I have played at the one on K-Bay, but the field was kind of bad, and the staff wasn't that helpful.

This is a great field, I love it. Because of the lack of really good X-Ball fields, Bellows has a great mix of woods and speed. They have the tapeline which is a great way to get some speedball-ish action combined with helping you team capture the flag. The refs are great, but a sometimes a little lacking. But the staff is great. They will give you free o-rings, help you fix stuff, and have a bucket full of excellent upgrades. They also do tank hydros for $22!
Well, I played at Nimitz and its alright but the field is small compared to Bellows. The First time i played at Bellows I realized that the field was huge. I like Bellows better because its more recreational and family oriented rather than just competitive. I like shooting my friends at Bellows but at Nimitz we get all mad and so competitive because its a speed ball field.

Bellows Paintball Field is a Woodsball orientated field. The atmosphere is friendly and so are the staff. The rules are simple and easy to understand. Its a mix of newbies and regular players on a daily basis. Usually their are more newbies than regulars so its fun for both. They sell drinks, they have a bathroom, they sell equipment, and many other stuff
I recently had another excellent experience with my son age 12 and his cousin age 13 at bellows. I especially want to commend the professional staff that make playing there so enjoyable. They are freindly and extremely helpful. I am not a veteran player so I always have questions and they happily answer them. They even helped me fix my gun (no charge) and took the time to show me how to fix it for next time. The field is awsome and the ref work hard at keeping it safe and fun. I love the way they mke sure the teams have equal talent. I highly recommend bellow for a great family paintball experience
Ive played here from when I first started paintball and its a good thing I did. They give you a great first time experience.Keith and his crew is very good. The head refs Mike and Shawn are really good people.Rules and chronoing is always strictly enforced. They play scenario games and traditional capture the flag games. They offer prizes(paint) for people who can win the games so its always that more exciting. They have a woods area for scenarion players and a bunkering allowed area for speedballers.Theres always a good turnout every weekend both saturday and sunday. The field is the largest in Hawaii as far as I know.It holds over 150 players at a time. They also have a hyperball field where you can play if you have enough players and they have enough refs for the day to cover their other field. They sell equipment for all your needs and the have gun techs available to help you with your marker. This field is great for speedballers and scenario players as well as newbs or experienced players.
Use their website, otherwise just take H1 West till you run into Bellows

I wasn't sure what to expect from paintball in Hawaii in the first place, second, even though I'm in the military, I didn't know what to expect from a field located on a military base. All in all, I was pleasently surprised with the fields and refs. They were very helpful to the new players, and were careful not to let the teams get stacked so the other side didn't have a chance. I'm used to more speedball than anything, so it took me a while to get used to their recycle rule and playing in the woods. The only real strike I have against this field is the required use of field paint. That might seem a bit petty, but I can get good paint for good prices. I give it a seven, it would have probably been a higher score if there had been more people out there interested in speedball rather than running through the woods, but that can't be helped. The course we stayed on all day was extremely well set up, with advantages on both sides.
Best to use their website as it has maps to get there.

I started playing at this field about a month ago after being invited to play with a couple of coworkers.. I Love this field! the woodsball field is awesome with lots of bunkers and areas to hide. I like the Recyle rule they have( only field in Hawaii that uses it)... Recyle is for the first 10 minutes of the 15 minute game if you get hit you can go tag your base and continue to play. The Refs and staff are very friendly and always willing to help out with gun malfuntions and strategies. some of the refs are young but they know their stuff and will usually stand up to the older people if someone is trying to cheat. It is family owned and operated with Keith and Lisa running the place very well. they have a 3000 and 4500 psi HPA refill station along with a CO2 refill station so you can use your own tank or thiers without any issues. the prices are very reasonable to me. $20 for field and air for the day and anywhere from $50-$60 for paint.( Field Paint Only) they sell soda's and gatoraid for $1 but no food so if not military you have to drive a bit for food. The rental guns are the best rentals i have seen( been playing off and on for years just not really experienced with all guns but these are good guns) The field is on a military installation so call ahead if you don't have the id cards to get on. The Pro shop is well stocked and have competetive prices for the sport and the owner is willing to work out deals if your a little short on cash. Keith also trades guns and gear on ocassions so if you want a different gun and can give up your current one he may make you a deal. Sean the Head ref is a standup guy, he usually gives the safety brief for the new players and is very strict on the safety on field. Barrel plugs on up till the game starts and mask on one you enter the field from the stageing area no exceptions.
The players range from 10year olds to 30-40 year olds. First time players to the fields toruney team and other pros who visit on ocassions. the games are great cause they have many senerio's and vary the size of the field to accomodate the amount of players.
Overall for someone who is starting out or someone who wants a change from tourney style play this field is great..
I rate this at a 9.5 outta 10 cause of the difficulty getting to the field and the fact that some of the bunkers need some attention and repair.

i've been playing paintball for roughly 11 years and ive been to this field like 3 times...first off let me just say that the management has gotten better.....refs are decent a little young though.....over all its a good place to play paintball. Field paint was kinda old when i was there the Chronic wasn't the greatest but what can you do we live on an island. i think my biggest problem was the safety...good safety breif very clear on the rules but the first game when you are getting chrono'd they tell you to keep your mask down at all times but when getting assigned to your teams the "im only guessing" Assistant head refferee is just chillin with his mask off on the field with people still on the chrono.....to me that dosen't make any sence you tell someone to do something and abide by the rules but you don't listen to them your self??? SAFETY FIRST!!! All sand so you can kiss diving goodbye unless you are donald trumps nephew and can afford new gear every weekend....not to much on there "AIRBALL" field like 6 air bunkers and what looks like and old office cubicle..... RATED 4-10 and i think that's just because im used to tourny ball not woods..
I've become a regular to this field since it is the only wooded recreation field on the island. This is a nice setup for the space they were alotted for use. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and if anyone says otherwise then keep in mind that everyone tends to have that one bad day here and there. The refs are extremely fair and friendly and want everyone to have as much fun as possible. They're also pretty open to trying new scenarios. The only con I can really say about this place is that the woods portion of the field is only used maybe once or twice a day but this is understandable since they dont always have the number of refs needed to cover the whole field. Also it requires a large number of players to open up the entire field for play anyways and you have to have enough staff watching out for safety issues. All in all if you want to paintball in paradise then check this place out and by all means have a good time. I give them a 10 because they give a great paintball experience with the limited space and you're not going to find any better field in Hawaii.
check out thier website, however it doesn't do it justice. It is near the Sea Life park on the the east coast of Oahu. Near the Mcdonalds. Also,on the bus route.

Check out this awesome woodsball field when your on the island. I had a great time and was greeted with generosity at every step. The new ownership is really going out of their way to make sure you'll have a great day. I even got a ride from the bus stop! The rental gun was adequate and the paint was very reasonable. The refs came up with creative games that made great use of the best field I have ever seen. It has evolved over fifteen years and must be at it's best. Thanks Keith and the rest of the awesome staff!
General- Have played at this field for over 4 years of my paintball life- per say. When I first played there it was owned by a different person than it is today, today the new owner is awsome, he will help you with anything you need. this field is very family oriented.
Staff-The staff and ref are always nice and will always enforce the rules
Paint-paint is Field paint only but they sell all grades at all prices
Cheating-I have in all the years I have played at Bellows paintball almost never seen cheating but when it happens, the refs are all over it.
Field-the filed is woods but it is alot of fun to play
conclusion-Great Field, Great staff, good fun for all players, I play tourney and I still enjoy this field so I give it a 10 out of 10
