Review: This place is amazing!!! The field are freaking sick! They have 11 fields and they have 2 floor buildings! So Awesome!! Staff is nice and helpful! They know what they are talking about. Also the field is safe the refs make sure you use barrel socks and chrono your gun. The only bad thing is that it can be expensive.

Review: Fields: the fields at pnl are pretty good, ghost town, tee pees, spools and blue barrels. each with different games that can be played there. how ever the ghost town structure could use some refinishing, i played there about 4 years ago and just this month and it seems like the same damages are still present. rotted floor boards, slippery ramps and built up paint making slippery floors and surfaces.

Prices: costs are okay. it could be a bit less for players with own equipment, there not much of a difference from renting price. and the super increase of cost from the proshop and the field shop is in sane! i know its a convenience but charging $45 for a case at the front shop and almost $80 at the field is crazy mark up! how ever they do have free air all day which is a plus.

Safety: alot of the times i feel that many guns are not chrono checked enough or ever. me and my friends have been shot and had serious bruises and even had bleeding from a scraping paintball or two. how ever they do make sure that barrel socks and masks are all when they need to be but Chrono checking must be done more frequently! and when the refs are alerted they just brush it off because "they play here all the time, their guns are fine"

Game times: field time is good with many timed games or elimination type scenarios. HOWEVER the time between games is ridiculously too long! almost 20 mins or longer between some games you can be there from opening (9am) till close and only play a handfull of times, and they didnt even start a game untill 10am. time between games needs to be shorter!

Proshop: isn't anything to brag about, they have the basics but nothing i would go out of my way for. the maintenance pricing seems a bit high, got charged $15 to replace a ~$3 part. also the cleanliness of the shop is pretty poor. during which process they also damaged my gun and did not tell me, i noticed it later. they had to apparently cut out one of my screws to open the gun but they didn't just cut the screw the also cut the area around the screw and in return this also broke the trigger guard of my tippman.

Food: players can bring their own food or even have it delivered to the fields which is fine, they do have a cafe/kitchen that seems to open late ~1:30pm and not to much variety but the prices are okay. i would suggest bring your own food.

Paint: they paint they sell is no where near the best but they charge for it like it is. also they sell different paint to different people, let me explain. if you bring your own gear they sell you one paint, if you rent they sell you another. and apparently you can NOT use any other paint in the rental guns beside the stuff they give you. a team mate of mine got removed for using the wrong paint in the rental gun, even though the paint was purchased at the proshop. he was never told that he couldn't use a different paint.

Staff: the refs are usually okay, never really seen any disputes or warnings given but they do make sure every has their masks on and are clear on the rules. how ever my friends and i got accused of stealing equipment that we have owned for many years, only because it was of similar design or same brands, even though their stuff is colored/marked. they even went so far as to remove tubes from my vest and take them from me with even after some talking it over.

Players: the players are really great every one that is there is there to have fun, players at other tables will often share gear and extra paint or even food and water, never seen any fights or disputes out of games/fields.

over all i would give PnL a 4 out of 10, they need to fix their damaged fields and change the timing between games, check and regulate chrono better and better mark and post they regulations regarding equipment and paint usage. and they should think about adjusting their pricing and see about some better staff policies.

Review: PNL 1-10 Scale. {10 being the best}

Safety: 2
The refs and field personel did not check the chrono of the guns until someone's hopper was shot through. It made A big hole in the front of the A-5 hopper and exploded in the hopper. After the guy complained several times to the ref's they finally checked everyones guns. The guy who hit the gun was shooting 367 and was able to stay and play after fixing the gun. I was also told some people had frozen paintballs. {Refs didn't check} The only positive is they make sure you have your barrel sleves and face masks on at all times.

Fields: 10
They have 10 different fields, So there is definately fields for everyone. Ghost town is cool except we had 50 vs. 30 and you couldn't get out of the jail and back to the town without shots exploding everywhere around you. {Still fun} My favorite field would be the Bowling alley which is long and narrow with plenty of stuff to hide behind. Alot of people liked the spools best because there was alot of action.

Hours: 10
They are open 9:00 a.m.-4:00p.m. plenty of time for some great games. Also you can reserve the field at later times with A reservation.

Prices: 7
$30 for entrance to the field and all day air., Paint starting at $40.

Rules: 4
I gave it A 4 because it goes back to the safety.

Services and Proshop: 7
The proshop is kind of small

Staff and Refs: 6
Nice people, Helpful people except when it comes to chronoing the guns. {See Safety}

Players: 10
Everyone on my team seemed like good guys {7 of us walked on and joined the walk on group} The other team of people talked to us between games, Even the guy who was shooting 367 seemed like A good guy just A lreal dangerous.

Food:10
I didn't eat there this time, But real cheap prices on the food. Check there site for prices.

Overall I give this field an 8, If they start checking the guns I would give it A 10+

Review: I have been to P&L several times over the years and have had a good time every time, but my latest visit was by far the best thanks to the ref "Happy". Myself and a group of friends came to kick off a bachelor party celebration. We were playing in the open games; having decent time, but not as much fun as we were expecting. Part of it was all the games were single elimination with a ton of other people and we would get out fairly quick. Happy noticed us and came over to chat, after talking for a bit he offered to run a few games with just out bachelor party group. This was what we came for, we had a blast shooting each other, the most fun being a 5v2 game were the 2 were defending a building.

