paintball quest is the best feild in alabama
I played at a tourney at this place , and it was ok. There speedball is good They had an airball feild up that kicked ass!!!!. The woods feild sucked , but I hate woods anyway. There speedball is awsome. Also the assault course is good, and is fun to play. On a regular day not many people are there, and its not that good.
Hidden Valley (closed) best field in the Tuscaloosa area.
well i used to absolutely hate this place. the fields were poorly put together and jus not a very good time in general.
i recently started going back and things have changed dramatically.
The woods course isnt the greatest ive ever played but its still fun.
The superspeedball field is fun to play but i think there should be some more variation in bunker styles (most all are like this square thing).
The main speedball field is big enough for many people to play (we have played 8 on 8 b4) the area between bunkers is kinda big but once in the game u dont seem to notice and its very enjoyable.
The Ridge has got to be the best field here. it has huge cliffs and gulleys and washouts ect. some drops ranging from 8 feet to as high as 15 or 20. it makes it extremely fun to start at the bottom of the ridge and have to take the top.
And to Mikey, i would have to apologize for my earlier comments that have since been removed. back when i wrote the review was when the field wasnt very big andthings just wasnt ran very well. i understand now that my comments were not exactly polite and pretty much dissed the employs there, and for this i apologize.
The field is a great place to play and not far out. ull usually find me out there along with Team Damage and some other teams occasionally come.
Splat Zone has some good fields, and they are in work on geting them better . Prices are good and the others players seem to enjoy the field and the players. During the day some of Team Damage is there and thier always willing to answer questions about guns and tatics on how to play. The Big Speed ball field has been revamped to make it playable for Rec ball, 3,5,7+ teams. Ref's seem fair in thier calls and are quick to give pointers on how the player got out and how to avoid it happening again. Over all it's a good place for Beginners on up to Vetrans. Aces have been played there. Paint, co2, air and rental equip (guns, mask, tanks) are avaiable. Yes the woods course does have the chances of snakes, But what wooded couse dosn't? Unless it's been raining really bad any and all courses are open during bussiness hours.
All FIelds have thier +'s and -'s, this field is worth at least a try and you decide for yourself
Note: As far a intimmy's statment of not likeing the Owner and the comments about the Refs I say this in a very polite way. Your issues with the Owner and his arangements with his Ref's are not related towards the fields or the play going on there. And in no way should be thought as a bad mark towards Splat Zone. TY
I have played at only this one, because it is close to where I live.
This is a great course. They let you rent a gun, hopper, CO2 tank, and 300 rounds for $25. The gun is a Pro-Carbine. I would suggest saving up money for a gun but in the meantime just rent because this field is awesome. The woods course some people don't like but I love it. The desert course is where one team comes through the trees and another sets up at the top of the hill. They recently added this course and it is awesome. In conclusion, I think that this field is very awesome and
