New Review~ Jan. 21st 2004
Their field is amazing for those who love sup air. They improved on some stuff.
Added- Astro turff with 1" layer of foam under it. Soft and great for dives.
Added- Chrono Area
Added- Pod Fill station (quick Fills)
There is now a Pro Shop located next door.
They are able to put up more tables ~8+ total.
The floor in the staging area can get slippery since now you wear shoes and its covered in oil.
New rating 9.8 but I have to put 10.
Old Review~ --/--/--
The field is large. There is netting to protect balls from entering the staging area. There are 2 fields. 1 Dye field and soon to be X Ball (there are a lot of pieces). The staging area in the field is not that large, but outside there is more room. They have a pool table and fooseball table at the front desk. 2 Tv's with the latest dvds playing non stop. Playing on the field was great. Bunkers were easy to change around. The ground they used was a first. It was good for sliding into bunkers (maybe to good), but you can lose your grip easily and fall. I had problems stopping at bunkers and over slid them (but still didn't get shot). Skorpion has some great refs that are on the field at all times to check for hits or to squeegee barrels. I played several 3 on 3 games and it felt like a tournament. The fields are cleaned every day so the bunkers are not covered in paint. They can fill up to 4500psi. They have great rental guns. T-Ranger and E-Rangers with v force masks.
Overall a 9- Very good field. Problems with the turf. Staging area in the field is a bit small if there was a group of 30.
(Sand, Gravel, Foam, Didn't anyone think of Astroturf?)
