I went here with my freinds as a reward for getting straight A's the feilds were awesome
the people were nice safety was their primary option I really really loved it the owner named lance was a cool guy he told us the basics how to do stuff and just grab a new mask when we needed it, my freind got a little upset when he got yelled at though when he got his gas filled with his safety on then the ref turned off the safety and gave it back to him when he ACCIDENTLY ok accidently hit the trigger luckily he had his barrel bag on but then lance yelled if that woouldve hit me you guys would be outta here!!!
we went quiet and walked away a little mad at him because it was the refs fault not his
then the SAME ref thurned my others freinds pressure way up it chronod like 316 or something and my freind shot me on the feild... and it hurt really really badly all the other refs were great and cooperative
I give this feild an 8 of 10
-1 because my freind got upset for getting yelled at
-1 for stupid ref that got me hurt AND him introuble
The APC outdoor field. There really arent a lot of fields in this area.
Even though I have never been to any other Pball field, I can say with confidence that APC has got to be among the best, if not the best, field in Colorado. The staff is actually rather small, which is cool because you get to know each other on a first name basis. For example the Field Manager Lance has been around helping my dad and I since we started paintballing, and is still there to help us even in our decked out Jerseyness. The rest of the staff is also really friendly and Tony is a great guy. The only downside to the field is that the paint is a little bit on the low quality side, or at least it is when I'm there, although last time they were using Diablo. It would also be nice if their indoor had a BYOP (bring your own paint) day like their outdoor, it gets really expeinsive playing there, but "that's the game."

Other Fields in the Area:
I got something to say to sneaky smurf. Why you saying stuff about apc? You know it's a great field and if you don't like it don't go back. Tony, (my uncle) is probably the nicest guy you'll ever meet, so what the heck are you talking about saying he's mean? Second, we don't use that crappy paint that you were talking about I work ther so I know first hand that we use mostly Draxxus. Finally, the refs are great we try as hard as we can to keep you on the field and make it as fun as possible. Just wanted to get that out there and let everyone know that everything he said on that review was a lie. It's a great place and so if you really want to have a good time go to APC.
let me start out saying this field was great. The speed ball field was amazing. the floor is like a mattress u can just and slide with ease. The senrio field was great too but the dirt on the floor sometimes gets in the barrel. The prices are reasonable and the staff is awesome. I taLKED TO THE guy in charge FOR LIKE AN hour about paintball. I did 1 on 1 for 3 hours with my cuz and it was a blast. I didn't rent but the rental guns are tippman 98 customs which is sweet for newbies. Its even more fun with groups. Because we were the only ones there the guy let us play wat ever rules we wanted. Cap the flag, deATH match, resurrection, and even non stop battle( if u get shot ur still in) If theres something wrong with ur gun they will fix it instantly. they fill nitro too. Over all this place is awesome. Next time i go to Denver im going twice. SEE U THERE!
Ive played at every are-ya in Colorado and this is defiantly top 5
I love the staff their assume defiantly the nicest paintball people in Colorado their were no buckering rules and that was a good and a bad thing if you now wat i mean small but good place. they had a speed ball course (think it was jt) and an urban filed this filed is assume except for the fact that theirs this sand dirt stuff that gets stuck to every thing and on this field it was extremely dark the day i was their i hope they just did int have the lights on. Day of play was 10/23/05
OOOHH MAAN, i love this field! I've never played anywhere else but i still think it's the best. Everyone's really nice and helpful. The team guys are really cool, i've heard that at other places, they're mean and cocky, but at the coliseum, thay're really cool and give you tips and stuff. There's two fields, a scenario and an x-ball field. The scenario field is really cool. The teams usually use the x-ball Field, but they let you play with them if you want. All in all, this place rocks!
I like APC because there is usually not too many people there. You can bring several friends and have tournaments and one v. one games. This doesn't happen at Shutdown just cause of all the people. Also, the air field is the only one i like at APC but it's really easy to slide on the turf and it's got a good set-up. At SXP the Ref's are a lot better and really friendly whether you're a noob or an amateur. At APC, they don't really have a Ref except for their tournaments. I APC's air-ball field better than SXP plus the tournaments are all on the air ball at APC. All in all, i like both fields but i prefer APC because of the crowd, there isn't as many people.
I went to there outdoor field and had a blast! There was a b day party there so that was cool and not to mention the....well not lack of cover. For crying out loud they had a silo in there! Awsome!! The only down side was that the inflatable speed ball field was down and so was the hard cover speedball. A employee was supposted to fill the bunkers but he didnt want to so thats why and the net was all torn up so we couldnt use the hard course. But I was happy with the back fields. Oh and another prob. is that the neighbor cant keep his cows in. There is cow patties in random places. I slide in one.......that sucked. Also beware of the cow pattie farmers. 2 of them were fixing the fence and walked right into the middle of the game to talk to the owners. Retards!!!! I almost popped on in the face cause i was bunkering someone! But other than that this is a awsome place.
I went to there indoor field and still had a good time. Toni is super cool and they fix anything that goes wrong with your gun. And even though there are no refs on the field, their off the field for some reason, Toni is really big about the one shot bunker rule so you dont get lit up and close range. If you go during a team tryout day they will put you on the field as soon as possible to get you playing. I got a chance to play on the outdoor Xball field and it is so much fun!!! It has real nice grass(astro turf kinda stinks and has no grip when its filled with paint) and is big!!! Only thing I didnt like was the hyper ball field at the indoor. Way way way to dark. A few more lights would be a welcome comfort.
After doing a little bit of shopping I found that the paint used here runs for about 22-30 bucks a case from walmart!!!! I mean i understand insurance is expensive but I got 500 rounds of premium for the same price as 500 rounds of field grade from ballistics paintball supply.

never played at a different place in the CO area... im from NC
went there on a wedsday afternoon... no one else was there so it was perfect for taking my little brother and sister there... both 11 years old... i took along 2 high end markers there but didnt take along a HP tank tried to borrow one for the games but he didnt have one for me to use... they use CO with thier rental markers... so we took 3 markers and 2000 rounds and had a blast... the x ball field was nice though it could have been cleaned from the day prior there was paint on the bunkers and alot of shells on the ground... but that's ok... the ground was soft turf.... we then tried the other field made with dirt... it was fine... but the xball was better... had to refill one marker after 30 or so shots... but that's ok...
the owner was nice and helpful... turned on the ac when we were at the field... he also sat there with the kids and gave them pointers when they were playing agenst me... and got me shot up too! the kids learned quick on how to play which he helped teach... thanks...
the one thing that i didnt like was the price there... for 3 people with 3 rentals and 2000 balls it was 140 dollars... he gave me 15 off that price... so that was nice...
i give this 8 because of the price.... but given the price was brought down and you have to use field paint... i would be giving this a 10
I dont walk aroundign talkign smack of paintball fields but this oen really makes me mad. The owner is really mean and cept making comments about how 1 year olds shoudln't have e-cockers regargless of age division or skill and hen i asked him about it he said he had no problem with it. all in all it was a bad enivrnment
though liekd the new x-ball ball field made a great day of aggresive well thougth out play and the refs a little bit biased but i being a reff myself no i do it too. the rec field was a little shabby and lightiningneeds work.
The paintballs ($65) was zap primer and is by far the worst paitn I have ever used for that price. though it was tough shell the fill was like water and bouncing very commen
all in all the field was ok the x-ball feild in all its glory out weighted by my terrible experiance. Mayeb I ahd a bad day but it was still a bad time
