Combat Zone consists of a pro shop and one field. They also do repair work. The owner of the place is Derrick. He was once a marine, so he knows a lot about combat. It doesn't cost a lot of money to play, except on BYOP day (their paint cost $18). The field was once covered in paint on top of cement, but they've changed that. Now 2/3's of it is covered in sand. Not only is it slippery (wear boots or cleats), but it gets in your gun and screws it up. How do I know this? I know this because it screwed up my gun when I fell, so here's a tip: DON"T FALL IN THE SAND!!!

Space Coast Paintball, Oceola Extreme Sports, Palm Bay Public Paintball Park.
They are all better than this one
It is an indoor field with Cement and no carpet. i think they hardly clear the paint off of the floor. so if you go to run or slide or dive you'll just end up sliding a couple feet. with the exception of a few people here it is mostly newbs and a few good people. the people here are tippmann and mongoose obsessed and they think that those are some of the best guns in existance.
there is not many rules really unless you get hit and you get out. many people here wipe. Before the games even start and when their picking teams, everyone is shooting there guns like mad men (or as they say, they are testing their guns before the game). the possibility of getting hit on accident is very high.
If you have the time to make it to this field, think about going to a different one because there are plenty in this area and it will probably be better than this one anyway.
during my trip here it was after church and i was watching a game. i happened to bring my gun with me so i decided to play a few games. as soon as i walked into the waiting room i saw a bunch of people with cammo on (this was a speedball course and its the only one they have.) since they only had one field, which was the speedball course, i had no clue why they were wearing cammo. there were signs everywhere saying to put your mask and barrel plug on until the game started, but i found hardely anyone doing this. on my first game i noticed to the floor was very slick because of all the left over paint and the floor was concrete.
once the game started, i ran to the 30 (or should i say slided). i shot this one guy in the head and then slipped and fell while snap shooting because i wasn't quite accusdomed to the paint all over the floor. while i fell some guy shot me.
on to game two
during this game i had a much better strategy. not to slip. this time i made it to the fifty taking out ten or twelve people and then ran out of paint. they said i could leave the field go get more paint and continue playing (which i found rather odd). after getting paint and returning to the front of the field i shot the rest of the newbs like it was target practice and then the game was over.
after all of this, i left the field because it was so stupid. if your an experienced player, it may get kind of boring because of the swarms of newbs with their spyders and tippmans (i now have an impulse).
but if your a newb, this is a great place to go because it is a learning experience i guess.
i gave it a one because it is the most boring, lame, & stupid field i have every been to. and practically none of the people follow the rules or know how to play paintball.
if you have the time to drive, take a trip to space coast paintball a little bit further north then coming to this horrible field. space coast paintball will blow this field away. by the way if you get board here, there are no other fields to go to because this is the only one
This field is sweet. The refs got better. They have tournaments often that are only $150 per team most of the time. They have a good airball field. They clean the field more. They have carpet now on the field instead of sand and that is better....MUCH BETTER. My gun messed up so bad because i slid and sand was jammed in it, but they fixed my gun for free. They have lots of guns to buy. The paintballs are $15.99. But on BYOP day you could buy paint (in bags of 500) from $7.99 to $18.99. It cost $10.00 to get in. It cost $15 to get in if you bring your own paint on BYOP days. All day air is $5. They are building a new part of the field to. It will have two story buildings so u can snipe, but I like the airball field a lot. I am not sure what this new field will look like or when it will be done, so i will keep watching and going paintballin'. I liked the urban field a bit better than the airball one, but it is still fun.
PS the guy behind the counter is very nice and he is the owner and his name is Derrick, but everyone calls him Coronal.
Be there so i can beat you in paintball