Everyone wants to come back, so we will be planning another event; next time we will pay the extra and have a private group, I hope Happy will be there to be our ref!

One last note the snack bar prices were very reasonable, other places really fleece you on food purchases.

Review: This past weekend was my first time playing paintball, and I came in feeling a bit nervous. However, the staff here, namely, the ref "Happy," helped me to feel comfortable and welcomed at the field. I arrived as part of a bachelor party, and Happy helped us out by ensuring that not only did we get to play as a team, but that we got to have a battle against the bachelor and best man, as well. The various locales that we played at were of great variety, although the first match of the day had far too many people in a smaller course playing capture the flag. However, the next location, in which we stormed a ghost town, was my favorite. The third scenario, "Civil War," was great in theory, with each side lined up and taking one shot, then the remaining survivors moving one step forward. There were a few cheaters taking multiple shots and not going down, but again, the concept, if improved on, could be amazing. The fourth match that I played was in defense of "Bartertown," a small ramshackle fort that worked well when the enemy surrounded us on all sides. The final few battles involved the bachelor party, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, I rank this course an 8 as some of the younger refs need to pay a little more attention to those clearly getting hit but just wiping it off, as well as due to a bit of overcrowding in that first battle (and again later at Bartertown). I'd definitely come back though, and again, many thanks to Happy for making my first time paintballing a memorable experience, and for helping the bachelor party to start off on a high note!

Friendly Fire and Canobie
Review: It's a nice field with a variety of game modes which will keep you interested and excited. I really like the ghost town because of the CQC feel and it gets pretty intense. The pro shop is nice, clean and employees were helpful and knowledgeable. I plan on coming back to this field since I found out it's real close to my parents restaurant (Orchid of Hawaii). There are some things I'm concerned about but could be easily fixed

Safety Issues

**Chrono Regulation **
The first time i went there, I did not see any official stationed at the chrono area. 280 FPS is the max but when I went to chrono my gun, I had to ask another player what the limit was. Unlike Friendly Fire and Canobie, self equipped players are marked (colored ziptie) showing it is chronoed and approved by an official to prevent shooting "Hot." Basically anyone could go about, shoot real hot and injure players. Though, the players there were honest and played by the rules but anyone could shoot hot until someone brings it up which isnt safe at all.
I suggest having an official present in the chrono area and some kind of indication that the guns are safe.

**Ghost town Ramp**
When I came, it was sunny but the fields was still wet by the snow melting away. When we were brought to Ghost town, the ramps leading to the 2nd floor staging area was still wet and players were literally slipping and falling. Even holding on to the railings was tough enough. Players lost good paint and this happened to at least 4 players.
I suggest installing some rough material on the ramp because it was pretty dangerous, anyone would run, slip and hit their head *knock on wood*

Besides these two safety issues, everything else was kept in check as in barrel sleeve, mask on, no blind firing, and checking hoppers for crappy paint

Minor Issues

**Dead Man don't talk**
Other fields I've been to reinforce this specific rule since it is considered cheating but during the safety briefs, none of the officials said anything about it. During the spool field game, dead players on the sidelines were screaming to their teammates giving intel. This happened quite some time but later on the day, I think different official was there and when it happened again, he turned around and said no talking when dead.

Canobie Paintball, which I think is a great place!
Review: I know I'm more than a few minutes late to the game on this one but I have to agree with gary12445. I found PnL to be extremely unsafe. I arrived later than my friends because I live the farthest distance away, I received no safety briefing and the refs did not even seem to notice that there was an extra person with our group. While doing their "Seal team" scenario I was personally hit from a distance of about 3 feet by another player who crawled under the tower I was in and blind fired through a hole in the floor. This broke the skin and caused immediate and sever bruising (and I'm not trying to whine here), and when I complained to the ref and the offender's gun was Chronoed he was shooting at 450FPS! That is just flat out dangerous, and could've penetrated a mask with hard shell paint. Further more while in their town field, several players both with my group and on the other team fell hard on ramps which looked as though they had not been cleaned of excess paint in months. Also while in the same setting a buddy and I had a guy at point blank range and requested surrender, at which point he simply grabbed my friend's barrel and tried to wrestle his marker from him, needless to say I lit the offender up at close range. When this was brought up to the most senior ref we could find, not even a warning was issued! The only other filed I've played at was Canobie, and I know that grabbing another players gun would've resulted in ejection from that field. Their fields are creative, however and out of 10 for that I'd give them a 9, and that's only because the "Seal Team" scenario really shouldn't be 9 vs 40. But On Safety I give them a zero.

Review: i like this place a lot but one thing that could be better is the game types. every time i been there i have played the same types of games and it would be better if they mixed it up a bit. nothing against their match types they are fun, my favorites are Take the Town, assassination and d-day. They do play like seven game types but it would be nice to see something new. ghost town is great. its pros are it awesome, it different than any other place because it one of a kind, it big and it has two floors. it cons are its so big if your team gos the other way you shoot at your team mates half the time, the down stairs gets really muddy and the ramps get very slippery. i love the teepees and the wall is great. the wall is like a 200 ft long building like 30 ft high and one team generally attacks and the other defends. they dont have flush toilets but they have a snack shack with good burgers. i would have given it a ten if the had full bathrooms and maybe an indoor field.
