I played on both the main field and the bunker course with about 20 people.
The owner is very friendly and the ref's, who volunteer, are great. They help you out with cleaning and other stuff and will BS with you between games. Overall, great experience. $12 entrance fee $6 / 100 paintball $100 / 2000. CO2 prices listed below are still accurate.
The main field is large enough so that when you start you cannot see the opposing force. There is a valley in the middle and a good amount of flat ground behind each "base". There are a variety of games to all choose from. For the most part, bunkers are all natural, which someone had complained about, but I thought this was excellent because it gives you the real feel of being in combat.
There are two bunkers, with a downstairs with peep slots for the defenders and also an upstairs. With our group of 20, 6 individuals held the bunkers 2 out of 3 times as it is quite difficult to advance. An accurate gun is a must for attackers, and if you defend bring plenty of paint that round.
It was a great experience and I plan on returning. Plenty of food options and game options. I give it an 8 for great experience but lack of comparability to other fields due to my inexperience
Zumbro Valley- Amazing+Airball Field
I always have the choice each year between Run-N-Gun or Zumbro Valley and well obviously I choose Zumbro Valley.
This place has good land but the bunkers are dated and need work. They are just pieces of old plywood. The refs are good and people are friendly over all good set up just need to update bunkers and change speed ball field it is extremely small! Good woodsball bad if into speedball. Fix anyones guns not just their rentals. I like that. Also paint isn't bad $7 100, $12 field fee. So all in all if you are into woodsball and live around there give it a try. I personally don't care for it because a few of my friends have better bunkers and fields than they do. But if you don't have a field at a friends house or don't want to go to Zumbro Valley or Paintball Plus, then you should maybe try Run-N-Gun. 4 0ut of 10.
They charge $6.00 per hundred, .10 cents per 100psi for air .30 cents per oz on CO2. $12 field fees. $7 marker rental and $3 mask rental. Here is a deal, free air on rental guns. ZVP, give you a N2 tank if you have CO2 and free refills, you just pay $7.50 per hundred.

This field is getting old, but after talking to the referees, this year the field will be totally remade. This is good considering the bunkers were not made very well. The speed ball field will be worked on, but mostly enlarged, as i did not even know i was on it. (yeah, its that small.) The markers are very good for rentals, and paintball prices are reasonable. The referees were so totally awesome, they helped me clean my mask off, there was one time they did it and i didn't even know it. The owner allows plenty of time between games to reminisce about the experience so all players are enjoying there time. The owner also has a decent selection of concessions, and also can prepare a grill, so food is not a problem. The referees were very professional, so this field is given a 10!
Contrary to the review posted by a Zumbro Valley Paintball ref listed here, this field is great. Also, paint (as can be seen on their website) is only $6 per 100, not $7
Nice large CTF field that is also used for president and fox/hound games. Nice fort attack/defend field. Yes, the speedball course is a little small, but speedball isn't my thing anyway.
The staff is top notch and very responsive.
Yes, the field does not use prefab construction kits to set up their bunkers and prefer to use the terrain to it's fullest potential, I see this as a plus, not as a detraction from the field. This is beautiful land and gives the feeling of playing with a bunch of friends in the woods by using deadwood as bunkers.
I'd recommend this field for anyone that would like to get out in the woods to not just enjoy painting people, but to enjoy the woods.
Well the refs were organized and would clean you guns for you thats basically the only up. The bunkers were only logs and pieces of junk. But the "speed ball Field" is made out of wood bunkers and so small. It's $12 to get in and $7 a 100.
