Command Decisions Paintball is the best paintball field around this area for sure. They have a variety of speedball fields and one of the the best woodball areas I have ever played at. The field was formally known as Carolina Paintslingers but has since gotten new owners and they have turned this field around. The management team are as friendly as they come and love the sport of paintball just as much as all the players who come to the field. I'm not much of a speed baller but even when I did play on the fields it was still enjoyable to me. The meat of this field that draws me back everytime is the woodsball area. They have a total of 40 acres with 6 main forts. The area between forts are set up perfect as well for wood combat. My favorite base is Fire Base its set up with trenches, bunkers, bridges, and all that is needed to make a strategic experience while defending or attacking. The scenario games that they host are top of the line in fun and excitement. I've played alot of scenarios games and never get into them as much as I did at Command Decisions scenario games. They are safety concious and have a large number of refs there to make sure everyone is playing by the rules. The field FPS is 280 or below which is what everyone I play with at a non reg field shoots to be fair. The only problem I have had with the field is one time I went and played was on a very hot day and the store paint had been sitting in the store with very little AC and the paint was busting in the barrel, they worked with tme though and got me new paint which was very appreciative. All in all I give the field the best rating 10.
I think this is an awsome field for both Speedballers, and Woodsballers. They have a "Sim City" which brings both the far different players together. They have a great deal of people up their that know a great deal of things about Speedball and Woodsball. If you would like to learn how to play either one of these, Command Decisons is the place to go!
Speedball courts = Great
Woodsball Forts (Area) = Awsome
Command Decisions is the best field I've ever played at it has nice speedball fields and the very best woodsball fields I've ever seen. Cheap prices also are very nice. They have a good range of paint prices (30-60) and fill compressed air and Co2. For walk on play there's always a very nice crowd on the weekends and at scenerios there are tons of people. Command Decisions also has urban play in their "sim city" which is alot of fun. This is the best field that I've ever played at and you'll agree with me once you play here.
Well first of off let me just say, this place is awesome. THey have everything you need to enjoy a good day of paintball. Thier fee's are cheep also. $10 for all day air and $10 more dollars for field fee's. They sell excellent paint from 30-65 dollars a case. They have many different field ranging from woods with over 10 different courses to helicopters, to tatical house to playin in and last but not least speedball. THey are really great people that run the place. People are allwayz willing to help. I highly reccomend this couse to any body.
This is a great place to go play. Its got it all, speedball fields, an urban warfare field, forts and even a helicopetor out in a field to go use. Theres so many diffrent things you can do out there. For less than $60.00 you can spend the whole day out there. $20.00 for all day air and field fees and $40.00 for a case of good quality paint. So what more could you ask for. For the same amount of money you'd spend at Carowinds for a day you can play a full day of paintball all for about the same price. Also after 6:00 PM they play night ball out on the speedball field. Well that most of it. Go out and play sometime.
This field used to be named Carolina Paint Slingers, but is under new management.
Review:
Like I just mentioned the place is at the same location as, what used to be, Carolina Paint Slingers. The prices are pretty much the same but they are cleaning the place up now, and enforcing rules a better then before. (IMO) They have a nice chrono area set up and are adding/ giving face lifts to the place. I think this place is more geared towards scenario (40 acres and 20 playable, probably about 85% is woods) but they do have 3 Speedball Fields. Airball,"Wallball", and a drum/hyperpipe type field.
PRICES:
-All day field fee $10
-Its $10 all day air for HPA(5000psi fills) or CO2, or you can get the fills at varied prices for different size CO2 tanks, and $1 per 1000 psi HPA.
-The paint isnt bad the prices range from $40-$65 for a case of paint, and the cheaper stuff actually is more then halfway decent. They also sell by the bag which is convient if your not looking to play all day.
-All day gun/air/field fee is $35 (Tippmann 98C)
This place is fun to play at, and they always have big scenario games going on, Its a pretty cool place, and the staff is friendly, and In my experience the players there are very friendly as well. Over all I give it a thumbs up, and an 8. Couple points lost in my book ONLY because I love speedbal and I am biased, but its definetly worth stopping and playing at.
