Review: This field is ok except for the stupid waiting time inbetween games. It takes them about 20 mins till u can sit on the benches to get rdy. Then it takes another 20 mins till u acutually walk out on to the field. Also this place is a huge turnoff because of the entrance. U have to drive about 1-2 mph on that damn road or else ur shocks will wear out. Once u get to the parking lot, u will see a worn down shack. That is the main counter. The field is alright, nothin special. I only go here because ace is closed because of the rodeo.

Review: The feild is a great place to play at they do have HPA now but then again any serious player will have there own scuba anyways.

+
Great space and plenty of bunkers for large or small groups.
Private groups during week or weekend.
Great atmosphere for new comers( I know allan is a bit much but he only gets on your case if your being an ass).
Cheap refills $1 9oz. goes up by $1 each size
-
bit anal about plugs, but hey rather loose an eye?
paint is a bit expensive but hey thats easy to get around any ways.
wait time is long if there are alot of people. but its for refilling and packing so its time well spent.

over all it needs a new station other than the trailer and a bigger sign than the plywood board leaned against the gate but other than that its a great place for the whole family and players of all levels of play.

Review: Great field for a rec-baller. Not so good for pros. More woodsball than speedball, but sometimes one guy brings his sup-air field and they have tourney's on it.

The best thing about the field is the same thing lots of people complain about - the owner's stance and attitude towards SAFETY.

I for one appreciate it when he ))$*)(#@)# at some idiot who's firing in the parking lot. I love this sport, but don't want to lose an eye playing it. Otherwise, he's been really nice, as long as you're nice to him... and keep those goggles on. I even forgot to plug my gun at the end of the last game of the day, and he just remineded me (nicely) to plug.

Otherwise, the mix of players and the attitude of the other players (at least today) is really good. People seem to come to this field to have a good time... not play tourneyball/"light-up-the-noob-ball". This is a great place for new players to the game (IF they can follow simple directions). It's places like this one that help our sport grow.

So if you're a noob... come on out. If you're a dedicated recball player... come on out. If you're a tourney player just looking to have a good time... come on out. If you're a tourney player looking to shoot up some newbies and feel good about it, stay the @#%@&^! home. (tongue planted firmly in cheek =-)

I'm going back for sure.

Ace Paintball blows away Action by far!!!!!
Review: Action paintball must be one of the worst fields I have ever played at in all of my paintball career. The entrance and road entering in the park is enough to turn off a new player; I think the potholes are about three feet deep. As you finally make your way to the parking area you notice a brown shack that looks as if the fire marshall needs to pay a visit to make sure it is up to code. I know that the excitement in paintball is what is played on the field; but let's face it we all enjoy asthetically pleasing areas to play in. The referee's don't ref correctly, as they give players who play there often a lot of freebies and are extremely strict on new customers. My two cents.

Review: You have to walk for an hour to play your first game, there are few refs and they actually play while they referee and are little jerks on the field to everyone. It's nothing but jungle ball and not real paintball, lots of brush and top cover so it's hard to shoot accross the field since you hit nothing but brush.

The owner is the king of his little ant hill and acts like it. He is abusive twards players and so is his son and when he does play he plays dirty. He takes advantage of the amount of people on the field and players extending the dead box so he does deadman walks and gets off on shooting little kids in the back of the head.

Don't play this field. Awful.

Review: This is the best field in sac if you want to go out with your friends and have a good time. It has really good terrain and is fun if you like sneaking up on people. The only thing is that they take the 10 min to take of the mask when if they didn't they could fit in probably 2 or more full games. Once again, this field rocks!

Review: well.... i personally like the field. they do have very strict rules such as masks on and barrel plugs in. the dont let you forget it! they play 5 sessions with 2 20 min games each session with bout 10-20 minutes inbetween. i got in good with some of the regulars and one of the guys that runs the field so i dont get yelled at. but you do have to be carefull. ill admit they do take it too far but play smart and you will be fine. usually the other players are helpful and cool. one weekend had gun problems and each time durring the break i had several players helping me out. OH THEY DO HAVE HPA FILLS AT THE FIELD NOW.i think it is 10 bucks all day for 3000 or 4500 psi fills. games go from 930 am to 4 pm. bring a lunch, cleats, balls, and a good attitude!THEIR UGLY TOURNEMENTS ARE AWESOME.......CHEATERS CANT CHEAT

Review: Really folks, the field is way not as bad as some of you say it is. Sure Alan might yell at you once or twice because you take your mask off, or you take your barrel plug out when you're dead, or stupid cheat stuff like that, but let's face it. He's worried about safety and that's why no serious injury has occured there. There are usually 100+ people there and he want's to make sure nothing happens and that nothing ever will. If you do not wish to abide by his rules, please don't play there. oh, and whoever said Alan was especially mean to nOObies, is full of it.

Walk on games are $10
Private games are $15
Walk on Rentals are $30 (with 100 balls)

(PROS)
for those who do wish to play there: It is a huge and really good field with many large trees, bunkers, and ( in some places) under brush. Most of the refs there are really nice and funny (specially Don) too. Also if you need your gun fixed, take it to them and they will have it working better than new in no time. Always have enough C02 fills. The Attack and Defend Base is totally awesome. They even out the teams if one side wins a few games in a row. Rental guns are pretty good compared to some fields.

(CONS)
I agree with that one dude, however, about how their speedball field is kind of small, but really the 2 starting points nearest the speedball field are not right on the speedball field, so if you wish you can play in the woods all you want. Their paint is kind of expensive, so buy it ahead of time. Unfortunately, no HPA yet, but im guessing they'll get it soon. It does take a little while to start the games however.

(if you do go there, pull on Don's gigantic mullet and tell him it's from scott)
((Don't shoot the Cows!!))

Good rental guns

Review: first of all the walk on price with all your gear is $10.
the employies there are VERY helpful.
no problems with cheaters (cheaters are sent home!)
the fields are really big
this feild is VERY SAFE, if you dont follow safety rules they will chew you up
they keep the teams even, if one side has a big advantage they will even it out
the feilds are wooded well and there are hills, creek beds and cows!
plenty of bunkers and bases

this is a great feild for people who just like to have a good time playing paintball. i wouldnt recommend it for the speed ballers out there though. gets a 9 because of all the times they have helped me out and i just love this place!
