i personaly do not know why everyone is complaining! I went to this field for my friends birthday, was it the best field ever heck no, but they have a great fields! The refs were nice to me, I dont know about everyone else but super nice with me. There were no 11 year old refs there eathier, they were all about 18. There fields are slightly small but there still fun. I'll be back there again i thought it was great place. (no im not high, i really like FPC)

I really do wish that they would read these and take into mind how crappy of a field they really do have. I really do wish that they would put more money into their fields, but who am I kidding, that will never happen. They have 11 year old refs who know nothing about this sport, they should simply be shut down. All in due time....
I have never in my 12 years playing, met people in this sport who have egos like those boys do. They talk smack about other players behind their back, other shops, etc etc. The fact of the matter is this, they believe that because they have been around so long, they in their own eyes, are the kings of the crop, when in fact, they are no more than Jesters.
I decided to be fair and give this field another chance. Because everyone does diserve a second chance, and what I came up with was worse than before, I decided to go in with my Spyder because I needed some upgrades to it. Well they had told me that it was Outdated. So I went down to Tackle Shack and gave those guys $200 Dollars of my money, money which was well spent.
The field they still can't seem to get right. The Ref's need to shut up and get into the games and simply not pick out their friends and give them a helping hand by calling them clean all the time.
So in closing I would love to simply say I had a good time, but I couldn't. That would be a complete lie. I wouldnt waste your time or money. If I could give it anything less than a one, I would.

-"Dude.......Whats the deal with Jon, somebody needs to tell that dude to quit riding his stupid ATV's around the place sprayin dirt and dust everywhere"
I have never seen Jon ride his ATV at the field, let alone start it up...
-"the x-bal field is ok but i heared it was missing a bunch of bunkers and theres big nails holding it down"
They took down 1 or 2 bunkers ( I think ) and they sometimes dont set the X up...There are stakes holding them into the ground, but there are tennis balls over them to make sure you dont get hurt on them...
-"There is only one ref and he is like 11 and is half my size, looks like he is 8. And he really didnt give a hoot about what was going on. When he left to the shop we couldnt play cause of no ref."
The 2 refs there are Rocko (Head Ref) and Jeff (hes 15)...Jeff is almost always on the field, and I am hoping to soon become a ref (if they want me to)...Also, if there were no refs out there, just call your own game...
-"The fields suck. Debris every where. One field was closed cause it was trashed with Nails and such."
Debris...I cant ever remember there being debris there, ever...And I dont ever remember a field being closed, if it was (which would be to ensure your saftey anyway), it isnt anymore.
---If you want to go to another field, go ahead...
Gladiator - Turf is great, but flooded with paint...The field (thats right 1 field) isnt the greatest, no matter how many times they change it...It takes like 5 minutes for a game to start, and they slit everyone into groups, so you are waiting even longer...The only ups on this field is that it is indoors and open during the week.
Thunderbay - Some cool fields, but it takes the pissy refs like 20 minutes to start a game...
Gator - Never been there
Florida Paintball Cntr - The fields are great...Free of debris, clean (until people play em all day), and fun...They have 4 fields, and you can combine 2 of them to play a big game (the wood one and airball)...The refs do the most they can, and most of the time will look and fix a screwed up gun for free...They all work their a** off...Atleast give this field a try, because it truly is the best field around here...
Dude.......Whats the deal with Jon, somebody needs to tell that dude to quit riding his stupid ATV's around the place sprayin dirt and dust everywhere. I suggest you try gladiator if your looking to play paintball around here. I have played here for a while but it seems like its gettin worse and worse, ive heard they are hurting for business or somethin, the refs are all my age (15) and dont do anything , i guess thats understandable since they work for free, I wanted to ref but when i found out they get like a bag for a whole day i was like no way. I went back after christmas lookin forward to playin some ball but once again got bored of sitting around Trying to get a game goin. And I heard Brad quit????? whats the deal there?? he was like the coolest guy thereand the only one who could fix like any gun you have, now theres just Ben who tries to be all cool and some goofy lookin dude in the shop who thinks he knows how to fix guns, (and he broke my Impulse). he said the reg was bad when it just needed to be set right (gladiator fixed it for free!) the x-bal field is ok but i heared it was missing a bunch of bunkers and theres big nails holding it down. Gladiator owns Painball in this area and you can understand why.
well what do I have to say about this place, it aint that great. There is only one ref and he is like 11 and is half my size, looks like he is 8. And he really didnt give a hoot about what was going on. When he left to the shop we couldnt play cause of no ref. Alout of players there though wanted to play with out a ref, which you dont do, though I didnt blame them cause he was never around. He also was talking more than working. Not much help with the guns. And man did those guns shoot like cheap .22 bolt action rifles. They are Tippmann 98c but they sucked. At one point a guy was 7 feet in front of me and I had to fire 10 shoots just to hit him. The balls went every where but straite. The players there are all hot heads showing off there guns and talking to trash to us few with rentals. The only nice players where the two with Wal-Mart guns that didnt want to waite for the ref. The fields suck. Debris every where. One field was closed cause it was trashed with Nails and such. All in all this place is only good in August when the field is free of charge just air and such has expense, also for you local guys in Pinellas county there is a Winghouse down the street which is real nice after a day of paintball like that.
This field is horrible.
The past 8 times I've gone, I've had to ref our own games. The only active ref there is 13 years old, which I give him some credit, you can't ref three games at once. The other refs are busy showing off there expensive guns, or de-flating, and re-inflating the X-ball field to make them look important. Last time I went I had to ref 4 different games, and I'm not even a ref there. Frank is a huge jerk, he tried scaring me by threatening to ban me from the field for wearing my mask OFF the field, that's right, AFTER I left the field. The wood field sucks now, the plastice field is alright, but never clean, the ground has little rocks sticking up out of it. The Hyperball field is alright in my opinion, but once again I had to ref every game I played the past 8 times Ive gone. Last week was the last time I am going there. If you want to go to FP without getting crap from Frank, try Fridays, he's not there sometimes on that day. Otherwise you'll see refs sitting and talking to other people [girls], dry firing there guns to look cool, or messing with the x-ball field for no apparent reason. Basically they do everything But ref the games.
Id suggest you take the extra drive to Gladiator or Gators.
This field I have played at for over 3 years I personally know the owner and all the ref's at this field.I understand alot of these post are old that refer to the wood fields which i'd like to add that there is now A X-Ball field , a hyper ball field, and also a plastic and a small wood field for the local rec ballers and tournament players. Also as for the owner who is John he is not a disgruntled owner. He is looking out for the safety on his field and keeping his field a fun place to play.Half of you on here that have posted I can guarantee are the "bad" of the paintball community. You are the ones that ball the rec ballers and give them the bad impression of the sport you are the ones who think you are too "Pro" to follow the rules.Next, as for the dogs you all are just trying to come up with anything you can to dis this place the dogs haven't ever pissed on anything at all so w/e.I know Joey from res-X is one of the trash talkers on these post and for him alls I have to say is you are just mad cause you were banned due to your hot headed personality and you lack of respect for everyone at our field. For the supposed 12yr old ref's ya we had alot of young ref's and the reason for that is to give them the chance to get into our sport and as for them being on power trips if you consider a power trip as being yelled at for not putting a barrel sock on and walking off the field or not having your mask down then you don't understand he did it for your safety not his own and any other ref of any other age would do the same. And for the prices being high well as far as I can tell the prices are on par with the other fields. So I think that about wraps this up I recommend this field to everyone and hope to see some new faces soon...
You people who give this a 1 you are crazy! they just an xball field about 3 days ago and it rocks! the owner maybe mean sometimes but the refs are okay even though they yell at you alot and they sit around firing blanks in there angels and timmys. overall thoough the fields make up for that stuff and i like this field alot and its really fun to be there. if youre in the area you should try it.

