The staff there is nice if you buy a part they will install it for you. Its pretty cheap only 25.00 for 1000 paintballs.Although it is pretty messy. |

TPA-Good Field but staff is not as friendly and helping as Dan and his staff. TPA would rather help you so they can earn a dollar where Dan would rather help just to see you have a good time.
Indian Springs-Ok decent field but Refs weren't interested in the games really and weren't very friendly to talk to. |

I have been going to this field for about 2 and half years almost 3. I stopped playing for a while but I started again and I wanted to compliment Dan on all the wonderful improvements that he had at his field. The lighting improved a lot, they have added a Air ball field and added a lot more items to their proshop. The paint about two years ago wasn't the greatest, had a hard time fitting it in a 0.695 freak insert but the last time I went and I purchased some rec ball for 49 dollars and it shot flawlessly. I had no breaks and used a 0.687. I have seen this field from when it first started to improve under the new owners and I have always been a fan. The biggest thing is that Dan is always trying to find ways to improve the field and make the whole paintball atmosphere better. He always uses all his resources that he has to make his field better. Honestly I hear alot of ppl complain about the mulch and I think if your going to play paintball you should be willing to get a little dirty. When you come home just wash your clothes. The mulch is easy on your knees and soft to fall on. I would much rather have mulch than carpet. The air ball field is a very tight but fun to play field. The only thing I would have to say could be improved is the paint covered bunkers on the Hyperball field. It is very hard to wash the bunkers every time they're open but every once and while could help.
Pros- Excellent Owner
Great Proshop
Wonderful Atmosphere
Cheap Prices
Great refs
Good field setups
Warm
Decent Lighting
Lots of room in the staging area
Cons-
I cant really think or find anything bad about this field. The only suggestion I could make is to clean off the Hyperball bunkers more often but that's all.
In conclusion this is a Great field. I think if you are either a seasoned tournament player or someone new to the scene that you should go and check out Intense. The playing is fun and there are always games going if people are willing to play. The mulch is in my opinion better than carpet flooring and the Refs are very friendly , informative and willing to do their job. I mean for rec ball not a lot of people are willing to run through a rope of paint to give a check. If you are going to dis on the refs for any field, I believe that you should go and try it sometime its not as easy as it seems for one and half of the refs get hit more than the players. So go and try this field! I give this field a 10 because it might not be the most fancy or high tech field out there but the owner always is trying to make improvement and make the playing experience better for everyone. I belief this makes the trip to Intense better than a field where no one talks to you or really cares you are there. When you go to Intense there is almost always people to go especially if it is raining or snowing outside come here and play.| Last edited on Saturday, February 26th, 2005 at 11:13 am PST |

Okay, I'll admit I'm fairy new at paintball. I recently upgraded from my pump to an A-5 and was looking for some place to try it out. I've only played woods ball with the buddies up until now and this place was an education for me.
Other then getting rediculously spanked, I had a great deal of fun. The players and the refs where extreamly helpful to an FNG like me. Here are my list of pros vs cons
Pros:
Great staff
Good players and very nice to newbies
cheap CO2 and field fee (only 10 bucks).
Cons:
Have to buy their paint can you have to store it there.
A few of the games where unorganized.
All in all I loved this place and it has enthused my paintball spirit. |

Ok intense isn't the greatest, it isn't the worst. I didn'r really like the gun hits don't count rule they had. Some of the reff'n if found odd, but hey, you go anywhere and some1 is always going to get into a dispute. It's rather dark in the field, if you have mirrored lenses, change them for this field... There are some good players here though, some good competition. And for in the middle of winter it's a great field. But, I won't be playing there much, if at all in the summer.
Pro's
Cheap
Indoor
speedball field is nice
friendly staff
Cons
Mulch turf
Shady reffing at some points
Bad hyberball field, speedball is sweet though...

This field is great...
I played my first paintball here about 6 months ago. Great shop owner that knowledgeable about the game and the equipment. Oh refs the refs are great guys. They a paintballers themselves and do really care about the fairness and people having fun during the game. They get shot the $#@% out of them trying to do paint checks. Only $10 for the field fee and $5 for the rentals(Tippmann 98 Customs)...paint prices are pretty good only $48 a case of rec balls and $53 for premiums...and they use Kick'n paint. Great staging are with lots of tables. Its indoors so rain or snow you can still keep paintballing in a warm environment. They have a good hyper-ball field which they keep rearranging so its not repetitive month after month. They have a decent sized Airball field which is a lot of fun for teams of 3's. One time we had 20 people playing here at once and they opened both of the fields for play at the same time, everyone had a blast. Intense is a great place to go if you are all by yourself or have a small group. Always easy to pick up games here and great atmosphere. Great place to go whether just starting out or have been playing for years... |

