Flag Raiders, Renagade, Revolution, Shot To Splatter.
When You 1st see the field from the outside you already know that its going to suck. It looks like a group of teenagers took over an old school with view loader Orins. Yes the kind you buy at Wal-Mart.
Once you go in you see a lounge area were you "Lounge", i dont know what its for but its pretty stupid and irralavent seeing how just looks to a wall and not even on to the field. But thats besides the point. I went up to the cashier and I asked him the pricing. $25 + tax for a walk on with the Rental equipment That wasnt so bad so I asked him what if i have my own Gear then what? Same Price and 90 paintballs, uh okay then.
Paint sucks, rental equip sucks, "pro shop" sucks, field is gravel whos dumba$$ idea was that? No electic markers, no more then $500 for a case (2000rnds) of Paint and nothing more then idoits running the place. Oh and wow are the people who work there suck and cheat. Me and buddies were playing a few of them and I saw my friend shoot him in the Mask, I saw the paint explode and everything but guess what he came back out from the bunker to snap shoot at my buddie with a CLEAN MASK!!! Where did the paint go man? Oh I see it never it you? I came from his side and lit him like a New York after a Balck Out then he limped off the field, moron.
Dont ever go here to waste your money if you want to waste money just it to my PayPal account at least I wont give you paint the looks like a mini-Football.
Horrible refs there very mean >:(
Extremly dirty i lean against a wall it looks like ive been shot 10 times
Gravel.... gravel sucks u cant slide and its even hard to run in it sometimes
Rental guns suck so much....
I can think of more cons but it would go on way to long just dont to to this place u can go to a better one for cheaper unless u want to shoot up alot of little kids
As someone who pays at the arena on almost a weekly basis, I would have to say that the person who posted previous to me was totally write about this field being great.THe person before him had to have been full of himself or something. He couldn't have known much about paintball because the pro-shop don't carry spiders. The pro shop has piranha's and tippmans, and in the counters they have everything that you could possible need to fix anything. The paintballs are 10$ for 90 so that they can charge you an even 10$ instead of like 11.75, in case you didn't know us people who live on earth have to pay taxes on mostly everything. I don't mean to be mean to this kid because he couldn't no what he was talking about but someone who chops a great field down just doesn't no too much about paintball. If anyone has any comments to say to me then my email is: email@example.com P.S. Im sure that mostly everyone else who had played this field would have to agree with me, oh and also the rental are Titans and they are very good, and reliable...

Now I don't realise what everyone is so worked up about. This is a great little field. I bought a four month pass and it's dirt cheap to go.
-Helpful / knowledgable / friendly staff.
-Friday's paint is half price and thats when the more experienced players come out.
-Excellent set up of bunkers/obstacles.
-Roomy lobby/staging area.
-Viewing lounge with couches and other cushy furniture.
-If you have a problem they help you right away.
-Costs an arm and a leg without membership.
-Go any other day but Friday and it's noobzilla.
-Great, non-rap music.
I give this place a 9/10. Don't listen to the turkey's who bad mouthed this place. Give it a try and make your own decision.
first off this feild sucked. IF you go onto their site the pictures of the feild are when they first made it and without the gravel it looks horrible now.I wasn't allowed to use my marker because it had an Electronic trigger. That is the worst i have ever seen! also it cost 10.00 for 90.00 balls. THats is total bull. Their pro shop is nothing but a bunch of counters with crap in them nothing usefull. No macroline or anything that would be needed they only had spyders and tippmans as guns in stock. The staff wasn't friendly at all. The refs were not helpful. You would get shot and you would be calling for a paint check and they wouldn't come. Some of the refs were even standing behind the netting reffing from there. Total bull. They only have one feild and it is like a woodsball feild. There are no angles on anything. WOrst feild i have ever played at. Total waste of my money and my time. The rentals were these little guns called like "t" something i forget but very bad. The feild was made of gravel and was very slippery but you couldn't slide on it. It hurt way to much the feild was discusting the feild looked like it was never cleaned or anything. There was no traction. I was using cleats and i could even get any traction i just kept slipping it was ghey! Worst feild i have ever been too. THe feild i usually go to is much smaller but way better. THe prices are actually reasonable. This by far was the crappiest feild i have ever gone to DO NOT GO! i would actualy give this feild like a - 10 but i can't put it on so my real rating would be -10/10
WARNING: THIS WAS THE WORST FIELD THAT I HAVE EVER GONE TO IN MY LIFE! EXPIRENCED PLAYER BEWARE! FEILD PRICES SUCK.

