Safety-10 if you do not be safe on and off field you will get kicked out!
fields-9 alot of room and bunkers also cool things like helicopter
prices-8 a bit expensive if you rent but if you bring own gun it's great
staff/refs-8 their a bit harsh but that's to be expected because their big on safety
players-9 most are experienced and nice/helpful but some are complete newbies
food-9 you can get pizza or hot dogs and a soda with full day price
facilities-6 ummmm.... well i hope you like ditches
Safety-9, one kid didnt have his mask on when the horn blew but then the ref made sure everyone was prepared
Fields-10, 14 acres is the main field and thereis a 4 acre private field for private parties and the speedball course was alot of fun but not nearly as fun as the woods ball place where you can take cover in helicopters. (2 of them)
Hours of operation-9, they go from 8:30AM till 5:00PM or so, i only wish a paintball field had lights
prices- 8, normally a little expensive but when they have sales its awesome, 6$ to fill a co2 tank but if you play all day its free air and co2(12$ full day with air and 2 slices of pizza chips and a coke)!!!!!
services- 10, They have a shooting range with many people targets big to small and if you need help with your gun they help you for free (say you need to get a Response trigger installed theyll do it for free)
proshop-3, not much of a selection here but they offer good quality paint, and sell barrel squeegees and barrel condoms and that sort of stuff
Staff- 9, Very friendly but they do make mistakes time to time
Players- 8, alot of war vets come here and they offer guidance to new players also its a bit crowded on sale days
Facilities- 5, they have a piss hole for the guys and a porty potty for the girls..... 0 for girls and 10 for the guys so it rounds out to a 5
Food- 10, they are catered by Bettanos italian specialties and they have grills that you can use for bachelor parties and stuff
final score- 8.1 out of 10 this is only brought down because there is no proshop and the facilities arent meant for the girls (just go to the bathroom before you leave for the field)
The first thing I want to point out is that my first paintball experience outside of camps, was here. It gave me quite a image of how hard real paintball is. They gave me some pods and a gun, plus a jumpsuit. The people here do their job well, but I think they are a little bored with the newer players, I didn't feel welcomed. The place is cheap and it gives you excellant paint. However, getting a rental means death, rentals here are beat up tippmanns. These cannot compete most of the time with the better guns. Its just impossible at times to fight with rentals(which I always use). We had polar ice for the fall season, they care about quality paint. The people who go here are friendly and give you helpful pointer's in the game. Speedballers, there is only 1field here and it doesn't cut it. This place is for the woodsballer really, "14 acres of adrenline pumping action". I have to say that it is one of the largest fields I have played on and one of best. The level of players here is usually pretty good woodsballers and decent speedballers, but it can vary alot. The only problem is that sometimes the teams get a little lopsided, and then becomes a unfair game to the unfortunates. The senarios they give are pretty good, and with constant playing I must say its fun to do.
In short I would give it a 9 because its one of the best fields that's local and because they do their job well here. I would only be unhappy because of the quality of the rentals, but thats just me. I would suggest this field to anyone who has their own gun who likes a diverse field and game.

this is my favorite Field to play at it has 14 acres of woods land. the last time i went i was with about 12 other people. we played the half day which was 20 bucks bucks a person with 500 paintballs free air and a tippman 98 custom. we played many games they never repeated the same game. the last game of the day is a free for all and the winner gets a free pass back. the staff is friendly and will repair your gun if it breaks while your there. i knew a few of the kids that worked there and we had a speed ball game 4v2. it was me and three of my friends vs two of the staff members. we lost but the kids we played were on the speed ball team and win most of the time they play. i would recommend this field to anyone it is the most fun you will have at a field.
Watch out for the driveway, it sneaks up on you, as does the turn onto N. Main St.
The website covers the hours, prices, rules, etc. Go there for simple info. I'm covering the good stuff.
The Staging Area:
The hours are great, opens around 830, first games start running at 930. The staging area is, well... it's not immaculate, but there are plenty of places to put your gear, and ample chairs and seats strewn about. The staging area is about 30 ft from the place you line up for games, which is fine. There is another small staging area by the speedball field entrance so you people rocking your DM7's don't have to mill with the rental riff-raff.
