GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!! Pops ( the owner ) is awsome. My brothers friend let my brother borrow his gun, but when he fired it it didn't work. We took it inside and asked for a rental and asked Pops to make sure that no one takes it. At the end of the day we came back in and he had fixed for us free of charge. He has great deals ( except for the price of paint ), but hey, with his deals he has to make money somewhere. If you have your own stuff it is only 5 bucks for the whole day. If you just want to try paintball its only 20 for everything, a gun, a mask, c02, and 100 paintballs. Since it was my birthday he gave me 100 free paintballs. If you're a kid and you bring your report card it's 50 free paintballs for every A+, A, or A-. The facility includes 6 fields, 3 speedball courses where I nailed my brother in the head while he was diving behind a baracade, a hill with a fort at the top, a village where I mostly enjoyed myself, and a woods area where you never know where your opponnet is. The staff is also really friendly. This place makes paintball twice as fun.
This is a great field for a whole day of paintball! its only 5 bucks for as long as u want to stay! and if u buy a marker from their shop u get a card that gives u free entry! the only marker they have in stock is the 98c.
THe first time i went there i brought about 3-4 friends with me. WE HAD A BLAST!
my favorite game is command and conquer in other words capture the fort on top of the hill. every game i would get out a least 4 people and that is good for a first day of paintball. i really recommend this place for noobs or people that need their problems fixed.
gator joes-never been but heard good things
This place is the SH*T!!! GREAT fields 8 fields total! an awesome Sup-air field, 4 speedball fields, 1 woods, fort field, and village field! Prices are the best around $55 for a case of big balls and if you buy their paint u get in for free! co2 and n2 both available! if u have a break they WILL fix ASAP!they rent out parahnas and tippmans good for rentals! Pops (the owner) the best man u will ever meet! great staff and refs that all play! They have a new field goin in soon! This IS the best in indiana. I went to orlando where an NPPL event was held and it dosnt compare! Pops has new and used markers for sale and he gives u a lifetime shop warranty on it and u get in for free for life! and if u have to pay for the field fee its only $5.I always playing at SSS one time and i ripped out the sewing on my pack (dont know how) and "speedy" a great player and worker at SSS let me use his JT pack for FREE! I LOVE THIS FIELD IF U ARE A REAL PAINTBALLER IN SOUTHERN INDIANA U WILL TRY THIS PLACE OUT!

I never knew this field existed till some people invited me to play and now it is the only place i like to play. Pops is a great owner who treats everyone beginners and pros the same. He is very friendly and helps out even on the little things (like not knowing how to turn up the velocity on your gun, hey it was my first time.) He has 6 fields that i know about, a woods, 3 speedball, a fort like thing, and a combat town. i tend to stay near the speedball and combat town. The combat town is laid out in a way that you don't have to have a $1000 setup to get an advantage and is great when you play 4 or more people on a team. The speedball courts are fun, but we mainly use then for 1 to 3 people per team. The shop has good gear and fair prices on most things, he carries a lot of high quality items, which makes it good if you need something in a hurry. If you don't have a gun, you can select between piranhas, spyders, and tippman 98's( i am pretty sure never rented one of those), and it is only $15 dollars, that also includes field charge and 100 balls, which i don't think is too bad. I would recommend anyone to play there.
Its the only field in my area and i live in Kentucky. Its really a great field they have the city numerous speedball fields and a fort kinda thing. Its only 5 dollars for the whole day. They have food their which is really nice. You can get all kinds of tanks filled co2,nitro,and hpa. Paintballs are a little exspensive but its quality paint. The rental guns aren't high quality but it gets the job done. They have shaded resting areas which is very nice after a long match. But over all a great field.
I've only played in the woods around Evansville n Silver spurs the only field I've played in and it makes me not wanting to go to any other fields!
