I didn't like the staff of the refs but it is a fine place to go when everywhere else is too cold or snowing. The products they sell there are fine. The service is slow( when you want to get an air fill they take like 10 min.) The surface that you play on is mulch so its not the greatest playing surface. The lighting is almost always a problem. They just put new lights but it is still less than what you would expect |

Well this is my second visit and the first time i was there i didnt know what to think of it, i thought the staff was all mean, the refs were kinda cheesy, and the place smelled like dirty ass. but today i went back again and i dont know what happened but they were very nice and helpful, espicially the owner dan, i got into a nice conversation with him. he knows a lot about smart pars(hes certified) which is really nice and he is veryvery helpful with every thing. but the only reason im giving it an 8 is because the fiels is pretty nasty(dirty, smelly) and the refs arent the greatest, but from my understanding they are volunteers which is really nice of them so im not really complaining. |

Very friendly knowledgeable staff, great pricing (was $45 a case, WOW for an indoor field in February).
The lighting was a little poor on the hyperball field, the airball was much better. Refs are friendly and actually do paintchecks. We had a great time. It could be a little warmer in the main staging area, the dad that came with us practically froze because he wasn't running around like us. I had a small issue with my marker and the guys behind the bench were able to help me get back up and running. Extensive pro shop. The flooring is semi-wood chips, which can make for a rough slide into the snake, I bruised up my knee pretty good hitting dirt where the chips had scattered.
All in all, a great place to go.
**This is based only off of their 2 indoor fields, since it's frickin freezing outside. |

Just to comment on a great field, that enforces the rules!! ( unlike other fields) Just this week they got 6 new huge lights!! The Airball Field is so much brighter!! I highly recommend coming and checking this out. The Refs were very freindly during my group this morning, they actually enforce the rules. The would not just stand on the sideline and call you out, the bald one would come in and pull you out. The woman behind the counter goes over the rules very well!! She was very nice to us!! One of the guys in our group had gun problems, and the owners son helped me out, and got his gun going real quick!! I am going to start coming to this field more often.. The new lights make alot of difference!!! |

Splat: better pro shop by far, rent better equipment, though this is no longer a problem for me. |

Well my buddy went to intense for his birthday in february cuz we didn't feel like playing on an outdoor field in the winter. We get into the pro shop/staging area, and the people were very good about hammering the rules to everyone, even those of us who had played for many years. Their prices i thought were reasonable, $20 to play for 3 hours with all day air and 500 rounds of paint (this rate came through our group) Now, when we finally got onto the field, our problems begin. First, the ground is covered in wood chips (kinda painful when you slide into the snake). The place is not well lit at all, if you're on the team who's in the near side to start and you play back, good luck finding they're back guys, cuz the far side has one light, that's it. The refs are pretty good at what they do, but they're not good at figuring out what's wrong on a 98C. They lost the sear spring on my buddy's 98C. Also, they rent out Co2 (not gonna fault them for this, it's just splat rents hpa), and their 98s that they rent shoot like they haven't been cleaned for some time. However, one thing that i did like is they provide you with spray bottles for your goggles in the staging area, and they actually have cold drinks that you can buy fairly cheaply (a 12 oz can for $.50). Overall, i give intense an eight, because their miscellanious things such as spray bottles are pretty nice to have, and they hammer saftey a lot which is very good, However, i don't like the wood chips, more lights wouldn't hurt at all, and they managed to lose one of the most important parts on a 98C (which is the one of the hardes marker to break if you ask me.)| Last edited on Wednesday, August 16th, 2006 at 3:14 pm PST |

This field is right off of the highway. There is no sign on the outside that says Intense, it just says paintball on the outside in big, red, letters. |

This field is ok, not the best, jst ok, i don't like how there is no woods ball field, and how it is indoor. Also, the lighting on the inside is not the best. i cannot see ne thing w/ a little fog in my mask. The staging area is pretty nice. Also the workers there and the refs there r very friendly and they'll tell you exactly what's wrong with your gun. |

TPA - Easily the best field ever, played tournies there, not only were the refs, and mike helpful and nice, but the players were as well. |

It goes like this: The proshop.(with the indoor fields) to the left is a bowling alley (It's connected, it and the proshop basically share one giant building, there's a wall inbetween the alley, and the proshop though. Then to the left of the bowling alley is the outdoor hyberball field. |

