im used to the fast pased feilds of speedball but to finally get out and go woodsballing was a very nice change, although my attitude for woodsball could be better during my time there i had an overall good time.
-alot of feilds to play, many acres of open land
-free food and juice
-great pro shop for tippmans only
-helpful staff friendly
-alot of peple to play with
-animals around and get shot
-poor speedball feild
-slightly expensive paintballz
-unbalanced bunkers on feild (favoured starting bunkers)

-free food (hot dogs and juice, it's not great but hey, it's free)
-ton's of different fields from small speed ball, to wide open and long
-fair prices if you've got your own gun
-friendly and helpful staff
-can play there all year round, as they've just got their winter paint and camo in
-the animals that are around sometimes get on the field, kinda annoying
-more then one occansion I've gotten stuck with this crappy old paint
-not the cleanist place around, but then again, this is paintball
All in all, one of my favourite fields around. Huge selection of rentals and the big game days are really cool. I'd give it an 8 overall.
Capture the Flag Indoor - Horrendously dirty, with holed-up bad bunkers and dirt for floor. Pro shop is horribly overpriced. A few of the staff members need to be a bit more courteous to their customers.
I have yet to go to Rampage or MR's fields.
- A lot of playing fields and space. There's one nice speedball field (you'll notice it driving in, it's made of tires).
- Funny dogs and cats that greet you when you drive in the parking lot and when you're eating one of the free hot dogs at the staging area. Be careful not to go too fast driving in and hit one of them :P.
- Nice staff. Larry's a good guy and him + his staff will always make sure you're properly geared up and out playing some good paintball.
- Vet rates are alright. $10 field fee and 5 cents a ball.
- Rental rates are too expensive. See them at 'www.capturetheflag.com'.
- Lots of horse poop on the ground in late spring/summer. Can't really blame them, this place is built on a ranch. A herd of llamas actually ran through and stopped in the middle of our field one time when I was playing. LOL!
- Needs more speedball fields.
Not a bad place overall! I like the atmosphere and the friendly people you meet there. Nice place to go out and spend a day of outdoor paintball.

paintball zone (both old and new location), bush rec ballmostly
From the moment i visted capture the flags website i was excited to go, and the field did not disapoint. the staff was curdious and helpfull, the free food was great and the fields were awesome. The whole place is sub divided down into smaller fields of verious sizes, theres a field or two for every type of paintballer. ther is both hardcore speed ball fields, to spacious woods ball areas, and a half dozen field that fit somewere inbetween. The fields are well built for the most part and about the only thjng i didn't like about the fields was the presence of local farm animals... and on some fields, the "evidence" of there passings.
With good far prices and a good set of fields, i would recomend capture the flag to anyone in the area
hmm well i gota say this is a great field they have 12 courses a pretty good proshop and a really great staff,
they have fields like tire town which is really fun and good for snipers cause of the towers they have there, they have this hill which is great for defend and attack it outlined with bunkers, they have a bus level also good for defend and attack, and they have really good prices bring a 50 that usally covers 300 rounds and a basic gun if you have your own gear i believe you get a vet price 10 bucks to get in and 5 cens a ball and if not decent then great paint.
Also they have a scenario day every now and then hosted but the vet team team peon
i give it a 9 because it isnt perfect there a some thing i dont like hmmm i cant think of any thing really besides cheaters but really nothing you can do about that
bragg creek paintball, rampage paintball, paintball zone, capture the flag (indoor)
This is a great field with many, many fields to play on so your group almost always has their own area. there are large woodsball courses, a tire speedball course, and another large tire course with sniper towers. 110 acres make up 12 fields so you're never on the same field more than once, if you don't want to be. the only problems that i have with the field are that there is no airball (minor), there's quite a bit of dead branches and other things to trip you up while running (painful), if you don't have your own equipment your wallet is pounds lighter then b4 you came in, and there is a bunch of horse crap on quite a bit of the fields. other than those problems i find CTFO one of the best fields in the area and a great place to play. also don't worry about a lunch because hotdogs and crystal drinks are free all day, every day. if you're living in the calgary area or just visiting, i highly recomend this field to you.
CTF Outdoor is the largest field in the area bar none.
They have an excellent field with lots of diversity ranging from heavy woods, to open rolling hills which can make for some good play.
They have a large rental gun pool of over 200+ guns which means you can take all your friends out playing. Nobody else has that kind of numbers.
Staff is good, and willing to help you out with anything you need.
Free hotdogs and drinks are a nice plus.
The big games usually bring out large crowds of players.
Some of the downsides of this field
The fields in the past have been not so good, but in the last year they have made some great improvements in the fields. Huge efforts have been made to clean up and reorganize the fields and it really shows.
Prices are a bit on the high side for the once or twice a year player, but for those that don't know signup for a vet membership if you have your own gear and get cheaper paint.
CTF outdoor is my regular field and i'm glad that things have been shaping up to get better and better. With a little more effort I think they can become one of the best fields in Canada.
The field here is by far the best managed field around. the landscape is great, and out of the way (just enough to be remote)
The only problem here is harry tends to be a money grabber... everything costs something, no exceptions.
If you can steer around that, or put up with them, then this field has it all... from the speedball cousres to good woodsball courses that are large and have good vegetation.
I like the fact that you are able to control your own game style. The amount of terrain is awesome. I believe this field has great potential to be the best field in the area. But there are minor things that could make it better. If some of fields had a bit more diversity in their setup. I am sure there would be many people willing to volunteer in helping. CTF would have to start planning to financially to accomplish this. The customer service is great, and i fully support them.
I gave them an 8 only because i feel the actual field's quality could be better and layout could be better. (Rampage is small but has a nice field layout for the bush and decent quality for the town as an example. Construction and layout)
