Review: This was the most fun i have had playing paintball. The guys there are really nice the workers are cool and they split up the groups beginner and advanced ( the difference is the advanced players are allowed to bunker ) me and my best friend went here to have a good time and kill some sucky kids, we were the first ones to arrive ( free walks in Friday and free air all night. ) And we got worried when all the teens came in with jerseys and pants and all the junk just to make them look cool. I was the one out of the tree people i saw the whole night with tippmanns. Anyway we began to play the first game we played i nearly peeded my pants because when the whistle blows all hell brakes loose hundreds of ball come flying by you! I ment this guy with a A5, his nick names was paint-chip ( long story ) we used tactics and kicked peoples butts in the beginners, most of them, stink so we killed them. But all in all it was a blast, the refs are good and they wipe the bunkers off every games, they keep it clean, they have good eyes so when you get hit they see it. They have a upstairs where you can watch, its turf, every one there is nice, paint its35 bucks for 1000. Go there it rocks

Review: I went yesterday and had a blast the staff are great really nice to newbies if you need help on anything they will do it. The field is great has that fake grass stuff but is really slippery. When i was running to one bunker i almost slipped and fell. They even have a second story balcony where you can just watch them play or watch pb movies its a great place now go.

Review: Me and a couple of guys from my team drove (2 hrs) up there one Friday night, and it was well worth it ! The field & turf is off the chain. The pro shop is very nice (air conditioned) and prices are average. It was free entry and $55 a case, can't beat that with a wiffel ball bat. The staging area was a great size and had windows to vew the playing area and plenty of tables (just watch your stuff I had my beanie stolen and some outher playa had his ion stolen).

The ref's were a bit of an issue. They spent more time between games whiping down the bunkers and cleaning up paint on the turf (which is a great thing) except they really didn't ref the games much. They mainly stood there and watched or talked to their friends..

The only thing is it was hot as hell in there (it was like 90 outside and 95 inside) I guess they have plans of getting air conditioning for the field. I will defiantly roll up there again when they do or it cools down a bit outside.

1st year anniversary party was awsome!

rickz games ( the best in out area loads of fun)
Review: nvp is about 2 hour drive from were I live and me and and 5 buddies went up there to find out how nvp is. all I can say is that its worth the drive

pros.

turf floors ( im a big guy and I never really can side at other fields but I can here. you have jest enough slide and traction. its like a dream!!)

cheap

hpa fills

very very nice pro shop

a nice viewing area on top flow

very very nice people.

they clean the bunkers up and clear off the paint that didnít break on the ground out of the way. I was amazed to see them wipe down the bunkers every game.

refs are good and see whatís going on.

tons of fun

cons.

when thereís lots of people the games get really big and to me they get to big for what the field size is. the field size is not to big not to small but when it gets to be a busy day the teams are like 15 on 15 or more thatís too much. they should only have 10 on 10 or so a game.

its was hot inside while I was playing. its wasnít an humid hot but enough to make you uncomfortable. could be nicer if a little cooler.

but really the place is worth going to. I love it and im going to come back soon

Pro-Paintball (Victor-NY) Nice field, very fast play, but playing area little small, but has a large staging area with lots of room. Well stocked store with one stop shopping.

Pat's Paintball World (Rochester, NY) Nice moderate size field, plenty of room for good games, but staging area really small and could be crowded at times. Store has decent equipment in stock for beginners. Plenty of games and pop corn/slushy machine.

Compete paintball (Rochester, NY) Warehouse style field with large playing area. Staging area fairly large, but because of location could be questionable for unfamiliar players. Store not well stocked and cost of playing could be expensive.

Splattball Inc. (Rochester, NY) Warehouse style field, very large area approx. 60k sq. ft. Many rooms and urban warfare style of play. Lots of fun, but very dirty and small staging area. Very expensive to play.
Review: NVP-Paintball
By far has shown itself as being trend setters in the sport of paintball, especially here in Rochester, NY. This field and store brings paintball to a new level. The individuals that own and work at NVP know paintball, because they all are paintball enthusiasts themselves. The pros at NVP in their travels have shaped what we now know as paintball here in Rochester. All of them have contributed to the sport and even went as far as pro status in tournament play, playing on some of the best teams in the world. With all that knowledge they have built a state of the art facility that has to be the best looking field and store outside of L.A. Unsurpassed in the industry.

