Review: The field is great! Owners and players are very nice. Hard to tell whos on your team. Should build a speedball field. Large number of players. This field you must go to if you haven't! Its open every Sunday so thats a plus. You only have to sign papers onece a year and the price to play is cheap. Paintball and Co2 are also cheap.

Review: The field is open on just sundays for open play. The owners are nice people and help you if you have a problem. The prices are great with 5 dollars to play and 35 for a case of paint. The paint is GREAT. Didn't chop a ball all day. All the players are fair and don't pray on the new guys. From talking to the owners it looks like the field is growing a lot every week.

Review: This is a very nice field. The prices are cheap an the staff is always willing to help you when you encounter a problem, they know alot about the gun have Ron knows what wrong and has a part to fit it. The field is nice, as the year goes by it seems as if both sides are becoming more equal, and one side inst favored. This week i went and it was the most people i have ever seen, when i went there last year there were a few but i think the field is catching on....now they have many players. If you want to have fun on a sunday tehis is the place to go!!

BYOP is a good thing.or its 45$ a case
drinks is free....i think
the people r very nice and helpful and dont charge u for maintnence on guns or w/e

Review: UPS: Brand new speed ball course. Food and drinks are now served. If your having a problem with your gun they will help as much as they can so you can play and have fun. People there are SUPER nice and will help you with whatever they can. IF you have any suggestions they really take them seriously and will consider them. If you have any problems wiht any one or something they will solve things in a quick and orderly manner.

DOWNS: Its still kinda small and is just getting started with the whole buisness thing so they dont have as many things as say POW or NVP but they are deff better than those places.

THIS PLACE IS SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review: The owners were very kind and helpful as were the other patrions. Usually you think that every field will have a few "bad eggs" but everyone there were very kind and social. I had a great time. The field (only one at this point) is kind of a mix between wood ball and speedball. Which means that every game can be a different experience! One game could be a very slow "stalking" game thru the woods and underbrush. And the next could be a huge battle. While talking to the owner he told me of his plans to make a speedball field and build a castle for senario play! The fee to play is very cheap and BYOP is always great. I will definatly be returning to this field in the future.

Review: I finally got a chance to play at Headhunters after hearing about it last year.
The owner and staff were courteous and helpful. It was very inexpensive to play (BYOP)!
There is only one field of play with barrels, small wooden bunkers and a mixture of trees and brush. I thought the field was setup well for strategic play.
I will definitely return to play again. Headhunters has a lot of potential to grow into an awesome place for playing paintball in WNY. I look forward to seeing new additions to the facility there.

Other Fields
in the Area:
I used to play only on priviate lands, with my close friends and my children.Due to the fact that i knew of no other fields in the area.
Directions
to the Field:
There is a road map to this field with excellent directions on his web site.
Review: Things i like about this course:
1. Safety is the number 1 priority,as it is a family oriented place.
2. I have always been impressed by the fact that manigment as well as "most of the players"( there's always some bad apples ) do not put up with. HORSE PLAY,FOUL LANGUAGE,UNSAFE PRACTICE'S AND ANY OTHER DISRESPECTIFUL BEHAVIOR!!!
3. Becoming a regular at this field, has afforded us new friendships, new skills, as well as teamwork, (and that's a fathers point of view.)
4. Playing with all the different age groups of people on this field, keeps every game as fresh as the first (meaning not playing against the same players every time)
5. It is a full service field, with clean rental guns, CO2, paint, knowledgable staff, refreshments, and most parts in stock(if not can be ordered), all at a resonable price.
6. You can bring your own equiptment, and including your own paint.
7. Place where I can trust to take my family for a day of entertainment.

Things that could be tweaked:
1. Even though they have cut down on camping there are still a few campers out there.
2. I agree with the previous review that there should be a time limit.
3. Seriously that's it!

Final thought:
I have seen this field vastly improve over the past two years, and I can't wait to see what this new season will hold!! I personally feel with the price of admission, that i can afford my whole family weekly, and know that we'll be safe!!

Directions

Review: stengths
------------
-low cost- get to play with a good amount of people for only $5 all day and $10 all day air
-bring own supplies- doesnt cost extra to byop and there is paint air and drinks for sale
-flexable- If people are there he is pretty much open all day. he is open to new ideas and is alway making positive adjustments to the feild like forts, bariers, paths, and extending the boundrys.

weaknesses
------------------
A big one is that there was no set time limit when i was last there. A time limit adds more stratigy and makes people take more dares instead of just sitting in the back hopeing to get a lucky shot. The refs would need to be able to answer if a player askes how much time is left so the player can ajust there game. To often you have one person that just hides in dense brush and doesnt move. It alright if they are moving and its sometimes fun to find the last "sniper" but, if your waiting 20min to find one person that doesnt even take one shot or move an inch, that is rediculous. Also there is sometimes a lack of comunication between the refs and they wind up calling the game early because they dont know how many players each team started with.

There is no tape or marking for all of the boundries. For example, the ditch that is the one side boundry the one end boundry, and the path that is the other side boundry. Are you alound in/on them? Just over them? Just before them? Sometimes when there are new players to the field they are not sure what the boundreis are. There should be some clarification or walking of the feild with them before the games begin.

I belive that the compresed air can only fill up to 2200psi. I use co2 so im not sure. correct me in the comments if i am wrong

The course is only one woods ball course. They are in the proses of expanding it to make it larger. They are in the making of a speedball course(barrels) too.

conclusion
---------------
All in all this field is a great place to play at. every time i go i have alot or fun. Each year it gets better and better. There are a few kinks to work out but that is only minor and easyly fixed. I highly recomed this feild to any recreational players that want a cheap place to go to get in some bigger games then just backyard games with friends. Good place to meet new people in the area that play and even find out people that you know and never knew played paintball.
