Have Played at Paintball Games of Pearland (now closed) and Paintball USA. Tanks ranks above them as the other 2 really did not cater to speedball.
Review:
Tanks Paintball is one of the best fields I have played at in Houston. My friends and I go out their just about every weekend, there are always plenty of people there to play. I really enjoy their speed ball and hyper ball fields, they have one of the best setups ever. They are also currently working on putting up lights, so soon there will be night games there as well. If you love speed ball then Tanks is the place for you, most the other field I have played in Houston cater to the woods type of players. Those particular type of games are too slow for me, I enjoy speed and Tanks delivers.
The only reason they do not receive a 10 is because of their smaller than average staging area and also the walkway out to the staging area is always soaked and muddy. Not real big things and do not affect the game play at this field, but it is something they should look into getting fixed, maybe putting down a wooden deck or plywood. I have played days where it had not rained in months and the fields were rock hard, but the walkway out to the fields was ankle deep with mud. Kinda hard to enjoy yourself when you feet are soaked before you even start out your day.
But other than than Tanks is great, great prices and they usually have teams practicing their on Sunday's so there are always competitive games to be found.
