This is a pretty good field over all. It has some really really good strong points, like the ref's (and other staff), good pro shop prices, different types of games, nice field setup. But then again it has it's weakpoints, field fee and paint cost, a lot of people playing for such a small space (even though, when I go we usually end up with 20 vs. 20 and there is plenty of room). Also, the staging area tends to get packed during the afternoon, but if you get there early, you should have no problem finding a table. Overall I would reccomend this field to anybody that wants to have a lot of fun and a great time.
This is a great field to go to if you are a beginner or if you are an experinced tournement player. the refs know what they are doing, the staff is great , the games are different every time. The only down side is that its 60$ for a case of paint and the field fee is 20$. other than that this is one of the best fields ive been to
Well it's no shooters world (the first field) but this one's in business and they know how to lay out a good field.
STRONG POINTS:
STAFF & FIELD
-Safety does come first
-This field is huge and is capible on having large volume teams against each other. If you don't like that then Thursdays are usally 5 on 5.
-Staff is cool, they always make sure you are having a great time.
-Staff always fixes your gun if it's a minor problem usely free of charge. Or if gun doesnt work they are cool to let you borrow one of their rentals.
-overall, staffing wise, they are all cool and friendly.
PROSHOP:
They have everything you need, cloths, guns, paint, markers, etc..
-Every thing is under retail
PRICE-
It's cool but the only thing is the paint. It's hard spending 5-10 cents per paintball. Their paint is the most expensive and you can only use their paint. Some guys with the timmys will go through 30 bucks a game but if they spend a grand a gun then the can spend the money on paint. but my broke ass cant. So that is the only thing that sucks.
Had heard good things from other players in the area. Decided to check it out firsthand.
The Good:
* Great game variety. Nice mix of game types.
* Great refs. Saftey was a number one concern. Good coverage.
* Excellent pro shop. Didn't have a Spyder spring kit in stock, but provided me with springs when I couldn't get under the 260fps limit.
* Great prices. Everything was well under retail.
Exxtreme Pursuit is the PERFECT field for the rec-ball player, or the group to hit up. With the Arizona heat its hard to get a group of your 15 friends to head out at 6am to play some ball. The indoor is a nice chance to sleep in and still play.
Their staff is well knowledged and they listen to the player ... if you have enough people they'll gladly try some different games with you all.
Their proshop is pretty well stocked, and well maintained.
THE FIELD:
For the type of field (large indoor) its VERY well setup ... with just the right amount of objects, bunkers and towers. You have room to move around, and room to play strategic.
If your wanting a fast paced game ... Hit up WILD WEST
If your wanting to go out with your friends, have some fun and get a good day of Recball in ... then give these guys a call.
Refs - The reffing is better than other places I've played, like, ALOT better. They got a new one, and he knows what he's doing, it's amazing.
Proshop - They have the largest selection of guns at great prices I've seen in a long time. Very smart people behind the counter too! Prices for parts and paint arent bad at all.
Field - The field is very intense, and for the most part it keeps cool, but sometimes it does get a bit on the hot side. Dirt floor is a plus, and it gets cleaned on a weekly basis. Very cool.
I'n conclusion, I'd go there again and again and again. But don't take my word for it, get there and play!
This field isn't that bad! Honestly, if you just want to go out and have a good time go here. Friday nights its not too packed at all.
The staff was very friendly and knowledgable. The safety video was like 8 minutes long.
This is the kind of field you go to with a couple friends just to relax and interact with fellow players. Its true there are a lot of new players there, but represent your sport, let them try your gun, be nice to them!
Check this place out if you're looking for a good time.
BAD-okay course, but they let too many people in for the size of the playing area. The is a good amount of structures and bunkers, but they are of high quality. The referees only use about 1/4 of the course usually, so they can be lazy, speedball is horrible in the quarter of the course that they use.
GOOD- like most places, admition is cheap. Paintballs are about 5 dollars less than some places, and there big balls, so they're pretty good. the people that work there are good with guns.
This is a decent field, i went with some friends to a bitrhday part. THE SAFETY VIDEO IS AN HOUR LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was my big turn off after my first time. but it has pretty good terrain. This field is a decent one and definetly is better than the xtremely sucky battlezone, which should be avoided at all costs.
