paintball places that would be better than this one would be matts outbACK in coventry.
Extreme Paintball, Local Woods, some other fields out of state, dont remember the names....
My first impressions of Hogan's Alley was a small cramped place, boy was I wrong. The place is great, first off, the staff is friendly, down to earth, and knowledgeable about paintball. The store is great for tradeing in stuff and buying stuff, new or used. The prices are a little high, but what places aren't now adays. The prices are reasonable if a tad high. The fields are great, there are five fields. A spool field, Two airfields in rotation, a Hyperball field ( my favorite there), and a woods field. The wood field is a bit too small, and is usually muddy, but its still fun. They offer a great V.I.P. pass, and the food is great too, and cheap. I definantally recommend this place.

Okay, this field is great. The fields are kind of small, but they're pretty good anyway. They have Hyperball, Xball, SupAir' (which they took away for a little bit, then they put back in quite recently) , they have a Spool field (my favorite) and they have woods (which i hate..). Some of the refs are cool. They all STRONGLY enforce the basic rules such as "keeping your mask on when your on the field" and "barrel plugs must be in at the staging area". I've never had the food there because I'm always having too much fun to have an appetite, but according to all my freinds, their hotdogs are pretty damn good. And theyr'e only a dollar! The store has a HUGE selection of guns and accessories. The stores people are really cool and the gun techs DEFINATELY know what they're doing when it comes to fixing broken guns. Their paint is ALWAYS fresh, but it's pretty expensive (cheapest case is Diablo White Box and $50). There's a couple of guys that go there every weekend. I HATE THEM!.. they're the BIGGEST wipers in the world and they talk so much crap about all the little kids and it pisses me off. Every tiem i go there, i play ONE game witht hem, hoping to light them up, but hey.. its kinda tough to light someone up with an A-5. (can't wait till i get my Impuslse :-D).. hmurghmm.. anyway, this field is great. I love it and i go whenever i can. Me n my team are usually there on Sundays if you wanna play us! : ) but beware, we have an psycho teammate ;)

Hogans Alley's field and store is one of the best. The Referees are nice and they even out the teams pretty fair but one time they did put me with 3 other noobies! I was mad but hey it was only once. This guy Phil that makes hotdogs for only a buck and they're really good. The sodas and gatorades are really cheap sodas are 75 and gatorades are a buck. They have a wide selection of guns, parts, and accesories. There stuff is not cheap but not expensive. I go there every weekend or every other weekend. They have there good people and bad people that play at the field. Last week when I played they said there were like 100 people so it was packed. It is a very popular field in the CT area. This guy that works the cash drawer is super nice and let me rent a nitro tank twice since I had to send mine back to Crossfire to get it fixed. The don't have the SupAir field there anymore but they still got X-Ball which is still a good field. They have the hyperball field which I love and the spool field is ok but I don't like the woodball field. Overall this field is one of the best.
This field was the first real field i actually played on. i live in norwalk, hogans is over an hour away from my house, but i carpool with my team, all of whom live closer to the field. the speedball fields are excellent, and the refs are fair, except when they put a bunch of people with really nice guns against me and a bunch of newbs, and they get mad if you shoot them as my friend found out, but heck id be mad if some newb shot me. i prsonally hate the woodball field, because the only cover is beind forklift sliders, and those have frikin slits that people can shoot you through. the price is very reasonable except for rentals. one thing i hate about all popular fields are those rich, fat spoiled kids who on their first day get a dm4 and all c4 gear, then stay behind the back bunker all day and tear up the less fortunate people with tippmanns. 9/10 overall, very gratifying paintball experience any day you go.

I would rate it a 9 because it has 5 diffrent fields. It has a speedball field, xball field, spools, hyperball, and a woods field. The bad part of the field is that it is always crowded and the fields are pretty small. The people are nice and the refs are fair
I love that they have 4 speed ball fields with different setups. Also, Refs are real cool and seem to care how they ref. The onsite store is the best I've been too. Everytime I needed service to my marker, the staff were very helpful and made repairs while I waited. The store takes trade in's which is how I got my new tank with Manifold Max-Flo 4500 which is the best I've used as of today. I can't say much more than I can't wait to play again...
I haven't really played in any others around here, but they can't be as good as Hogan's.
Hogan's Alley is definitely the best place for paintball that I have ever been to. all of their fields are great because of the way they are set up and what they consist of. The refs are nice. They do their job well and don't yell a lot. It can just take a few minutes to get one to the field you want, but they usually know what they are doing. They also have hot dogs that are very tasty! Their store has a huge selection of just about everything you need with reasonable prices. They have all kinds of markers that you can hold if you ask them. Air fills are only $2. The only thing is that lines for air can sometimes be a little bit long, but they are not always that bad. I plan on coming here as often as I can.
i have never played at any other feild and i don't think you really have to because hogans has everything!
first of all the best thing about this feild is that it has 4 feilds. so after your done playing at one you just go onto another feild and you can join the game if its about to start. the costumer service is o.k. also the refs are sord of rinky dink. but there is one ref there that reallly knows what he's doing and looks like he has lots of experiance. he even gave me some tips. the best feild that i think is there is either the spools or hyperball. the paintball shop they have inside is HUGE. they have so many markers and anything you could possibly think of. also they have awesome hot dogs!
Hmm, i guess just Strategy plus. Ive never gone there but my friends say it is nothing like hogans!
THIS IS THE ONLY FIELD I GO TO! It is awesome, the speedball fields are ingeniusly planned out and the woods are really cool. The refs are layed back and relaxed, which makes for a more enjoyable time. It is true, once and a while its hard to get a ref to come over to the field you want to play on, but they usually can work it out. Also, they have plenty of snacks and drinks. The staff is kickA$$ and they let you hold and check out any gun there, and thats REALLY saying something. They always can fix your gun and can usually get it done for free. This is the best paintball site on the planet. NO JOKE.
