I've been playing there since I started. I loved it back then. Now I play at Absolute Paintball And It's so much better. I went to robinhood to play and everything is so terrible. Half the airball bunkers have holes in them and are deflated to the ground. The refs sit around during the game and you got to yell at them for a single paint check, isn't that what they are there for??? The owers are blaming me that I should have extra parts for my Nitro tank because they don't have the part for me to buy. I though the customer was always right. After playing to games I was sick of it all. I packed my stuff went to the front and gave them my membership cause I'm never going back. I'm going back to Absoulte were I'm treated with respect and kindness, and where the field is always at its best and the refs are being.... refs.
Only played field ball twice but I like this field, they have a good selection to choose from. 4 woods courses, only using 3 due to insurance regs.(ref told us). Spools course was o.k. Air bag course was muddy(apparently it had rained). Prices were the same as the other field I played on one thing i liked was all day CO2 for $10, not offered at the other field I played on. Refs were OK, if we had an issue we discussed it for future reference and played on. What do expect for a $10 field fee? Seems most people bash the refs, but I was there to shoot the crap out of someone, didn't need some punk kid trying to boss me around. All in all I think this is a great field, if I am ever back visiting my brother in Maryland we will DEFINITELY go back to Robin hood!!!
I like Robinhood because they have a good team of refs and ownership. The air ball field is nice because they change it up every once and awhile. The woods and open field are my favorite. I started playing here. Its a little far away but i like the field so much I still go. The field rates are reasonable but the paint is sometimes bad.
I go to robinhood almost every weekend and i never had have one problem except my gun braking but that aint their fault. The refs are great, they keep the place clean, and allow you to have fun. The refs let you have fun and also keep you in line with the rules. They give you helpful advice and they treat you as a friend. I played in both of the tournament under the name contusion and the tournaments were fair. If you never played before you should go there for your first time because they give advice which boosted me. If it is your first time going down there it looks like a farm. Don't judge a book by its cover.
Paintball Adventure Park (Taneytown) and Route 40 paintball. Taneytown ranks neck and neck with Robinhood and Rt 40 a distant second to both.
I love Robinhood. I started playing there and I go back every weekend. The airball (and new hyper/spool fields) are changed up every now and then which makes it more fun. Another thing i like about this field is that on any given sunday you have a decent chance of finding Ether and Image guys about. If you want to move up to a tournament level player, finding guys like these who are willing to show you the ropes is really nice. I would love to see better airball bunkers (ie NPPL ish), they are on par or better than other fields but i am partial to this field but everything can always be better.
Wanna Play Paintball- great fields and staff. Reffs were very friendly.
I went to their tournament this Sunday and I had a good time. At first when you pull in it looks like the place is run down and in need of serious maintence. But don't let looks fool you. After paying the entrance fee and buying paint you find an excellent set up area with numerous spools for putting up all your gear. The two airball fields we played on throughout the day were really nice and well thought out. Not just thrown together. Throughout the course of the tournement the refs did an awsome job of making calls and keeping everything going smoothly. I'm not so sure about rookie teams playing in the youth division. Everyone I played was definitly 15. The paint was ok. It was pretty brittle and seemed to break at the wrong time in my barrel. At the same time though, the balls always broke on my target. Also, read the box. It's rec grade paint so if you want better quality then pay more for it. All in all I really like this field. The tournament was great and well put together. The service and refs were awsome. I'll definitly be back next season. Thanks Robinhood.
special thanks to the guy reffing at the end of the tournament at field 1(didn't catch his name). Your advice was alot of help and we all thank you for it.

Anne Arundel Paintball Park-Great Field! Employees are nice and respectful, prices are fair
I played at this field once for a tournament and it was the worst tournament I have ever been too. They put the novice in with the rookie, Im sorry but if a rookie is paying over $500 they should be able to compete with fair teams. They let their home team play in they tourney and gave them lower grade guns thinking that would make it fair. The owner treated us like we were the scum of the earth. Their is run down, falling apart buildings everywhere and although the cow's are funny and very tempting to shoot they don't make the place smell very nice. The paint was awful and the field would take no blame for it. Since they team up with Route 40 alot of the teams that play at 40 played at RobinHood making the calls seem a little unfair. I have never felt like such an unwelcome person at a field, considering paintball is not that big of a sport you would think they would treat you with a little respect so that you will come back. I will never return to that field, rec-ball or tournament and I suggest you don't either!!!!!!!!
This field is one of the best probably. The only downside is that they group you with other players not your level.but in order to get better . u gotta play people better than u so its kool. Also you cannot bring your own paint. but u can live with that.
The field has alot of nice playing fields. They have 4 woodsball fields and 2 big speedball fields. The refs are nice and the service is good. alot of people go there and it is a fun place to go. GO THERE

Out of our party of 16 people assembled to celebrate some birthdays, 11 of us had never played Paintball before (myself included). Since I had never played I was very nervous about everything as were many in our large group. The staff at RH was very reassuring and supportive and everyone ended up having an excellent time in part because of their attentiveness. They were helpful and wanted you to enjoy the sport and come back again (which we will). Any question was answered immediately by anyone within earshot of your question. There were so many of us we misplaced our personal belongs several times and each time a staff member helped look for the stuff. The refs kept a good pace, never made us feel rushed and in general made us feel welcome and secure knowing it was our first time. For the most part they were on top of safety especially with face masks though I wished they had been more assertive about making sure there was no bunkering (we had 6 young kids in the group). This occured several times and scared the heck out of one of the kids. I will be better prepared to shortcut that behavior early on if we have kids with us again. The only other negative comment I'll make is that it was a little unclear as to where you sign in and get started--some signage would clear that up and that is really a very minor thing that probably bugged us because we had never played. The fields were extremely varied and the dogleg course was fun and challenging. I personally felt all the fields were well thought out. I thought the prices were reasonable for the major fun you were getting in exchange. The crowd seemed very friendly and respectful of the rules and a couple of kids asked how I liked playing which I thought was a nice thing to ask some adult they did not know. They have grills there and a gatorade/water machine ($1), plenty of places and picnic tables to hang out at. Parking was good--big lot around back. And, big sign out front of the place that you can't miss. Overall we had an excellent experience.
