I've been to extreme a few times and i like it better and better each time i go. In comparison with TPZ you get to play more games then the other ones in the area. I played 15 games in one day there. The refs are very friendly and can help you with just about any problem you have. They are also very safe and enforce their rules well. Overall its a great field and i recommend that if you live in there area to try it out.

This field has everything, 3 speedball fields, a large recreation field (rec.), and a field they call the J.T. field but i hate the j.t. field because it has a lot of blind spots and you could litterally run to the 50 off the break and not get shot. The prices are not bad but the field should put in more bathrooms all they have is 2. Overall I give the field a 7 not the best but one of the greatest fields i've been to.

-the field is great, MANY MANY different fields
-their hyperball fields are fantastic, if you go, you MUST try out as many of these fields as you can
-the refs are great, they know how to appreciate their guest
-they sure know how to pull one hell of a scenario game together
-the airball is a little weak, but i dont like airball anyways
-well theres a cow smell, but that shouldnt ruin your day, its not the field's fault
surely you must go there at least once in your life
the field was alright everything was fine. the refs are alright but they don't no how to keep control of the people that are out. I got shot in the back by some kid who was out. the net basses they have work fine. the only bad spot on the field has a big puddle of water covered by weeds, I went right through it it went up to my knees. the cost isn't so bad either . GO TO THEY'RE WEBSITE AND GET THE 411
Paintball Zone(back a few years ago), Paintball Jungle, Sherwood Forrest Paintball
It was a perfect day for some balling and Extreme Paintball was a great place to spend it. I was surprised to see such a large turnout and all ranges of experience levels. The prices were more than fair and they filled 4500 all day for cheap. But that was the end of being impressed. They claimed to have 5 or 6 fields but we only got to play 2. The rec field was alright but my socks were completely filled with burrs and stickers from the overgrown field, there were way to many players and too few refs, and the games seemed to take an hour. Over all pretty slow. Then there was the LONG breaks between games (too much sitting around between) and then another rec game...... argh...... Do we get to use a speedball field?? I think that we played 4 speedball games out of the 15 we played all day.
So, if you are looking for slower paced rec games and long breaks between then this place was perfect. If you want adrenaline pumping speedball action go else were. I will go again but I'll have more realistic expectations.
Paintball Zone-Waterford-SLOW as HELL between games
Crossfire Paintball-Manteca-Not enough fields to choose from but nice airball field!
This was the first field I ever played on and its a place where I hold many fond memories and have alot of real nice experienced friends. I havent played at too many other fields because it is defintltey the best in the area in terms of the service, friendly, prices, atmosphere, the speed of which they get the games rotating, safety and number of players. The field has a perfect safety record and they inforce the rules strictly so expect to come and have a nice, fun, safe experience without having to worry if your going to get shot in the back of the head by some kid waving his unplugged barrel around all day. The prices are some of the best in California for the self-equipped player as well as renters. The markers for rent are great preformers (Tippmann 98 Customs) and are chronoed before you even get out to the field. The place definitley has something for players of all ages and skill levels. Whether its your first time or if your a seasoned vet the place has something that will fit your interest and the players and reffs mix up the teams after each game so you really see all the aspects and personalities of the sport. This place brought me into this great sport and helped me grow into the player I am today. I dont like to think where I would be without the help of the staff there and my constant use of their various fields. Im now happy to be a part of the staff down here and to be able to give back to the community of players what they gave me when I first began. To sum this all up...THIS FIELD ROCKS!!!! I couldnt give it anything less than a 10. See you there!!
The Paintball Zone-Very rec. oriented, but some excellent property and field set-up. Holds tournaments every month and big games pretty often.
TAAG- Been there only on big game days, which are awesome. 100+ people showed both times and the owner is a great guy whos in it for the fun, not to get rich.
Been to this field over ten times, and never had a crappy experience. The prices are good, and you get the same kind of performance for the same money each time. Dependable games and the refs seem happy, which translates to a better time for you. They offer paint, 3000/4500 air fills, rentals, lunch/snacks, and have a shop affiliated, but it's off site.
Good value and its a solid bet you'll have a good time consistently. It is mostly speedball type fields with one large recball field that really never gets old because of its valley-like layout. Even those who prefer woodsball can enjoy the large speedball layouts that are changed often over the year, it seems.
Warnings- rain usually isn't a problem, even if it is falling while you're there. But long periods of rain can turn the fields into a muddy H*ll so maybe reconsider if that is the case.
Also the refs have been snotty or uncaring, usualy when the owner isn't around. Just remind them who is paying who and you can usually get the service you expect, like the last air fill of the day before you leave.
Overall a solid dependable field with enjoyable terrain whatever your preference. I give it a solid 9. (9.5 if there was such a button.)
Great field! Excellent staff. They definitely get in there and do paint checks as stated before. I liked the 3 hyperball fields, red/black Xball field, and one large rec field. They also had a 3 on 3 field out the day I was there. But the pros were practicing on it. I played a lot of games the day I was there. It seemed like they were great about turn around times. I hate waiting around for games to start. The staging area is tented for shade. A must visit.
paranoid, rankin, cvp, and everything else is pretty far away from extreme
This place is pretty sick..................the hyperball fields were fun, a little too big for my taste but they were still fun................ nice rec field so ther was no newbie interference during practice................the airball was kinda cheezy but really good practice because of the small and tight bunkers....................they also got an x ball field up and running where you can watch, meet or even play with teams like TKO, LA Ironmen>>>>>>(im not sure if there still together) and many others.....................
Positives:good fields and competition, chill atmosphere, friendly> helpful and hot staff, well organized for its size
Negatives:if its not the wet season the ground gets super hard and rough........................
I hate portapotties but what can you do you know.
Overall: its an awsome place to play for tourny and rec players
This place is awsome. There are three speed ball feilds, one big rec feild, and a five and the ten man airball feild. they also recieved a new x ball feild which should be cool and a 5 man airball feild. Check the website for prices. They have rentals, mostly tippmans with nitro, but they also have spider shutters and 1 or 2 black dragons for rent. They also have spare parts such as o-rings and those things. the foods good (thanks eddie, steph and edds sis) and expect to see lots of pros on certain days. Definitly come out during a tourny,(especially if extreme is hosting) cause ther is a good chance that you'll get free stuff. newbies are welcomed here. usually when their is enough people they are split into two groups advanced and beginner, but you get to choose which group you want to go to. some reffs aren't afraid to give paint checks, especially me, I should know since I reff there too. So come out and try the place for yourself. Some rfs aren't good though, they just don't that much paint checks.
