I have been to this course many times, the staff is VERY helpful and nice. But i am sorry guys, it is a huge rip for how expensive it is. The bunkers are now slashed and everyone cheats. I don't think you are supposed to hold up a bunker while your shooting..? I can understand, wiping is part of the game but not when you fully put a rope on a guy and his best bud (the ref) says hes clear as hes putting his hand from his head to his thigh. I am not gonna pay 60 dollars, to play with a bunch of cheaters on a terrible and slashed field. The scenario course it cool, i like it, it is unique, but the speed ball is a joke. Last time i went, i played against their team with mine, the refs were COMPLETELY unfair siding with their team and letting them get away with EVERYTHING. This has made three of my guys quit, seeing how much of a-holes r playing in are area. Come on you guys, lower the price or give us better quality... (this is just the basics)
1)Overly helpful staff that absolutly kick ass. Norm and J-Dogg helped me fix a leak in my gun for no cost!
2)Players there are all nice guys and very trustworthy. Not much cheating or fighting and when there is the managers are there to deal with it.
3)Paint, admission, and air are extremely cheap! 45-60 for great paint, 15 admission, and 5 for CO2 and 4500 psi.
This field is great for beginners and those with more experience. Everyone is nice and helpful. This field has basically become me and my friends' home field besides my ranch. The scenario field with the VW bugs, boats, and towers is absolutly amazing! Great speedball field as well even though i dont play it much. Only 2 fields for now but the story is there is another speedball field coming soon! Come over and check it out!!!
Is this field still alive and running? I want to get back into paintball and want to know if this is still a place to play. I havent played since Big Boys Toys still had there Santa Margarita park open, but that was a long long time ago.
I have played at Gorrila Paintball field in Bakersfield and it is a nice field (indoors) but i like the enviroment at Breakout way more. I have fun every time im at breakout.
Directions to the Field:
On creston road by franklins lake.

Very cool scenario field, Very creative with the bunkers. Justin and Norm run the field now and take good care of it. They have a awesome speedball course. Right now there is only two fields but they are both really cool. Everyone there is friendly and MOST of the time plays by the rules. If a safety violation is broken Justin takes care of it. Very cool place.
there really aren't any other fields in the area that are worth playing at there was brads but that was about it unless there were private fields. the only fields in the area are in lemoore and cx but other than that there isn't really anything else.
Directions to the Field:
out on creston road by franklin ponds.

since jon sold the field ot J-Fro's family the speedball field has been well kept and j fro does it himself i know he is trying but the reffing and safety isnt really top notch although it is great the atmosphere is great my team (now called team atrocity) plays out there ever4y weekend and its lots of fun its great everyone is friends out there. We need more teams to play against and its a lot of fun you should go out.
I gave this field an 8 because of the reffing and the safety arent top notch but its still a great field and lots of fun.
this field OWNS our team practices here almost every weekend, and its awesome. go here!! The owner of the park (JFRO) is awesome..theres only 1 speedball course though, but its alotta fun. and then the senario course there is also awesome. Its the only place on the central coast to go ballin to, so its really awesome.
hsp but there are no other fields in the area besides this one

This field is awesome... i go there every weekend, and it gets better every time i go.
For being the only field anywhere on the central coast its awesome. it has a speedball course, and a huge senario course. You can bring your own paint, or buy paint there, and there paint is just as cheap and good as any thing else.
all in all, for being the only course on the central coast, its awesome. i give it a 9 out of 10, only becuase i'd like there to be more fields, but the owner of the course is building an indoor course as of right now. its alot of fun!!

Good field considering its the only field close to me. New field owner not as great but still very helpfull and nice. Only 2 fields not 3 only 2 but he might make an indoor course!! yea great field!!
Price:
entrance 15$ and all day compressd air is 5 dollars and paint is 45 for the cheapest co2 is 5 dollors a fill.......very cheap price for what you get!!
Breakout is awsome! right now there are two fields, speedball & scenerio, but they are building another speedball i heard. The refs are good, and the owner is always there. He is always running around fixing little things and if your gun bresaks, he trys to fix it at no cost.the onl;y bad thiong is there is a small hill but you don't notice it when you are playing. it is cheap too, 45 for a case of paint and 15 for entry.
-this is a great field.
Being the only field in the area, it's one that I'll be returning to. If there were other options, I'd definately try them though.
The paint isn't a rip off ($60 for proball platinum) and entrance is cheap ($15), but you get what you pay for.
The local team was playing there and thought it would be fun to play all the amateurs. So it was 8 of them vs 7 strangers. I'm sure you can guess the outcome. Instead of trying to help and teach the amateurs, they enjoyed the ego boosting. After a couple games of that, they decided to take a break.
The rest of the day was 4v4 or 3v3, and it was a lot of fun then. The ref was nowhere to be seen, but he wasn't that needed since it was a good group of people at the field now and we were all honest.
The scenario field was neat with the overturned beetles and pipes, but it was overrun with foxtails. They were annoying by the end of the day, getting stuck in pants and socks (and your shirt anytime you crawled).
Minefields is a good place if there are good people there. It's quite remote and there aren't too many avid paintballers around here, but it's the only place to go so there is a fair chance you can find a good game there.
