THis field is high quality stuff. There indoor speedball is amazing and out door speedball field is just as amazing. I would recoment playing castle. It is so much fun. The refs ans staff are respectfull and enforce whats needs to be enforced. I would reccomend you make a trip out there. December 11 toy drive Donate and play w/ free entry. The prices are resonable and again its amazing.

I would like to say that my teammates and I were very very impressed with HornetsNest. We've known Brother for several years now and he's been asking us to come up. It is definatly worth the trip there. The fields were fun and only a short walk away. The indoor field is great ... the flooring is great. The prices for the day were great and economical, especially the membership thing were we can come back for 1 week to play. We will definatly be going back there, maybe not this year but definatly next year.
Executive(dump). Splat Factory(closed). I live in Berkshire county. I need to travel at least an hour to get ANYWHERE to play paintball. Finally found somewhere that has a good atmosphere and everything you need to play. I suggest that any person living in Berkshire county take the time to check out the Hornest Nest. Its by far the best deal in the area.
Review:
I have been waiting for a chance to go to the Hornest Nest for a while. I just got married and I was looking forward to using my new Proto (a gift from my bride by the way). I couldn't have been happier with the day I had. My gun ran great and I got once I got warmed up I played a few speedball games. ( sorry bout the shin shot Phil....stop whining). I strongly suggest that any person that is serious about paintball, give this place a try. I know that I have alot of money invested in my paintball gear. When I go out on a Sunday afternoon to shoot some fools, that I want my moneys worth. Be not afraid that if you come to the Nest , you will get your moneys worth for whatever style of paintball you play. Sundays are the best days for play due to the factory team being there as welll as some scenario players. Bob runs a very well putogether business and I am looking forward to playing there as a home field. Mother I want to talk to you as well about training for Factory. Everyone go here.......no other places compares near me.

i wat to say a lot of good stuff about hornets`s nest. first is respect to them for the way the treated me there, even though i wasnt plaing( cause i showed up around 9:30 am, and there was no players there, too bad for me). the place is very nice and big...indor and outdoor fields, good and friendly owner. the only thing sucks...people don`t like to start playing in the morning:( . friday morning is prety much the only time that i can play......hopefully one of those mornings someone is going to play.....see ya all on nov.13 at hornets nest.
Well my buddy got invited to play at hornets nest and asked me to go with him... it was the best paintball experince I ever had. Hornets Nest Paintball has everything you could ever want, speedball, woodsbal,l indoor airball, friendly staff ,fair refs, and very cheep everything. their holloween senario was the most fun ever, even thought we lost. Hornets Nest Paintball would be a great place for Walk-On players to lear how to play, and for experenced player to have a good time and lose to Team Hornets Nest (Phill and Shawn mostly). but over all I would have to say if you want good paintball go to Hornets Nest and have fun.

I usually play at private areas. Hornets Nest was only my first proffesional feild in the course of my 4 years of playing paintball.

One of my dads best friends Brother Gunsett invited my father and I up to Hornets nest. His son Phil, who I am very good friends with told me about this Hornets Nest all the time. I didnt know how much fun I was going to have until I got there. Iv never played a game with so many people, never before with a tank, never before with land mines or grenades. Iv never before lead 20 (or more) men on an assault, taking forts, pushing back enemy players, and charging (screaming battle cries and firing wildly). My adrenaline ran through me all day, Iv never been able to run for that long (and Im an athlete). That game, the one on the 23rd, was absolutly incredible. After the scenario game we played a game with Hornets Nest castle, which was exactly like D-Day and was exactly how D-Day seemed in my head everytime I read about it. I had so much fun at Hornets Nest, as a matter of fact I dont think I had that much fun ever. Thanks alot HornetsNest, and thanks for letting me use your kick-ass AK-A5. What an incredible game!
well, on the night of oct. 14 it was raining for the 7th night so a group of us decided to play paintball. The owner of the hornetsnest has been after me to come down and play.(a little history, 16 or 17 years ago i was a part of the original hornets with the owner) When we arrived i was pleasantly surprised! The road in had a little to be desired but its just a road. We pulled up to this big steel building and said wow, bobs first field consisted of wire spools and pallets in his back yard... We went in side and it only got better! So clean and big, great pro shop, then it came time to test the field...Again wow! the field was very well lit and clean! it was clean, nice new inflatable bunkers, clean gravel floor and it was warm!! we played for about an hour , and then we got the grand tour.. I was very impressed with the whole operation!!!! So much so that i am thinking of getting serious about paintball again!! Thanks bob for a great time and i WILL see you in the very near future.....
I have played at private feilds and nothing could be better than this one! this place has everything you need,speed ball indoors or outdoors,airsoft ,castle,woods!What else do you need?senarios!!! they got em!!! how about a sim 50 cal mounted on a truck firing at ya! or walking into a church and having a mine blowing up in your face!! you think your good?well protect the convoy of duece and halfs.im a short timer but but i know how to have a good time and i had a blast there during one of there senarios and and prolly will never play any place else!! way better than great escape!!!! if your ever up here go check it out, gauranteed a blast!
If you live in upstate NY,or anywhere in NY, you must check out the Hornets Nest. Had the best time playing on there many different fields ranging from X ball to Woods game to even King of the hill. The staff and refs where awesome, and the prices you can't beat anywhere. Overall, this is one of the best fields in the north east. Check it out, it's definitely worth it.
