i think BZpbPark is the best. i love the village that they have put in. the forts are awesome to. i would have to say i have had some great times playing at BZ. the upkeep on the park is cool and i would like to see what happens in the future with the park since i herd there was an indoor Field going in that should be awesome.
The owners and refs are extremely nice. My gun wasnt working because I lost a piece of one of the refs gave me the piece off of his gun. The speed ball course is great, but it is a little small. The wooded courses are great. There are a lot of younger kids that play here, but thats ok. Good field fee and paint prices. They got N2 fills now which is awesome. All in all this is a very good field. More experienced players and new players will come once they play here. It is a great field. Tell your friends!
This is the primary field that I play at. I like the location of the speedball fields and woods fields close together. The owner is always trying to improve things. The prices are reasonable especially when compared to Splatterpark. I also like the quick access to CO2 and N2 by the fields. To get air at 68 caliber you have to get in your car and drive up to the HQ. I play with 4 children and this can get rather tiresome after a while.
The village woods scenario is a nice change with the buildings even though I prefer speedball.
It's not as large as Splatterpark so it seems more friendly. The players get more comradery which is a plus for children.
The only bad thing I can say is that I wish the speedball field was grass for better sliding but thats not a big deal.
We had a private Birthday party at Battle Zone in May. We were greeted with excitement and kindness from all staff members and operators of the park. They provided us with a wonderful area to store all our needed party items and gear. They greeted all the parents and children with wonderful attitudes, and even played 'Happy Birthday' on the guitar. We were very impressed.
As far as a paintball park, they were great. The location was easy to get to, and once there, all items needed to rent or purchase were available at a fair price. The staff members treated all with respect and were more than helpful. The areas of play were well constructed and clean. I felt comfortable with the children there.
The overall play of the park was excellent. There was plenty of adults watching over the games for safety and good sportsmanship. Our children stayed until close and did not want to go home. We will, and have return on a regular basis.
We give this paintball park and its owners a great 'thumbs up" !
Let me start by saying the people who run Battle Zone are very pleasant and helpful. This is how a field should be run (take note Splatter Park). The fields are good and fairly wide. The width of the wooded field allows for more strategy than many parks. So many parks have very narrow rectangular fields which do not allow for any strategic maneuvers. Though Battle Zones field are wider than most it is still rectangular (square would allow for more flanking and what not) but A+ when compared to other wooded fields.
They also have a field called “The Village” which I have mixed emotions about. It is fun and not so fun all at the same time. When people are really aggressive it is a great field and a lot of fun. So many times though scared kids will camp out in a building and I will have to go in and get them. In turn they get lit up and I just get pissed that I have to do twice the work. Note this is not really Battle Zones fault but girly players that need to find a new hobby.
As for the speedball it is sup-air but small. It is fun with 3 man; 5 man is cramped (I realize it might be a “5 man” field) but sharing a bunker gets old real quick. It also has a fine gravel base which I like pretty well. It made for a lot of sliding action with no mud.
One thing I did not like was the choice of paint. They only had 3 or 4 kinds (some just different grade of the same brand). It is a field paint only place which is fine but they really need to step up the paint selection. NO PMI PREMIUMS or anything else I would actually buy by free choice. “Box o junk paint” was $48 (not a bad price but not great either); “Box o junk paint” at 68 Caliber is $40 (last time I was there) and I am pretty sure it is the same junk (PMI premiums are $54 at 68 Caliber by the way).
I did not get a chance to play at night but it sounds fun. I find it hard to get out in the mornings sometimes, so night play would be great.
All in all I had a fun day at Battle Zone and would recommend it. I think this park will get better with age (they have plans for new fields) and I expect good things from them. So you might ask is it better than Mohawk or 68 Caliber? I don’t think it is better or worse just a new place to play. I don’t want to see any of the fields shut down because of economic competition so mix it up and just play more!
I HAVE PLAYED AT MOHAWK AND LIKE BATTLE ZONE MUCH BETTER IT IS LESS CLUTTERED AND THE FIELD ARE KEPT FREE OF LARGE BRANCH'S AND IS SET UP NICER AND HAS BETTER GAMES

THIS FIELD IS GREAT FOR PEOPLE OF ALL AGES THEY LOVE TO HEAR PLAYERS IDEAS FOR GAMES TO PLAY AND ALSO TRY TO KEEP IT SAFE AND THE HUTS,CASTLES AND BUNKERS ARE SET UP GREAT FOR ALL KINDS OF GAMES ....I LOVE THE SPEEDBALL COURSE AS WELL THE ALSO HAVE GREAT NIGHT GAMES AND WILL SET THEM UP WHENEVER PEOPLE CAN GET A FEW PEOPLE TO PLAY IT IS JUST AWESOME
I wanted to do something different for my sons 14th Birthday, and since all they seem to do on the weekends is play paint ball, I thought what a perfect thing to take them to do. When I researched Battlezone on the internet, I was really impressed with all the reviews about how friendly they were and the safety they showed. I also noticed they had a night game scheduled. WOW! That would be cool! My son could hardly wait! The owner called me directly to help me organize everything and even cleared a place where we could set up our tents and have a BIG fire! Dave the owner even started the fire and kept it going while we were watching the boys play speed ball. It turned out to be a GREAT expereince for everyone. We had kids that had never played before and they had a blast. They even opened the speed ball course for them, and that was a real treat! The boys played the refs for a paintball gun, and one of our boys won! I was really impressed with battlezone and would highly recommend them to anyone. As a matter of fact, the friends that came with my son are now talking about having their birthday party there. Thank you so much battlezone and Dave, you went over and above my expectations!
