What more can i say about this field? i mean it really SUCKS!!!!!!!!! the living daylight outta bordem! this feild(s) rules. From 5 sadistic fields and a wicked shooting range that cant be denied.
Ya ther'e maybe not any ref, But i know for a fact D-man himself or his son stop down time-to0time to catch some bonus-ballin noobs.
Great service.......Sweet action and war feel to it, not comparable to any other field this feild is simply the best in my book when it come to out door paintball. other fields such as splat master are awsome and great 4 speed ball. but these fields bring a whole new meaning to the word Extreme.
to break down what it's like here you go:
Field #1 : Large field. has great cover making this wood forked map a close combat situation. a few hills and a sweet tongue stuck right down the middle(great to climb in and snipe)
Field #2 : Meduim field. Has a great assortment of cover, from cars, trucks, tires and trenches this feild is great for 10-20 players nothing wrong with this field exepct a few mice in the cars (but hey it's a war-zone big deal) and the fact all the other fields kick it's as$.
Field #3 : Medium-large field. a moslty Car and but sweet busses and truckes(i mean where else can u see that!) sweet trneches and a greta feild to play in i consider this a personal favirote (has a huge hill for excellent sniping)
Field #4 : Small Field. is all about speed. Its a Long field with a a few building shaped bunkers on one side and small berms/piles of junk on the other side. He who gets to the truck in the center first takes control of the game.
Field #5 :HUGE field. is undeniably the best awsome space (i recommend 20+ on this corse) what make this corse the best is the fact the basically took every field and threw it the the blender...baked it.. and came out with the sickest..sweetest...and most extreme paintball field in Colorado.
hahah Jacob look!!!!! it's me marcus hahahah!(sorry but i had to post this )

Place is great for the most part, it is a drive and if you've never been there it might be a little difficult to find at first. My friend and I are addicted to this field, we play no where else and we are from Denver! As other people have mentioned there are no ref's which could be a good thing and bad. You can make up your own rules and play how ever you want, how ever long you want. Dragon Man has a gun rang as well so you get all types of people hanging out. Cool thing about this place has to be the people and the diversity of players, US Army sometimes practice there which is interesting to watch but don't bother asking to join in because you can't.
If you want to play in a open field with plenty of cover and variety this is for you!
If you are a square and need you mommy to watch over you while you play, you need help.
I give them 8 out of 10 becuase equipment rental they have are sub-par. BRING YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT IS A MUST! Guns are badly beaten and although they explain about the safety rules no one enforces them. It is common to see people shooting hot because there is no place to crono your weapon. Few times they do bring it out not many people use them, there are people who try to get an edge by cheating (either adjusting there gun higher than safe velocity or whiping off paint during play) but that is to be expected.

Rocky Mountain Paintball - REALLY Good Place for SpeedBall!
Splatmasters - Small place, but really good Customer Service!
Ok, the first thing you see as you drive up Dragon Mans road is dead people hanging out of cars with arms and legs missing(fake of caurse).... It really gives you the meaning of the sign that says "Dont Pi** Me Off"!
There are numerous feilds, all of witch are really big! Its a great place for scenario play and since there is no refs, you can basically do what you want the guy doesnt care really!
Id say go here if your into the scenario thing, but if you want tourny stuff, go Rocky Mountain Paintball.
Mostly at peoples houses that have a lot land and trees and rocks
It was a pretty good feild. Not well put together but it didn't need to be. Lots of things to hide behind like cars and walls. It was a fun place to play at because their were so many feilds to chose from and they range from different sizes and different things on the field. Supposed to go and play their again the 20th of this mounth and I'm looking forward to it. I give it a 9 out of 10 cause you would have to play with honest people because their arn't refs or anything. All in all though it was a pretty good feild.
This is a good field. It ranges from small fields to really big fields. the Owner of the field is not the nicest guy. he is very anti-social. The field staff is really nice. they don't use any refs and you have to compete against the air-soft players for fields. i am going to give them a 6 based on the attitude of the owner.
I have not had the chance to play at any other field in the Colorado Springs area. Ive been out of the game for a few years and moved during that time.
What I like: Well, what can i say about Dragun man's 5 fields. First off no field is the same as another. There are diffrent objects, and opsticals in each area of play suchs as old fences, cars, huge spools (which you can role around), hills, mounds, tires (all sizes).. and the list goes on. Many of these objects you can improvize with, for example, the large spools, or maybe you might run up or back to a car hood laying on the ground which you could lift up for fast cover if needed. Each field is good size, not to big and deffently not to small, bottom line you wouldn't get lost, just disorented. The fields are seprated by long mounds runing the length of the field, about 10-12 feet high. This is good because it makes cheating by running out of bounce and back in impossible. (No red or orange tape to mark boundries here) Also if your hit and out you can get a near birds eye view of the rest of the game. Dragun man provides all supplys for the every day paintball player and is well priced. If you need a break or to fix your gun he has no problem leting you chill out in his show room. He is the one of the only class 3 weapons dealers in the state, If you don't know what that means you will find out and it will blow your mind. His main buisness is dealing guns and things like that, paintball is more a service he enjoys providing.