Played pb my first time just over a year ago at 3D Sports in Alliance. I did not know what to expect not having gone before or even seeing a field for that matter, thought it was great and had a lot of fun with almost a dozen guys I know from work. Then I got to thinking how my 10 year old son would like pb. So this past fall we went to Intense Paintball. He loved it and wanted to go again and get his own marker. Of coarse, after seeing all the fancy, neat colored markers for sale on the wall. So I purchased a Tippmann Custom 98 a couple weeks ago. I got him familiar with the marker at home before going again. We went to Splat and played the field on the hillside with the jeep, it was good even though I went home with more mosquito bites than pb welts and my knees a little sore from going up and down the hill for a couple hours. I have been on the mailing list from Intense Paintball since we went last fall. They always send e-mails of up and coming events or specials like Free Field Fee Friday night, Fathers Day special and various other things that go on. Got an e-mail a week or so again and they were having an event Saturday, July 24th. Giving prizes away, pizza at 9:00pm with a choice of drink from the fridge, playing in the outside field from 4 until its dark and moving inside for the rest of the evening until 11:00 if anyone cared to stay that long. Then they were giving everybody a raffle ticket when you came to play and if they got 30 people to play that evening, they were going to give a marker away. Well, only about 20 people showed (no marker giveaway). Everybody had a lot of fun, even the guy that pulled his hamstring sat a few out and got back in later. They did trivia questions to win more prize giveaway tickets. I had my wife and two kids with me, so we ended up with many tickets for chances to go home with stuff. I ended up taking home 6 sheets of manufacture stickers of various names, a pb magazine, two Redz 150 round podz, 12 oz Co2 tank and two free admissions to play there again.
So anyhow. The outside field was really fun, it was a good size with plastic barrels, tubes and wood spools. The ground was mostly all grass which I thought was nice. We usually had at least 8 on 8 and the field could easily accomodate more. The inside fields are all mulch on the floor with pretty much the same stuff, barrels and tubes of various sizes. Being narrower than outside, it still did not seem small for the amount of people they had there that night. The mulch was paint saturated in a few areas, so that made it a little dirty to dive down behind stuff. But what can you expect for indoor with no rain to wash things down once in a while. The airball field was good. It is a little smaller than I would want, but it made some good fun for two on two. The refs were cool and the owner Dan, his wife and kids are really nice people. They really want people to come out and have a good time. So go check this place out. It is well worth it. I rate this place a ten, even though I know there is better places out there in the paintball world, they use what they have to the fullest. |

I've been going here for around 3 years now. When i first started going it kinda sucked. Realy high price's ,field was crappy and it just was kinda sucky . NOW what most people don't know is that It is under new owner ship. Before it was owned by the owner of Kick'n paintballs. It is now owned by the Shiring family. I believe they have been operating Intense paintball for a little over 8 months now. Paintball field up keep is expensive and had a few talks with Mr. Shiring , he said he ad plans for an airball field along with an outdoor field.
They Currently offer :
Indoor Airball field with pro-shop
Outdoor speedball field
Current Pros:
Great staff
Great owner
Great fields
Good deals on paint and marker's along with accesories .
New brighter lights
Carry some of the best paint ever (Kick'n Paintballs)
Current Cons:
Indoor field is still midly slippery
Keep Up the good work guys !!!

This place is great..
Where else can you plan on playing without even thinking about the weather?
The staff and refs are great.. Any questions problems etc.. They are always on it...
The play is great, you have to field indoors, the ground is covered with mulch... Makes for an easy play.. (I usually play in the woods)
The refs are good people.. they constantly crono, making sure everyone is safe and fair.. and they do a great job.. Seriously...
They are in the game constantly, assisting and cheking for hits.. (Usually taking a lot of shots in the process...
hehe...
If you are new to the sport, I suggest playing here.. There are a lot of players who have not played very long, and the staff will anwser any and all questions....
The pro shop is great..
I had a problem getting my double trigger to work with my E-grip.... I spent probably 4 hours trying to get the thing to work...
On Sunday, I talked to the people there, and showed them my delema....
Now mind you this was at 6:50 p.m. they close at 7:00
To make a long story short, After 7:30, and power tools... They had my problem fixed!!!
Most places would of just told me we are closing come back some other time...etc...
The cost is 10.00 to play all day...
5.00 for rental.. (great deal there...)
And the paint is kickin... the case runs 55.00....
I split a case with a friend.. and we played the full day.... 4 hours.. they store any extra paint for you...
the following sunday I had 750 balls left, and that got me through the day!!!
Pros:
friendly staff...
good refs...
good pricing....
field play is great...
beginner/novice friendly
indoor
great pro shop
cheap rental
Cons:
yet to find them...
If you are tired of trying to get your friends togeter to play, or only have 3 ppl etc.. go there.. always a good pickup game.. I usually go by myself... People there are always friendly!!!!