I play woodsball mostly, and the times I went were with 3-4 other people who rented (I rock a spyder rodeo). The rentals are custom 98's that have seen a lot of use, they are clean though, and after shooting one of them, they were ok. One of my buddies got a defective one, but was promptly switched out for a working one. The staff at the proshop is always helpful, and quick to give a fill or lend you some lens cleaner. I keep forgetting to tip them at the end of the day, but they deserve it.
The pro-shop has mid level accessories, and pretty much anything you could want if you happen to have a lot of money and need something immediately. The field paint is PMI Stingers, which is fine. It's price is on the website. If you are self-equipped you can BYOP, which rules. Also, an all day field pass gets you lunch (2 hot dogs, 1 hamburger, or pizza). The food is nothing to write home about, but it does the job. They also have Mt. Dew as well as other carbonated beverages. Oh yes. Oh yes.
They have a target range too, where they initially chrono as well. It's got targets, and is well used.
Oh, yea... one more thing. The bathrooms. If you're squeamish about outhouses, go before you arrive, and hold it till after you leave. They do have an outdoor urinal for the fellas, which is a plus. They try to keep them clean, but there is only so much you can do with an outhouse.
Refs are very strict about safety without being complete jerks about it. If you just have a mental lapse, they remind you. Firmly. They are good during the games, keep moving and watch for people who get hit. Outside they are helpful and chatty, relaying tips about the next game if there are any. They switch up the games each time out too.. it's not always CTF. Sometimes it's attack and defend, sometimes it's football. They keep it lively.
The Woodsball Field:
This is, by far, the strength of FFPB. The field is huge, with 6 forts, and a village strewn over what looks like a few acres. It is a good 10 minute walk from one side of the field to the other. The larger forts are wooden structures that are sturdy, usually with 4 walls and multiple levels. The village is a set of constructed small forts, barrels, log barriers, plywood cover, and other small fortifications. Oh yea, and an old helicopter. It's what you would think of as urban close quarters combat. If you get out of position, or someone sneaks up your flank, you're going to get lit up. The woods aren't completely thinned out, but they don't hinder shots within 100ft or so. There is some natural cover, but you really end up going from position to position. In a full configuration, I can imagine a good 20 v 20 ctf game going on. We had up to 14 v 14 at one point. Suffice it to say, if you like woodsballing, you're going to love this field.
The Speedball Field:
FFPB has a 7 man factory team, I assume this is where they practice. It's got bunkers, it's got netting. I think it's sand on the ground. *shrug* Never actually played on it, just seen it played on.
Ranged from a 11 year old with an Angel, to a 45 year old guy with a rental. Everyone was nice. Haven't met a jerk there yet, well.. one. But he was easily ignored.
I *heart* Friendly Fire. You should too. If you have your own gear already it's a great deal, and the rentals are friendly enough that it's easy to get people to join you. Great staff. Great field. Decent facilities. I'll go back again and again.

It is in Upton near Fox 4. I personaly think that this field (Friendly Fire) is better.
This is probably the best talked about paintball field in Massachusetts. It has a great woods-ball area and a good speed-ball arena. It has great safety rules so nobody can get hurt. The rental guns are Tippmann 98 customs. You get free air whenever you need. If you have a question while playing they will answer it right away. If you have technical difficulties while playing they will help fix your gun. I highly recommend, and I highly, recommend Friendly Fire
This was the first place i had ever paintballed in and i have to say it was very good. the staff was nice and helpful. my freinds autococker was haveing some air trouble and they fixed it on the spot. safety is good, mask and gun condom rule are enforced. there was an even distribution of teams and the bunkers where well kept and well placed. good feild paint for a reasonable price and the rentals where in good contition. time in between games was long enough to take a breather and fill up your tank and pods, but short enough to get a good amout in on half a day. i dont know anything a bout speed ball but the inflateble cource looked good.