Things I don't like so much: If you an a bunch of freinds go to play out of Dragun man's place there a few things you should under stand before driving out there.
- There are no refs, Its just dragun man and his wife, and they will not sitout there and babysit. If you want to go anyway, make sure you go with honest people.
- There are no safety rules, you sign a waver and thats it. No barrel plug required and you can shoot at anything at any time you want to. So make sure you astablish rules before you get out there.
- Some fields you have to serisouly whatch where you running to, parts are over grow and its hard to see how the terrain is changing.
- There is no water fountain, but you should bring your own water anyways.
Thats really about it, I give these courses two thumbs up and 9/10.
Rocky Mountain - Hyperball Tournament / Woods Rec Ball
Splat Masters - Small Air ball Field. Nice but simple. Tournament/Speedball
Battle Creek (?) - Just found out about it havent played it yet
Dragonmans Fields are great for people who has ALL their own equipment. People who play there are usualy fairly down to earth. Not many tourny types due to the lack of HPA. This is a CO2 only field. The Fields themselve provide a fairly diverse offering.
#1 has a close quaters house to house feel. The bunker walls are all tall but open so they provide some cover but no true safe spots.
#2 has lots of open flat ground but the bunkers are all very large and solid. Provides very tactical play.
#3 has lots and LOTs of places to hide. Most of the bunkers are deceiving being stronger on the other side. Takes some getting used to. Great for all the sneaky players out there.
#4 is all about speed. Its a Long field with a a few building shaped bunkers on one side and small berms/piles of junk on the other side. He who gets to the truck in the center first takes control of the game.
#5 is HUGE. Great for large groups. this one is all trenches and hills. though it doesnt look it to start.
The only downside to this field is the lack of control that the owners enforce. There are no refs at all so if you have an issue with another player it probably wont get resolved without some work on you part.
Also when I say all you own equipment I mean ALL you own equipment. This includes field items like the chrony. The last 2 visits to the field there was no chrony at all. And the time before that the chrony set up belonged to one of the players. Im not sure if this is going to be addressed (maybe the field unit is in the shop for a few months) but since there are no Refs many players never even think about the lack of safety gear.
The rental gear is crap. Plain and simple. CO2 leaks are commen. The markers CANNOT be adjuseted if their firing hot. The Lenses are scratched badly. The masks are often not very clean when ya get em (stinky).
My Sugestion. Buy a Radar Chrony for your group and, play with people you know. Then this is a great place to play. This is where my group plays most often.
This field or shall I say fields, is extreme to say the least! There are five fields in all, varying in size and play. If you want a small war then field 5 is the way to go since you need forty plus players to cover it! There's berms, cars, trenches, tires, bunkers of all types to use! Small teams of five can really go at it on the smaller fields and you can even get flanked on the smaller fields! makes playing great.
Field setup is a 10.
Size of fields is a 10.
Types of fields is a 10.
Tactical layout of fields is a 10.
Watching from the side lines is funny! It's great to watch someone get whacked when they never see it coming but it's even better when you have three on three and one of the three is in a heavy crossfire!
Where else can you go and hide in a bus!
It would not be fair to compare Dragon Mans to Splat Master or Splat Masters to Dragon Mans! The play is too different at both places!
Dragon Mans gives you a realistic war feeling with the feeling that you are going to die! It's open and yet it's not and that can get newbies into a lot of trouble.
The only thing that I do not like is that there are no refs and if there were they would not be able to watch everything since the fields are so large. The day I was there, there was a punk kid who just could not get it into his pea brain what fifteen feet rule meant! Other than that it's a great set of fields and YES you need to have one player who is in charge. Otherwise things will get ugly.
This is without a doubt my favorite field, that being said it might not be everyones cup of tea. I play mostly up in the mountians with 20-40 other players, so I like the independence that Dragonman offers. I end up at Dragonman's when we don't have enough players for the mountians, the odd part is it takes longer to get to Dragonman then to our spot in the mountians and thats a bit of draw back. First off it's cheap and that is a big plus, it allows you to bring your own paint, love the fields, and there are no refs slowing down the game. All of the fields have their own feel, wether it's wrecked cars, flat ground with wooden fences, trenches, hills and burms, I suugest field number 5. I have only ever had one problem with other players(guy got shot and gave his extra paint to one of his friends still playing), for the most part I like the people and have made friends. Now all that said if you like the structure and the control other fields offer this place may not be for you, The only reason I give this field 9, is because it so so so far away.