Silver Spur is probably one of the best fields out of so many others out there, the field fee to get in is really really cheap which is only 5 dollars per person. The paint there is really expensive but it's also really good paint, I usually bring my own but I do buy it from pops if i run out or the ones I bring keep bustin in my gun. Pops is really nice and the service is great and so is the food. If you have problems with your gun and you dont know how to fix it then Pops could probably fix it for you for free the first time, he often makes you pay for it because he fixed my gun like 3 times in one day. The customers there are really cool, I usually play with them when I get bored with playing my friends and their usually a great competition. And sometime there's pro's there that will play with you, I played with one there and I got killed. It was a lot of fun playin with him. The fields there are really great, especially the fort, it's my favorite field there. I have the most fun on that field it's the best when it's 4 on 4. The town is my second favorite there, it's really big and it's got the woods and bunkers all in one field. The Sup-air field looked like it was a lot of fun but I never got to play in it, I only saw it twice but I didn't have their paintballs to play in it so i just watched the pro's play in it. They also have a lot of speed ball courses which i dont usually play in because i usually have a lot of people with me and i dont like playing in speed ball with a lot of people but yea it's definitely has great fields n people there. I played my first scenario there and it was like the coolest thing ever and I'm definitely going there again in spring. So if you ever get a change to go there then I would definitely Go because after the first time you go there then you'll probably want to go there again!! oh yea...and i would bring my own gun if i were you cuz it would really suck if you didn't so go barrow from a friend or something. But if you didnt bring one you could always use ur report card and get 50 paintballs per A but that's only if you rent a gun.
SSS is awesome. Pops is super friendly and the courses are great. I love the woods, but wish there was another woods course, or the one a bit bigger. The town scenario is one of my favorites, and is HUGE. I like playing 4 on 4 on that field. Capture the fort is really cool but somewhat impossible with snipers at the top. I give this field a 10. They sell EVIL, Marbilizers, Big Balls, and RPS Paintballs, prices are reasonable, however if you have to rent a gun, good luck...they are about the equivilant to Walmart type guns, but if your gonna play, have your own...
I've played them all & Silver Spur is still the best.
I do allot of traveling playing tournaments at different fields. Of all the fields I ever played, Silver Spur has to be the best over all in fields & field lay out. Instead of having to walk a mile to one field & across the road to another, Silver Spurs fields are layed out side by side for easy access.
When I'm not busy running a store here in Kentucky or playing tourneys, I always try to make the trip to Silver Spur(kinda like a vacation. lol). Great people, great fun, & great competition. Oh, & great food too.
Moved from California and tried this field. Excellent field and staff are great. Best scenario games in the area too without driving for hours. "Pops" is a great owner and person. He knows his stuff and will often fix your stuff for free and with a joke on the side. Fields are very well maintained and laid out with more I heard to come. He now has a Sup-Air field that is outstanding. Powder coding and anodizing are also offered. The sponsored teams are great with excellent guys to help even the newbies. (very impressed) California your never see that from the average tourney player. This place rocks!
Duffy's paintball.......personally, i dont care for the owner, duffy. and up until about a week or so i could care less for anyone who went there, but i did however have a good experience with one of his main guys, ted, and we're cool now...but silver spur is STILL the place to go if you want the challenge, experience, youth, fun, and just good ole day of paintball!
Its a great place to play in all aspects of the game, whether your a woodsballer, speedballer, scenario player, or tournament level competitor. on the woods fields, theres hills, bunkers, weeded field, brush, thickness, open areas, big trees, little trees, its got it all. for the scenario players theyve got a capture the fort field where one team starts at the bottom of the hill and advances up the hill to "capture the fort"....theres a town with 35 8 by 8 and 10 by 10 buildings with windows, some has doors cut out, some just have 3 sides and a huge courtyard in the middle. and for all you speed ballers, its got 3 fields just for u, a hyper ball field made of tubes with a snake on one side and the infamous "funky bunker" on the other, a wood field with 5, yes i said 5 standups right smack dab in the middle of the field, and a spool field with a snake on it. all the fields feel like ur playing on a golf course the ground is so fine.
