Review: This is a real nice field Usually they connect both fields so its really Big. They have alot of tournaments there and other events like ref-training by the NEW YORK DOGS. They have a lot of snaks compared to other indoor fields. They have statues a preety nicely decorated. In the field they have towers. They have comtrole over the games (unlike high velocity when it was 31 v.s 31. I strongly suggest people to go play at Island's Paintball Arena!

Review: The field setup is usually really good because they have many good bunkers an a nice long field. The workers and refs are nice not like in Hivi where te refs throw paint at you. The guys know every gun inside and out so if your gun craps out they will fix it. Great service and great playing field.

Review: I think the two above me had filled it pretty well. But i'll recap.

-GREAT field setup
-CLEAN
-GREAT service
-So many nights with byop and other specials
-MANY tournaments
-HUGE staging area

Arena eliminates the problems of other local indoor fields. Arena has constant BYOP and other specials, has a floor that can be cleaned every other game, refs that REF (not watch), GREAT SERVICE. I CANNOT stress that enough.

Review: Ahhhh... Paintball Arena.
A nice place to go and play!
It's an indoor field that is in an "L" shaped configuration, broken up into two playing areas. A running theme of the ancient Romans and gladiatorial combat is repeated throughout the facility. Faux stone work with arches, a bust of a gladiator or centurion, give it a coliseum type of aesthetic.
Usually on thursday nights the field is combined into one, allowing for some more "breathing room" all the while retaining the game's close quarters intensity. This is after all, indoor, not a woods game.
The playing surface is carpeted, which makes for some great slides and has the ability to keep a sure footing while running to that next bunker. I believe it's the same type, or very similar to the surface used at skyball, and other big tourneys.
One area of the field(speedball) has inflatable bunkers/barricades that are self contained, no annoying air lines running on the ground like some 'sup air types. These inflatables are moved around from time to time to provide different types of play. On the other side are bunkers made of camo netting on a framework, along with two elevated shooting platforms eight to nine feet in height, made of the same. Along the field are spectator areas, behind netting of course.
All guns are chronoed before play to a field limit of 250-255 FPS. There is semi -auto, and full-auto play allowed. Air fills are CO2 or Nitro/HPA.
The staging area is large, with long tables and chairs to set up your equipment. Time between games is quick, with a sweeping of the playing area every couple of sessions, which allows everyone to rest and cool down, go to the bathroom, etc.
There are bathrooms, and large sinks to clean your barrel, etc. Drinks are sold along with some paintball equipment if you should need it.
As for rental equipment, they use automags available with nitro, or CO2. JT masks for the face. Or you can bring your own rig.
Prices for paint and play are good, and they have two BYOP nights during the week! All other times are FPO unless otherwise stated on their website.
I believe they sell three brands of paint, but I only remember two of them. One is a ZAP variant, the other is chronic(also from zap).
Paintball arena is usually open during weeknights, and open all day weekends, but they will open for private groups at other times.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Safety is paramount to them, as it should be. If you have questions, they have answers! Reffing was good too. They made the calls as needed, and are well trained. Paintball arena also holds reffing certification classes for those who are interested.
Before a game I had a problem with one my guns, they fixed it in no time flat and got me back on the field. It's nice to see customer care still exists.
Overall, a great experience!
So enough reading, Go PLAY!