Ok well this field seems just about as safe to me as any other. Mabye more since the refs all keep close watch on you and will kick anybody off the field for breaking the rules.
They have a really large area for play and play lots of different scenarios. They use different parts of the field at different times and sometimes they open up the whole 14 acres for playing. I dont play speedball so i dont know about those fields. There is all different types of terrain here and makes playing definatley seem more like actual combat in the woods rather then a set up course.
The hours are pretty much perfect not being too long or too short. The only problem is they open kind of early and if your coming from far away you will have to get up earlier to make up which will mean youll be tired. However the day isnt that long so you can stay the whole day and it will be just right. I like this better because it means that you dont have to go home early so you can get everything you pay for.
They have some of the cheapest prices around. 15 dollars self equipped half day and 25 whole day. Paint is also a good price being about 60 for 2000 rounds. Its good quality paint too. If your renting its actually not that much more since paint is included in the offer. Co2 is an extra 2 dollars and renting a camo jumpsuit is about 5, also air is free.
The refs are pretty strict about the rules here. 2 warnings and they kick you out for the day. My friend got a warning just for sticking his hand in his mask to scratch his nose.
Once you get hit with a paintball your out and the refs do a good job of making sure nobody wipes.
They have really great service here. I had just gotten a new gun the day before and came to try it out. I broke it somehow and they fixed it for me for free in about 1 round. I even offered some money and they said that i should keep it.
The pro shop isnt that big but they have alot of basic stuff for good prices. They have air tanks, squeeges, oil, mask de fogger, masks, some barrels and alot of other stuff that you might need. I would say that its small but its got decent prices and all the small but important stuff you need.
The staff are all really friendly and help you out alot. In my impression, its not because they get paid to but they seem like genuinley nice people.
The refs are pretty strict and keep a close watch, but they are also nice and helpfull.
There seem to be all different types of players that come here, from 40 year old guys to 10 year old kids. Most of them are nice people and range in all experience levels.
Theres good food here and pretty good prices too. pizza, drinks, hamburgers, hot dogs, pretty much everything good.
Overall this field is great no matter what. Low prices, good service, and alot of action. Its definatley better then alot of places. It has better service then more expensive places and better fields. Overall ill give this place a 9, just because 10 is perfect and thats pretty much impossible to do, but this place comes pretty close.
Not quite sure went up with a friend and he drove.
Well we had to close down playboyz paintball so I took the opportunity on the rest of my day off to go play. Some of my friends and I drove over to Friendly Fire. The entry price was good $15 was all I had to pay and I didn't have to buy paint so can't tell ya that. The games were cool I like the refs there. They are pretty cool and gave some good pointers as to go on the field. I played on the woods course because that's what was available I normaly am an urban assault CQB type of player. The games were all fun but blue team was not so good and thats what team I had to be on since they needed experience players. Lets just say that the entire team was eliminated except for three players myself and two others I met there. We organized ourselfs and captured there flag but we didn't know that we were the only players left, as we headed towards our base the entire red team literaly the entire team came back and just took us out. It was a masacre. Eventually we got our stuff together and won the final game of the day well second to last game. After the game we had an every man for them selves about 15 of us so we played that (third to last out, taken out by a sniper while shooting at another player) but had fun and thats all that matters. I probably will head back for another day of playing when I get a day off from Playboyz.

I went on a Friday because i had to leave for vacation the next day so i needed one last fix of paintball before i left. there were three groups there, me and my friend, a camp with 26 little kids and 5 supervisors, and 5 guys who knew what they were doing. it winded up to be 12 on 26 for the rest of the day. we spent most of the time in the village which was pretty awesome except that the cover isn't too great and the woods have been thinned out way too much. we also played capture the flag which was awesome because we had a field of about 6 acres for us to play on. the only bad part was that the refs just stood there and didn't do anything. i hit about 5 kids in a row and they would just duck and wipe the paint. which is pretty hard because the evil paintballs with the orange fill are sick. overall the place was clean, friendly and a good time. but bring your own paint. the paint here sucks.
