Review: i havn'tplayed at any other field besides gorilla and if i had a choice i wouldn't go to other fields. I really like the way they manage things and all the awsome staff members. You really get what you pay for. the way the bunkers are set up is awsome they always move it around. I really think that people should go to this field because they are really nice, know what there doing, and just plain awsome.

Review: -Well, the new field is alot smaller than the first one, and there's only one field, but that doesn't bother me much, because its always changed around.
-They separate the beginners from the pros, so that's cool.
-The prices are pretty good, especially on team nights.
-Every time i go I get to play 10+ games, so I get what I pay for.
-I know alot of the people who work there and there hella cool.
Its just an all around field, but I cant compare it to any other because Gorilla is the only one Ive ever been to, but if you ever get a chance, go there, its a blast, and you'll get what you pay for!

Poso Creek Paintball- WAY better for more than one reason. Prices are similar, but the difference lies with the referees and general attitude of the staff. Don't get me wrong, Gene is the man and he is great. But the adolescent, little-man syndrome having teenagers that call themselves refs are HORRIBLE!

At Gorilla, they have one field that is way overcrowded. Example-today, I was there all day and played 5 games! ALL DAY & 5 GAMES!

Poso, 5 fields, more games than you can count. And if it was crowded, you could never tell because there are 5 FIELDS!
Review: After today, I have had enough. I am never going back there. The staff overall is awesome, but the refs make the games hard to enjoy.

It is worth going there once to appreciate how good Poso really is.

And, I heard that a new field called mr. paintball or something is coming to town that is supposed to make Gorilla look like a chump playground. I don't know, we'll see.

On Target Paintball: Impossible to compare the two due to the differences in play, if you like outdoor wooden structure scenario type stuff then on targets the place, if you want speedball, blow up bunkers like the nppl, and indoor play then gorillas the palce.
PosoCreek Paintball:Havnt played there its too much of a drive for me when i could just go to ontarget or gorilla

Review: Saftey:Big saftey stuff, 2 chronographs to check your velocity, awesome refs.
Hours: Awesome, thursday team night, friday, saturday, sunday, all other days are private parties you have to ask if you can join
Prices: Awesome, i tried to get a texas storm timmy off the internet it was used for about 450, found one at gorilla in perfect working condition for 315.Entry on thursdays is 10, evey other day is 15, 15 for rentals, average of 40 for a case of paint.
Rules: Awesome, they are big on saftey, the last thing they want is someone getting hurt.
Services:Great service very polite and they know what they're talking about, Gene is a certified airsmith, they have co2 fills, 3000 and 4500 air fills, low end to high end guns for very good prices, a whole mess of upgrades, masks, all the stuff a shop would need.
Staff: the staff is awesome they're polite, friendly and know what they're talkin bout
refs: Awesome refs, they make sure that you have fun and stay safe at the same time
Players: all the cool people go there
food:they have snacks and drinks that they sell, but if you looking for a full mean they allow you to order pizza and have it delivered there.

Review: This field is brand new and Is opening on 10-28-06. Their contact expired on their last building so this is a brand new one, good clean turf, great fields, amazing people at the pro shop, I would HIGHLY reccomend this field to anyone. Safety means a lot to the refs and ower of Gorilla. If you arent playing safe, you arent playing at all. They only have 1 field which is kind of a down side, but It is a good sized field. They open at 10:00 in the morning and close whenever everybody leaves (about 7:00). Prices are good $40 for a case of paint $10 for entrance and $10 for air. They enforce all rules such as overshooting, and bunkering. They have a full on proshop carrying everything from thread savers to DM6s and EVERYTHING inbetween. Their staff is very friendly and will help you out with any questions you may have. Refs are all very friendly unless you are a tournament player and then they tend to joke around with your mistakes but they are definatley some awesome people. There isnt any food but there are fast food places nearby. I gave this field a 10/10 because of the fun and safe atmosphere. Most of the people that play there aswell are very nice and will lend you a pod when you are on the field if you are out of paint. Keep it up Gorilla!!

Review: It has two fields currently but has room for many more. It being indoor is a big plus on those rainy days. They have structured games with good refs, but the refs intend to be lazy. Customer service is ok, but could definitely improve. And the store is ok it has a variety of things.

Review: To start off The field was set up great. The fact that it was indoor was nice on a rainy day like today. I would recomend good anti fog it got humid inside. The refs did a good job with 2 exceptions. First The obvious regulars were showing off too each other at the chrono when we came in. The chrono would beep after every shot. the last guy to shoot was at 375. Whos responsability is it to enforce ball speed? Second, bonus balling was rampant. The refs yelled at offenderfs but nobody was called out for it, I dont think it should be tolerated. Also this is the only place i have been where we got shot in the back by our own side. I thought it was a rookie mistake until i heard the regulars laughing about it. it seems thats how they get the newbies out of their way. when we got home i counted 8 welts on my back and 5 on my sons.and in the last year we have never had welts with broken skin under two layers of clothes like this. hopefully the management can get a handle on that before their 10 regulars become their only customers.
I think the fact that so many people were there is a testament to the fact that today was probably an off day so i will come back..

Review: Pros: This is a pretty good field. The fields are fun and its nice to be inside. The ref are fair and size each team up evenly. The pro Shop is cool but they never have many things in stock. They have food and a few arcade games which is cool.

Cons: The only bad thing is that some of the guys working there can be jerks. They wont let kids touch any of the high-end markers.

Conquest - Completely different experience, as its outdoor. However, both are fun.
California Paintball Park - I haven't been back since the change in ownership, though I like the variety there.
Review: I'm kind of biased towards Gorilla, because it also happens to be my local shop. Spent a good deal of money there and Gene's the one who does all the work on my 'cocker. I finally got to play their fields and I left, pleased with the experience. I would have liked to have played more games, but power outages (not just them, about a 1/2 mile radius of businesses) and just getting over the flu limited my playing time. Regardless, my sons and I had a good time. The refs are cool and don't play favorites. They like to keep an eye on how games progress and if they see the field could use a quick fix, they'll switch things around. Both the refs I saw working that day, really seem to pay particular attention, sizing up the guys/girls playing and break teams out evenly. While playing and watching, I never noticed either side have a distinct advantage. Big time props for making that extra effort.

My only nitpick is the floors outside the fields get extremely slick. My oldest son busted his butt on the hard concrete twice, wearing field shoes. They worked great on the turf... but as soon as you hit that slick floor... WHOOPS!

This place will be even better, once they get their third field up and running. From the looks of it, its going to be BIG. Can't wait for that.

If you're in the area, you owe it to yourself to pay them a visit. There aren't any attitudes working there, other than helpful ones.