This field is awsome, especially the prices. It is 11 cents a ball, but if you want to buy a case, its only 220$$, WOW!!! That is the best price i have ever seen. I usually only go with 55 cents in my pocket, i use a tippman super special sniper edition with 32" barrel, you can see me there, so i use 5 balls in one day. One day, i brought way to much money so i bought 32 balls. Great people, great prices, great everything. come here everyday all day all night and sleep on the field
This is a ecent fiels...There need to be some high ground added in to make it more challanging. The gravel ground is a bit bad though, its hard to run on and if you want to be stealthy the gravel makes noise.
Over all its a good fiels, the prices are cool:
Adults- 35+tax Includes Rental gun (titan) free co2 free 90 paintballs and $10/90 after that.($5/45)
Kids- $10 off of above price
Members- If you have your own equipment, entrance fee if free, and $7/90--25 cents/ oz of Co2
If you have to rent, the rental is $5 anf free Co2--still $7/90 balls
$175 first year
$74 to renew the next year
And if you renew after the fifth year, you never have too renew again, you go platinum.
Friday nights- Members get in CHEAM and 35 $ for regular entry--buy a lot of balls--VERY AGGRESSAVE PLAY, dont come if you dont like gettin shot.

Some other fields in the area are:
-Shoot to Splatter (Elmira)
-Flag Raiders (Cambridge)
Good things: My experiences in the 2 years that i have been playing at The Paintball Arena they have been very good. The staff are well trained and they are very nice. They help you with anything from questions about the equiptment, to chronographing your gun. They are also well trained refferee's so you dont need to worry about anything in that section. The cost isnt all that bad. Its $25+tax for the entry fee(it comes to about $28), $10 for a double bag of paint(90 balls), and $5 for a single bag of paint(45 balls).
Not so great things: The only real problem i think that there is with The Paintball Arena is that they have a gravel floor. Every time you walk you can be heard from quite a far distance away. Its not a big deal but if u like to be stealthy, than this can be a problem for you.
Conclusion: The Paintball Arena is a fun and safe INDOOR arena to go too. If you live in the KW area, and you feel like a fun day of some indoor paintball with your buddies, than i would recommed going to The Paintball Arena. Its located on 69 Agnes St. Kitchener.
Flag Raiders - Great Field, Expensive if you don't own your own, Staff are a mixed breed either really good or idiots
I actually commented on the previous post (below this one) that I'd have to check it out because of the cheap prices during the Hosefest. So I went to a hosefest.
My first time at the Paintball Arena I played at a hosefest, which is supposed to be the aggressive, no holds barred, you're gonna get smoked night. It was, I did. However despite the fact that I was out there with my modest spyder clone (see sig) and I had no idea what I was doing everyone was very helpful. The members were super nice to me even though I was mostly running around like a headless chicken and the staff were very cool too. $5 for 90 paintballs is ridiculously cheap, like crazy cheap. So if you wanna blow off some paint and you don't mind getting humbled Friday nights are awesome.
Another time I played I actually organized a group to go out and I had like 22 people come with me. I was excited cause one of the staff told me that for organizing this many people to come out I'd get a free membership, so I was STOKED to hear that. Unfortunately it was apparently lies, I didn't get Jack, but at least I got my rental free.
The field itself is setup nicely. The village is a close quarters field complete with "houses", barrels, walls, alleys and sniper holes. The angles here are great and I drop some serious ownage in this area. The other side is Sherwood Forest which is basically a big speedball field and is fast and furious.
The field is covered in small pebbles and I'd seriously recommend busting out your paintball cleats for running on it, it makes a big difference.
The rentals are Mokal Titans which are no sniper rifles but they're actually quite reliable, none of my friends playing with this rental package had any problems except with accuracy and hell, what rental marker is accurate.
Their paint I'm not a big fan at all. I'm not sure what it is but it is black and it is not uniform. You can see flat spots on many of them. At flagraiders my marker fires darts (Pmi Premiums I think) but at the Arena it's pretty much useless after about 60 feet. But when the paint is cheap you can afford to fire more.
Here is what you need to know:
- Great Staff
- Great Owner (Hal is the man)
- Great Members
- Don't tolerate BS from A-holes
- Cheap days (Friday 90/$5, Sunday 500/$35)
- Nice field design and it'll keep getting better
- Rentals reliable (Flagraiders rent Stingrays sometimes, wtf)
- Indoor "Speedball" field
- Whatever that paint is
- No perks for bringing more than 15 people out if you organize an event
That's about it man, it's a great field with nice people, I hope they stick around because Flag Raiders needs some competition if not they'll be charging $20/100 soon.
