The field was great and the refs are cool. They try to mix up the woods and speedball fields but they usally go the speedball field which in my expirence is the best one tha I have been to. The refs check the ball hits as well as going to the chrono to make sure that everyones playing fair. With fills and paint theres about eveything you need and its always fun watching the occasional dynasty players play.... All in all this is the best park in san diego If you are novice or advanced there are people there that are at your skill level.....
this place has equal amount of woods ball and speed/hyper ball fields and the way they have it set up is basically you choose which group you want to go with the speedball group or the woods ball group and you can switch it up whenever you like to for a break or to try the other side of the sport but there fields are very well done and the refs are pretty good to i would recommend if you are in the area to go play there.
This is the best field i have ever been to. The ref's are great and they sell decently priced paint. The bunkers on the field don't just fall apart like at weekend warriors. It is the best park in the world only when it hasn't rain the day before otherwise your playing in a bunch of cow crap. I would highly recomend going to this field if you are a rook or a advanced player
This field is great!!! I only played with the advanced group and let me tell you, it was great practice. The players are excellent and friendly. So is the staff. The fields are awsome. The big ten man hyperball field was the best. The fields have perfect layouts for some amazing games. I played three fields. Big hyperball, small hyperball, and the spools. The spools is the hardest fo sho. So go here if you want some great speedball!! I don't know about the woodsball though, not my style.
velocity easily outranks mr paintball. I love the fields, hyperball is the bestest. Mini-hyperball is tight too. Great for noobs, intermedi's and advanced players. Great competition in advanced. Im going this saturday, august 9th. Come if u wanna, i will be in advanced. Woods are dumb, but they do hav wood fields for all u woody's. Hyperball and spools are still the best tho
Pirates Grove (good) weekend warriors(rip off) Mr paintball (could be better)

Overall a great place to play paintball. I did find that some advanced players were playing in the novice walk-ons. Otherwise I really enjoyed myself. Th refs were quick to paint check and would help you if you had a gun problem. Its really fun at the end of the day and everyone leaves so there is just about 10-20 players left. I'll defiantely be back tim and time again.
Mr. Paintball in escondido- im sorry but this place had no good feilds

This place is awsome, it is where i started paintballing and is where I'm guna stop paintballing. I've tryed other feilds and nothing compared to this one. I love it: good shop, kind personel, great feilds, and nice store in poway. i think that if there is a new player starting out in the San Diego area they should try this out, im not saying to go anywhere else but it is definetly somplace that an advanced or new player should try out.
I just recently went to Velocity Paintball for a 3-Man Torny event. I had a really awesome time and the staff there was great. Games went smoothly. Everyone helped each other out which made this a great experience. My team [PeaceMakers] placed 9th.
This place is really awesome. I look forward to comin back from Tennessee for more Torny events
Peace
Velocity paintball feilds are decked out prety evenly so neither team has an advantage over the other which is good for every1, the price 4 entry, air, and paint ain't too bad, and the food costs the same or less than that @ ur local grocery store, the only bad thing about it is some of the refs who don't pay muchc attention durinng games, asome fields though.

i haven't played at any other fields, except in some canyons in poway. this field is good enough to keep me coming back here and not trying any other fields. the price for admission is $20 (not too bad) and they give you a nice deal on nitrogen fills (buy 20 fills of 1000psi each, and get 4 free). there are a lot of fields (18), staff is pretty helpful altho they have some lazy refs who just kick it there and do nothing. my only two gripes with this field is that it smells like cow s h i t so bad i almost puked once, and the way they make up teams is not very organized, therefore they waste a lot of time between games.
