the feilds are ok are staff is on and off but the prices suck its $65 dollars for a case of paint and its the cheapest crap i have ever used i think that its like wild streak paint but it sucks the repair prices are nuts just for them to take a look at your guns its $35 so half the time my friends and I just go in the woods somewhere instead of useing the feilds
I only went during a camp so i dont know about the refs but they have a bunch of good speedball feilds plus a huge scenario village. They have a good layouts on all of there feilds and the staging area is pretty spacious.
I recomend this feild just on the layout cause i played thre at a one week camp.
Also if you got an Angel they got the only mastertech in the area
numerious fields in MA, fox 4, friendly fire, Boston paintball, ect
The speedball fields were pretty good, and they have decent rentals, and it's easy to acces. However, many cons.
First, the refs are, how shall we say, a little lazy, and it takes forever just to get a game started. They are pretty professional, but theyre jerks. The refs at all the other places ive been are nice and polite and try to help out and get the games going. Unless u like refs that are bitter, depressing, and lazy, dont go here.
The prices are bad, cost me around 90 bucks to play 6 games of paintball. 65 for a case of paint, which u must buy (stupid), and the money stacks onto their desk and out of ure wallet.
The "staging area" is a trailer btw. But they do order pizza so thats pretty good.
Overall, not a good field at all, but its the only place on cape cod so i dont think they care very much if their field is bad...
camp paintball - great, heard its even better now
slam paintball - beat everything else hands down...
well... great fields! The sup air set up is awesome and the hyper ball fields are nice as well. I admit that is where the posistives end though.
while there is an occasional nice ref, most of them are jerks. They treat anyone who didnt buy their gun at CCPB (for to much$) as inferiors. This is regardless of what you use foir equipment, they are so insecure about thier abilities that they have to insist that their guns are better than yours. They charge an arm and a leg for everything... about $100 to play if you need a case of paint. They do a poor job or explaining rules in their rec ball (which i attempt to avoid) They also have a non-sensical surrender rule. It goes like this... You may not shoot at anyone with in 20 ft. Instead you ask them to surrender. They do not have to surrender, they can shoot at you. It is there fore impossible to actually win a close range fight because anyone with brains will just go mutual. If you do shoot the other person out with in 20 ft, they havea tendancy to kick you for a game. (abusing newbs??? something THEY do quite often!) Overall, crap. just its the only place on cape cod.
Ive played at fall river First Shot Paintball great place to go if you want to have fun. They closed though but are opening a new field in Trenton.
Overall i had a great day at the field.Very good on safety and most of them where very nice and helpful. They had very nice fields we played at about 5 different fields that day. They have a variety of different scenarios from speed ball to defend the castle.Refs where really nice and helpful they also did there job very well. One thing i did not like is the 10 foot surrender rule to prevent bunkering that kinda stunk but me and my friends got over it.Paint prices are a little bit high for 65 for a case of Diablo formula 13 but hey they have to make some money also so its not that big of a deal.20$ for entry and 10$ for all day is a good price i think. One other thing i didn't really like was that there was a lot of down time and waiting between games and sometimes the games where too short for the amount of time we waited to play. They have a lunch break in the middle of the day which was really cool you pay some money they will order a pizza for you. There is a drink machine and bathrooms there the bathroom isn't that far of a walk either! The rentals where well cared for and worked very nicely. Overall i had a really great time there and had a lot of fun.I recommend going here to have a good day of paintball but if your into fast paced games and not a lot of down time Cape Cod Paintball might not be the place for you
If you are looking for tournament style fields, this is the place! Hands down the best kept concept fields in New England. Been there many times. They change the fields around a few times a year to keep things fresh!
The staff seems professional and courteous! Couldnt recommend a better place to play Speedball!! Parking is more the ample. Staging is clean and shaded.
Driving couldnt be any easier....Follow highway to end and there it is in front of you!!
Pevs Paintball - Woodbridge, VA (RIP)
Pevs Paintball - Leesburg, VA
OA Painball - Bowie, MD
-Decent rental equipment (Model 98's with Compressed Air)
-Variety of Fields
-***Easy Road Access (Right off the Bourne Rotary)
-Fields reasonably clean of debris (some undergrowth, not too much)
-Refs were fair
-Giant Puddles of Water on the Roads to various fields
-A little slow between games
-No Airball (Deflated)(Sorta late in the season, but still)
-Prices (Not bad, Not Good)
-One ref for walk ons (Rest were at Miami, FL in Tourney)
Slam paintball which was run by great staff and really cared about playing not money
ill play here if i have to or for the Big Games but i wouldent go here regularly, i dont like the staff at all, they are professional but not very friendly basically if your gun didnt cost over $500 theyre gonna be jerks about it, the prices suck, luckily i play pump so i dont pay much but my friends probably drop $80-100 to play all day with entry, air, and a case of paint. Feilds are nice though.

Well, first off, Cape Cod Paintball is pretty big. It has a large selection of various fields, including airball, spools, woods, shrinkwrap, hyperball, and some pallets. The staff is pretty friendly, but the tech was mean. I asked for help on my spyder and he flat out told me to get a better gun. I don't like the idea of buying FPO which was 32 * at like 75 a case. Another thing I didn't like much was the pace of games. There were many breaks in between each game which seemed forever to get a game started. Overall, a great variety of awesome fields, but the FPO and slow paced games drag down the fun a little bit.
UMass Paintball Field, Boston Paintball, Fox 4 Paintball
Decent field, lots of room for both team practices, as well as walk ons. Since it's on the cape, almost all the fields have alot of sand, so expect to be cleaning it from your markers and everywhere else. The fields are decent (not great) occasionally they are not marked very well, so you can accidentally end up in another game (does not apply to speedball fields). The prices for walk -ons and fills are very reasonable, however the recently turned over to field paint only, which the quality is usually lacking. The site is also hosts alot of NEPL tournaments, so you walk-ons check first to see if the is a tournament that day. Sometimes they have charity games, but the ones I have been to were not very interesting.
