well i went to this field for the first time and hated it. i went and they staff were total pricks (making fun of my gun) and stuff like that. The fields were ok. i liked the way they were set up but the bunkers were not stable at all. plus the fact that the bunkers would be kicked over by someone touching it. The saw dust was the worst part. slipping and sliding, and i would break my tail-bone trying not to smash my gun to bits. It was really bad. but since then they got an air-ball field and the staff has been "nicer" if thats wut u call it. They worst part is that you have to fill out a waiver every time. they don't have a computer to store it in so u have to bring one in every time. and then at their website you can print one of but when i did that i got yelled at b/c i was supposed to bring my parent in so that they could be a witness of the signature. it totally sucked but the only reason i go there is because it is close. im giving it a 3 b/c of the crappy staff and bad field design the only good part about the place is that they always have people there so u don't have to worry about it. even tho i haven't been anywhere else i would recommend going there before this place.
This place really does suck. It has bad fields with saw dust floors that you slip and slide on like none other. Under it is nice soft CONCRETE to break you a$$ i mean fall. The bunkers are really bad. One time i was hiding behind a tube and i knocked it over and imediately got shot. The reffing is terrible. The stupid guy that runs the place just said go and left. Luckly it was just me and some friends and one of their dads was there to ref us. I dont recommend this place to anyone unless you are desparite. The only good thing is that it is open 7 days a week so you dont have to wait till the weekends. I give it a three just because it is open on the week days and it has a nice store.
I don't know why so many people gave this field such bad reviews. Everyone seemed pretty cool and the Refs were not at all snobby like the people in the other reviews say. They put down plenty of sawdust and i didn't hurt my legs hardly any. There is allot of good competition . My team even met a really cool team that lives where we live and we are setting up games now. The field is a little dirty but thats what you get with any indoor field. All around i thought this was a great field especially on snowy days and i give it a 8.
I usually play a PBA and i wanted to try something diff. I ended up trieng here because of a birthday party. Ughh the field is horrible. It is slippery because of sawdust that covers concrete. If you slip you smash a part of your body into the ground. I recconmend pba over this . Save your money., Try somewhere else.
i have been to APC twice now and this is what ive seen
Pros:
Two nicely sized fields with well thought out bunkers
A nice and complete pro shop with what seemed to be a knowlegable staff
Good variety of skill level from newb to tourny players
Cons:
Cocky staff who treated you like crap if you werent a regular tourny player
Horrible sawdust flooring, i slipped about 6 times
Really trashy building with no restrooms
Hard to find location
Conclusion:
The admission is 15$ and paint is 65$ a case (both are reasonable)
The staff thinks you are worse than scum unless you have a 2000$ gun which is ridiculous
Slipping on the floors so much left me sore for two week
Fields are nice but floors and horrible staff make this place not woth going. I will not return
Sports warehouse (Longmont), Mainstream (Lafayette), a lot of out door fields, legal and outlaw.
Review:
Well I will start by saying that I went in with an bias after reading so many bad reviews on this place (from what I seen deserved). But we were down in Denver checking stores for our guns and my buddy says lets stop in at this place, I did not tell him of the reviews i just agreed lets go! We pulled up to what looked like a run down ready to collapse building. But we had come this far lets go on in. ( set both alarms on truck double check all locked up, back window locked) because this place is in a real unsafe neighborhood! We walk in to the pro shop to a quick "Hello" I thought hey not bad pretty friendly at first but when my buddy asked Frank the manager about a couple of guns on the wall thats when I started to see the Frank I had read about. He asked me what gun I had in my case? Well I was so excited that I had just the day before received my brand new DM4 after waiting a while for it I burst-ed out with pride " Its a DM4 Dude I just got it"
Now anyone with a ounce of class are a gram of knowledge would hav e said " cool nice gun" are even " well do you like it" but know not Frank. He says " Wow sucks to be you Im sorry" This is 20 sec after I met him i Said " You MUST BE Frank I have read about you" From there he went on to insult myself my buddy our home field and just about anything he could think of to insult. I own a very successful Business in Longmont and I know how important "the People Are" in any successful business and Im sorry but this place DOES NOT!!!
Anyway I checked out the fields and they were great fields but until Frank and the entire staffs attitude changes I will never be back! and nether will allot of other people I have talked to about this field who also have been there and had same problems!

As a member of team SitRepRed, a tactical scenario team out of the greater Denver area I have had the opportunity to play at many of the fields here in Colorado. Our team admits that we play primarily outdoors on long courses. We decided that we wanted to check out the closer atmosphere presented at APC. We were taken back at first but quickly learned the courses. For us it was a great opportunity to use the tactics we deploy everywhere we go. The staff there was more than willing to try to create a competitive day that was indeed fun for all. Half of the battle is in recognizing that there are always different levels of players out there every day. The staff at APC did everything they could to make sure that it was a fun, safe, competitive day for all involved. Since then we have been back several times just to see that the atmosphere even gets better. They are all friendly and seem to have genuine concern that when people spend money there they have a great time. On a scale of 1-10 I would give it an 8. The only reason being I have to stick to my roots ( love having my A** in the grass).... That might change with the opening of their outdoor course. To anyone that reads this.... Tony and crew have a great thing going there. Give it a try... Its a blast.
Hope to see you there,
Sierra2

Good fields one recballer and one tourny field, very good pro shot with all kinds of paintball things from the small stuff to the very expensive stuff and they had co2 and HPA fills, the floor was a little slippery but all paintball fields are, very good experince. We had a very good time and will be going again soon. Thanks
I hated this place -- for one simple reason. Slippery concrete floors with sawdust as the only covering. Why is that bad? Because you get sawdust stuck to every inch of your clothing, your mask, yout gloves, your gun, your hopper. It gets everywhere. There are too many other indoor fields around to waste your time with a sawdust floor. I went with a group of 13 people -- and we all had pretty much the same feeling after an hour or two. It's not worth it. On the north side of town, go for Main Stream Paintball in Lafayette. Much better place.
I thought APC is a pretty nice place to play for a day....
Not many people like the sawdust floors, but i dont really mind it, it gives cushion so u can run and slide and it really helps....
It does kinda get boring since there are only 2 fiels, but if there are not alot of people, its pretty fun.
The staff is very cool! they do whatever they need to help you....
Even though they say the will make u play "Rubber Duckie" (you have to run across the field and everyone gets to shoot you) and having you tand up against the wall and everyone gets to shoot you if u forget your mask or barrel plug, they r just messing with you.....
Overall, nice and friendly, fun, and just a great place to be on the weekends...
and their proshop isnt overpriced, and they will help you with anything you need.