The field is fantastic. Whether you are a beginner or advanced you will find that there is plenty of room to run and to hide. It is a hyper ball field, so expect the games to be fast and intense, but allot of fun. The field boasts an astro turf floor that is great for cleats, but soft enough for sliding. For those of you who enjoy watching there is a great viewing area that overlooks the field. Did I mention the staging area? You will find that with 2 levels of staging area that there is plenty of room for you and your equipment. Although with any sport the cost could be pricey , you will find that the cost at NVP is very competative and reasonable. Keep in mind that with every entry you will get free air/CO2.

The store is probably the finest I have seen. Kinda reminds me of Galyan's or Dick's because it is very eye pleasing. Great for family shopping for paintball equipment. One stop shopping from barrel bags to complete gun packages, from beginners to professionals, you will find everything you need to play. The staff at NVP are very courteous and knowledgeable and would love to help you as much as possible. No question is stupid!......Take the time to visit NVP, you will find that you will not be disappointed at all.

Review: Nice field - turf rules! I had fun there being able to run and slide with no pads or nothing. I brought my friends and we had a good time hanging out with tippaman effect and the pro's that play there all the time.

I would go again and try to bring more friends next time. Even though we got killed when we played team trauma during open play I still want to get better and beat them someday.

My mom was mad because I had like 40 welts but I want to go back and try to shoot them again. One of the kids that worked there showed me how to "bunker" and he let me bunker him once. Next time I tried he shot me up bad.

Overall a awesome place and way clean. I only wish the guys that work there didn't play all the games so my friends and I could have a game with only spyders or something.

Review: NVP is probably the best field in the area along with GRC. They have a great proshop with everything you would need. The field is nice turf so you are not sore after. Everything in the place is clean even the bathrooms. After each game they swept the the paint shells on the floor over to the side and wiped the paint off the bunkers. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The X ball paint is also good unlike most field paint. Highly recommended that you go there and play it's so nice.

Other Fields
in the Area:
Indoor Splatball (postoffice)- $110/case plus entry fees, played on sawdust on concrete
Jello Factory- okay field, use scuba tanks for fills
GRC- very close 2nd to NVP- good fields (indoor and out)
Pat's Paintball- also a good field
ProPaintball-exellent store, field good but small
Compete- indoor was disgusting, outdoor location far (border of Williamson)
Punk's- outdoor only, makeshift bunkers
Joshua's Paintball Jungle- very limited times open/ outdoor only
etc,..etc,..too many backyard & woodsfields to list
Review: You can tell that alot of thought and planning went into this place, everything from the location (which is very centrally located-easy highway access), the field & turf (well maintained), the showroom(very roomy stocked with latest gear), the staff (friendly & knowledgeable), the bathroom facilities (clean), the fill station area, and the staging areas (plenty of room, lots of tables).

After my first night of playing here, I was addicted, playing with cleats indoor on XL turf is amazing. My back and knees weren't sore from kneeling on hard concrete with a thin layer of carpet. I have only played on their Tuesday "advanced players" night which allows you to jump in with and against the new Tippman Effect Xball team. If you're looking for competition on the field this is highly recommended.

Hotshots indoor volleyball courts being right next door you have access to their kitchen/bar/diner facilities. Gas stations, diners, indoor rockclimbing, bicycle shop, banks, etc,..surround NVP also add to the location.

The only thing that I can think of as a negative (if you want to be anal) is that the upstairs staging area doesn't allow you to view the entire field easily, BUT you can walk around the entire field behind the layer of netting without being shot to view the action.

In my opinion this field/store has raised the bar a few notches and potential new field owners should visit NVP BEFORE they build and/or design.
