Review: this place rules.they have 3 airball courses, a woods course, and a village with a bunch of houses and a big castle in the middle of the field.if u live in carroll county or just visiting....this is the place to go. their refs play fair and its always fun. they have $40 gun rentals that come with a tippman, a mask, a tank, a hopper, and 500 rounds of paint. or u can purchase a $35 gun rental that comes with an impulse, mask, a tank, a hopper, but no paint.but if u bring ur own gun, its only $15 for all day play AND as much air as u want. thier paint isnt very expensive either. is as low as like $45 for a good case of paint. i started paintballin last year and ever since then ive been playin they atleast twice a month.its not expensive and its always fun cuz they get alot of buisness so the village games can get sooo big(i think its more fun that way). so if ur ever in the area then come down to paintball adventures park.

Review: I've played in a lot of places. Out of my experience I've never played at a better run field. The prices are outstanding, I was actaully able to leave after a day of playing hard and had money left over for dinner. The refs are great except for 1 or 2 but talking to the owner and the head ref they are being weeded out. The field set up is great you don't have to walk forever to get air or paint. The Air ball fields are close and safe for spectators to watch the action. I even hear they are adding a regulation x ball field soon. So I believe this is one of the best fields in MD if not the US but close.

Review: PAP is the best park around. The entry fee is 15 dollars and it includes all day air. They have 3 airball fields which they always rearrange which is cool, a village with a castle in the middle, and a woods ball which I dont like very much but others do. The refs are cool and only yell when they have to inforce safety. It can get a little crowded but it never overcrowds any games in airball. The prices are good---about 50 for a cae of 2000.

Wise Guys - reffing is a lot more fair; tournaments more fair as well
Romans - this place is a joke as well
1-shot - Just getting started
Review: Pros:

-All day play for $15 - BYOP
-The fields themselves are quite nice, good variety, good condition
-The fill stations are AWESOME
-Plenty of refs (see below)
-Well established field
-Home of the Nasty shocker/imp
-Lots of players, usually a game going at any given time
-Lots of shade, good parking, tables etc

Cons:

-Played a tournament there
1. We played the Dragons (2nd place IAO Amateur last year) played in our rookie/novice division. They swept every game, including 5 finals.
2. Heard a rumor that some of Bad Company was there was well within the teams
3. Refs know people, and associate with people, definetally biased - we didn't even have refs at some of the other teams side
4. One division was nothing less than a Nasty, the other had tigersharks and such
5. There were NO back stand ups, minus the 3-man field
6. Lot of refs not doing much
7. The PMI premiums would not break on some trees we shot after words...
8. (I noticed no problems, I think they had them on opposite fields, ie refs on 5 man, players on 3) Two teams of misfits were playing, and I know 3 players were reffing

-Normally:
Lot of refs not doing much
Lots of people - had a pack stolen
People were typically very sarcastic/arrogant on the phone

This is a good field as far as technological advancement, but they need new staff. I think it may be for sale?

Review: The greatest feature of this field is its price. $15 includes all day air. And you can bring your own paint.

Paintball Adventure Park has an assortment of fields. Some nice air courses and sweet woods. The lower woods course has a castle which either team can conquer. The refs give you 5 minute warnings when games are about to start. I like that, because you could choose which one to play unlike other fields where they send you to whichever spot is open. It can get crowded so don't be surprised if you have a 40 on 40 woods match.

The only negatives are the lines to pay when you first arrive. We waited for over a half an hour in line. The younger refs seem to favor their friends who are playing on the field. One even told the opposing team which air bunker I was positioned behind. My buddy called him out, but the kid shrugged his shoulders and kept giving them my position?

Overall a great day of paintball!

Review: This is the best paintball park that I have ever seen, it has a woodsball field, a villiage scenario type game, multiple airball fields, a speedball field, and an x ball field. You never get bored because of the variety of game play! Everyone who works there is friendly, and will help you whenever help is needed. This is by far my favorite field, and I will not play anywhere else!

Review: i played PB sportsland when i was so caled a "noob" and ever since i went a extra 10-20 min. on the road to get to PAP its been better days of paintballing...

PAP has all day air and entry all for 15 bucks and the paint there ranges from big balls at 42 bucks to pmi premiums for 45 to marb. for 60 to Evils at 70. now for a day of rec play i doubt ur gonan wanna spend 70 bucks on paint but wutever u prefer....

the owner there "oscar" is probably the friendliest feild owner he is real nice to new players and helps them out... he also makes private games if u request for a good family battle or wutever.

they hold real great tournys with real good teams and even real good prizes... i they gave out evil omens and evil paint and evil jerseys as a first place prize for one of there tourneys a while back...

they also have helpful revs u can just hangout with and talk to between games.

you can buy hamburgers and hotdogs there and theres soda machines the pro shop has a wide variety of stuff from jerseys to hoppers to squeegees and

they have a bunch of airball and speed ball fields and a bunch of village and woods feilds.

this place has made me get better and it is a great place

Review: Pricing:
$15 - Field Fee and all day C02 or air
$42-$70 - Case of Paint depending if you want Big Ball or Evil.
This park doesnt allow bunkering (kid got a small concusion).
Surrender rule of about 10 - 15 ft.
Has woods, great castle, and multiple speedball and airball fields.
Scenario games are normally $25 field fee (gets you lunch) plus you buy field paint (you buy it anyway) and you play constantly all day long.
Excellent tournaments with great prizes (im talking like impulses and stuff like that)
You will see a great class of paint ballers here (Johns Hopkins Team, All Americans, Nasty Impulse team).
It can be a little muddy but its all part of the game.
The refs and owner/staff are great people that are easy to get along with and are very helpfull.

Review: I have been to this field once and boy it was great ! I enjoyed it even though it was a little muddy but hey thats all part of the game !!! The staff was very friendly the owner was very nice a very good about getting with everyone to give use the run down on what to expect through out the day ! The castle was cool and the speed ball field is sweet then again this was my first field i have been to outside my woods where me and the boys get together to play ! The price was fair (not to much) and i was surprized that we could use our own paint ! The fee was $15 for all day play and air ,With compressed air and Co2 fill stations you cant beat this field for new players and old alike ! The staff was young but very nice to deal with and very safety focused for everyone there ! The little shop they had set up at the field was decent and the staff would help you or fix any problem you had or question that needed answered ! If it is your first time out to play this place is worth the drive and money for you and anyone who wants a change of pace ! Nothing really bad to say about it cause it was my first park and my rateing would be a ten but i need to get out more to see what others have to offer !

Review: I am a Rookie along with my 11 year old son, so finding a user friendly place to play was important to our learning process. We found the staff extremely friendly and courteous.

I'm only playing woods ball as I'm old and slow (47 years young), so it was nice to find most of the other rec players very friendly, fair and lacking ego's.

The ref's are very approachable and have shown to have excellent and fair control during the games. They uphold the safety rules, I saw them eject 3 teens from the park for shooting in the parking area.

They kicked me out of the game for bunkering someone and quite rightly so. It was a lack of experience on my part, in the heat of the game, I didn't realize what I had done until the ref screamed at me 'NO BUNKERING'. I appologized to the person and limped off with the tail between my legs as I was ejected. I learned a valuable lesson.

I would like to see a few more natural bunkers as opposed to the large wooden boxes, maybe they should cut a few of those in half to make them a little lower.

This isn't the closest field for me but so far with two very positive experiences, we'll be regular customers for a long time.