This business is I think average, safety is strictly enforced, with 2 warnings, then the player being removed from the field, until he returns his mask to his face. The refs are nice, a little on the uncommunicative side (It's almost as if they refused to verbally alert me to the fact that I was hit, they just kind of nodded, and looked at me, even though I didn't say anything). The woman there looked as if she was holding some mean remark back. She had that look of distaste on her face although she never said anything bad, and promptly granted all my requests for paint, fills etc. Their proshop is filled to the brim with upgrades, and markers hanging from the wall, and all markers were cleaned if need be. Their staging area is actually on the other side of the room from the proshop with picnic tables. The indoor airball field, and the outdoor hyperball field are almost pristine. Those 2 fields are very clean, although the mulch smells like something died. However the indoor hyperball field was coated in a layer of extremely old paint. It looked as if the indoor hyperball field was never once cleaned of paint, and the barrels had lids that went slightly into the barrel (looked like this: ___/ ) and the barrel was filled from the lid to the top of the brim with paint! I tried my best to avoid rubbing against the tubes. The prices were a little high, nothing rediculous though. Overall we had a blast except for the mean looking lady, and the paint covered indoor hyperball field (we only tried that field twice). I would definetly go back although I would only play in the indoor hyperball field if they cleaned it off.| Last edited on Monday, August 7th, 2006 at 4:36 pm PST |

This place is great the hyperball field is well mantained and has a nice layout the airball field is alot of fun too. They have a large proshop and rentals are very nice too. They are very nice to kids that have never played before. The paint there is good too. It is very cheap. They have indoor and outdoor courses. The indoor course is great for winter because theyre the only place open. The refs are good they come over when they think you are hit or call a paintcheck to make sure youre hit or if it bounced. Everthing there is affordable and its a great time. The owner there is realy nice i bought my first gun there and he was very helpful his son did a lot of work on my nerve and it is shooting great now he put new ball detents on,adjusted the trigger, put a volumizer on and a new ASA, he helped me figure out how to program my board. Its the best place for a person that has never played to go there. The reason is because there is a no bunkering rule and most of the more expericed players play airball and they new players can play hyperball. The chrono limit is lower so it wont hurt as much. They have a large room with table and chairs you can put your stuff on. They have drinks and other snacks you can purchase there. These are the store hours
Tuesday ............... 5:00pm to 8:30pm
Friday .................. 5:00pm to 10:00pm
Saturday .............. 4:00pm to 10:00pm
Sunday ................ 2:00pm to 7:00pm
They are also Smart Parts Authorized Tech Support. So they are very helpful with smart part guns.
They have or other 10/10 for having great staff, great prices and great fields, and a friendly owner, for always being open and being smart parts authorized| Last edited on Sunday, March 12th, 2006 at 3:17 pm PST |

ok, so my impression first driving up.
Right off alliance exit, easy to get to.
The owner, Dan, was very friendly, but his wife leaves me feeling unwanted at the field.
Me and my buddy go up, we're both 17. He lies and says he's 18 so he can sign for himself and I. She gives us dirty looks and says "I know, he's not 18, and I don't appreciate a bunch of liars coming in hear and lying to my face". Granted we were blatantly lying to her. But she had no right to call us liars, how does she know he's not 18? We're her customers, paying to play there. She should at least be cool the waivers were signed, suppose i get stabbed by a big piece of mulch right thru my neck. Would she be in trouble? No. My waiver was signed by someone who claimed to be 18. Not her problem. So she explains the rules, and informs me of the no bunkering rule. We have to yell surrender within 15ft of the person. Because "this is rec play, not tourneys" Ok. I ask her if we have to surrender or if we can shoot the person. Again except with more attitude she reminds me "this is rec play, not tourneys". So she rings me up for my entry, asks me if i want all day air, and then charges me for 1/2 case. Dosen't ask if I want more. So w/e. I paid my $42. Got my stuff ready, and went to chrono in, they chrono at 260. The hyperball field is fairly long, so there is not point in laning because everyball will bounce. The field smells HORRIBLE. This mulch they had covering the floor was soggy with paint, sweat and god knows what else. Dark as night, and unsymettrical. (sp?)
Maybe it was just the day I went, but it was me and my buddy against all noobs either with rentals or with shockers...weird...
Refs leave something to be desired. I was shot right in the mouth, I yell across the field if I was hit and the ref said "no". Did he come to look? No. The refs have to stand on the 2 sides of the field because of the weird design of the field. Not their fault. But I can't tell you how many times I ask if I was hit, and the ref would nod or shake their head. I couldn't see this nod or shake because they didn't really move their head much, so i'd have to ask 3-4 times before they'd answer me verbally. They didn't really enforce the surrender rule, I myself went to yell surrender at seperate people and was answered with a cap being busted on me. No problem. But if I can't do it, they shouldn't be able to either. Whenever I ask if I was within 15 ft of a player they'd reply "uhhhh...I dunno". Great, just great. Masks rule was enforced. It was a safe field.
Staff was ok, only problem I had was with the lady being VERY rude.
Bottom line- Field's dark
Rude lady
Horrible smell
Cheap
Tons of noobs
No bunkering
Lame refs
Low chrono limit
unsymettrical hyperball field
I guess it'll have to do for now, until the spring time when splat opens up.
Not really a superfun time, but it is paintball. |

This place is pretty awesome. I only played indoors. The staff there is nice and the prices are great, only $48 a case. Only bad thing I can say is that it is a little smelly and the airball field is a bit small but it didn't really matter. Would recomment this field to anybody who has a chance to go. |
