I love this field, they have a great staff, great prices and great fields. the have 2 speedball fields, and five woodsball fields ( the town field is usually flooded so we don't play there much) The refs are really nice and helpfull, and they have a nice food set up usually every sunday (the only day i go, i'm not sure about saturdays)
south on 301 past big bend rd. left on 672 straight for 7miles kohns sports paintball park on right
Kohns is a very nice paintball park and has 3 speedball feilds and 4 woodsball feilds. The prices are of the following: 20$ if you have your own equiptment(not including paintballs), 30$ for rental package which includes tippman A-5, 500 paintballs, mask, hopper, and tank. The refs and feild staff is very nice and are willing to help, assist, and answer any questions that you might have. The food is good but a little bit pricey.
Other than that I would reccommend this feild to any person that might ask!!!
exit 246 off of I-75, take a right on big bend road, another right on 301, left on cr672, 6.3 miles field is on the right
This field is probably the best field in florida! The safety on this field is probably the best iv'e seen, barrel socks and safety on at all times. Very fair refs, safety orientation every time you go. Gates open at 9:00 last game starts at 4:30. $20 field entry and all day air. They have one x ball field one nppl field one mish mash field and several woodsball fields. the owner is an awsome guy if there is a problem with your gun they will go out on a limb for you. This place is very family oriented I highly reccomened it to anyone who plays paintball.
Oribtial Paintball is the only other field I've played at besides the many private fields that I go to owned by friends. Its right up there with Orbital in my book if not better.
Directions to the Field:
Kohn Sports Paintball Park
14301 County Road 672Wimauma, FL 33598
If you turn left off of 301 onto County Road 672 (CR-672) keep driving, I mean keep driving, eventually you will see the sign Kohns Sports and a long dirt road down to where the actual fields are located. Its right next to a dirt dump, you will pass a big mountain on the way not that dirt dump I'm talking about, when you see it your there.
Okay now for the fun stuff.
I first went to Kohns when it was under its old management. It seemed that everything back then was ran by kids, and that there wasn't enough refs for the field at one time. The fields themself were okay back then but not great.
However ever since the new management, it appears Kohns has really turned itself around. Kohns Sports has really allowed their fields to grow. They have 1 X-ball field, 1 NPPL field, and one Hyperball Field. It also has about (from what I remember hearing) 80 acres of land that they use for their scenario games, of which they've started doing since the new management started. I've yet to be to one of those but I'm headed to the next one. The 80 acres are divided into 5 seperate woodsball fields.
The fields are kept clean and their woodsball fields are forever growing and changing. The one in charge of the bunkers for their woods last time I heard he's building a new castle for their next scenario.
On average the field gets pack with nice, kind players ranging in about 30-40 people a day but there are many times when there could be more, and again many times the days are slow (paintballers aren't made of money we can't all be out there every weekend!). The refs are very nice and respectable as long as you remain that way with them and other players. They won't hesitate to answer your questions and are always willing to help, listen to suggestions/ideas on games, etc. Also safety is of high priority on the field from all the refs and you will feel safe with them around making sure that everyones on the same path as far as mask on, safety on, barrel plugs on.
They have a great pro shop and last time I was at the field when my gun stopped working they tried their hardest to fix it and so I could keep playing they loaned me a rental.
Above all a great place to play with great people. Oh and its very reasonalbly priced.
RENTAL PACKAGE $30:
47/3000 Compressed Air Tank
Proto Switch Mask
Field Entry and All Day Air
UNLIMITED SPEEDBALL AND WOODSBALL GAMES

Plus great deals on very good paint.
Kohns is a 10 out of 10 that everyone should try from the seasoned pros to the fresh newbies.

Where to start.
Me and another member of my paintball team decided to go some where other than blitzkreig so we found kohn's. From my house it was about a 45 minute drive. It would of been a lot longer without I-75. So we got there at about 11. The only downside is that there was next to no one there. We asked a couple of other players and they said there was usually a lot more people and that it was just a slow day. Other than that it was absolutely great. They have one of the best X-ball fields i've ever played on. They also have a great nppl field. The best part is that they are both actually regulation size! So it's great for team practice. They also have a kick a** hyperball field and a huuuge woodsball field with 2 two story towers for attack and defend it's also great for scenario games. The grass on the fields is excelent to. And the bunkers are in great condition. The employee's are also some of the nicest people ever. This field is great for new and experienced players alike. If you live far away from kohn's it is definately worth the drive. I forgot to mention for the newer players they -do not- allow walmart paint. It has to be from a paintball store. You can also buy paint there. PERFECT FIELD! I would play here over CFP any day. They are also going to start doing scenario games and tournaments!
11 out of 10
I went to this place last weekend and i have only on word. WOW! This place is great and very affordable. They had one x-ball field a 3-man NPPL and hyperball. they have enough refs to have 2 at each field and the fields are great. there is no build up of paint and grass is perfect. I highly recomend this field paint is cheap $35 a box i think and service is great. They have over 1000 acers and are preparing to build more fields to hold tournaments.
After coming to school in august 07, i played a practice at kohns with my team before a tournament. The field had undergone a management change and had one xball field and a woods course.
Less than 3 months later, after practicing almost every week there, the field has improved considerably. While all aspects were good during my first visit, the field has REALLY come around. There are now 2 xball fields, one full scale NPPL field, an excellent hyperball field, and a well set up woodsball course. There are usually enough refs to have at least 2 per field, food and drinks are affordable and plentiful, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and Jim (the Owner), does an excellent job of making sure everything runs smoothly. There is always a good mix of Tournament players and recreational players.
The short story is that this field is excellent in every aspect!
This field is pretty good it is very kepted up, there is no build up of paint laying around on the ground and the bunker are kept clean. Another good thing about the park is that the pro shop is willing to see problems with your equipment. There is also fresh food and drinks sold for a pretty reasonable price. one thing i like alot is that player are really nice and give you advice to improve your game and they help you with safety by reminding you to keep your mask and barrel cover on. There are so bad thing about the place too for instance, there is never enough refs at the field, they only have about one or two refs there every Saturday and Sunday, and they are always running back between speed-ball and woods-ball. So since there not enough refs most of the time players start reffing games. Another bad think is that the refs don't circulate the field so all the experienced players stay on one field and won't let any rec players on the field. The safety is pretty good refs remind you not 2 take your mask off when your on the filed but most of the time players notice it before the ref does because they are not paying any attention. One of the things i hate most about the field is that the refs call you a out for a bouncer they don't even paint check or anything I get mad every time this happens. : > [