this place did not impress me at all, i would have rather gone out with my buddies and got wasted. The owner is a pretty nice guy, the refs werent bad, but its wayyyy to expensive for the quality of fields you play on. theres 2 fields behind the store which are not challenging or intresting at all. both are super small. everythings covered in paint, its not that hard to rinse off with a garden hose. they charged me to use my own paint on there 2 horrible fields. if i were you i would just go to gladiator paintball right down the road from here, its indoor atleast, still pretty much the same prices though. no offense to the owner, but ill never go there to play again, not worth the money. the store that the fields are behind is pretty nice though. variety of equipment at exceptional prices. just make sure to call before you go, they have crazy store hours.
This field has been completely made over. The staff there is a lot more professional, and more player friendly. Herb is great, the backbone of the new FPC. He is there to make the players happy, and that's what he does. I'm still getting to know the new refs, (Thunderbay refs), but I do know scratch, and he is great too. Fair calls, nice to talk to. All the refs I enjoy talking too, and I know im forgetting names, but all of you are great.
Now for the feilds:
The feild has 4 feilds to play. One x-ball, hyperball, wood, and plastic feild. The X-ball feild is redone, the bunkers are always filled now and not always falling over. There are also more bunkers, so the X-ball feild is really nice now. The hyperball feild is great now, something I always look forward to playing now. The snake is awesome. The bunkers aren't falling over anymore either, and are nicely set up. The wood feild is a fun little one to play. Great for new players because the bunkers are huge! The plastics feild is setup great as well, and very fun to play. It actually is set up to play, not just plastic blocks put in random places anymore.
The feild paint now is pretty good, and for a fair price. I believe a case is 45, and it's not low grade paint! It shoots straight, and I prefer it over some of the stuff I get for practice with my team sometimes. They fill up to 4500 psi now, so no more constant filling up after each game. All day air is $10. The drink/snack food has a bigger selection now, so no more runs across the street to habib store.
All in all I've had some of the most fun in paintball recently here than I've ever had in my "career." Give this place another chance, completely different staff, which will make your day more enjoyable.
THIS IS ERIK BY THE WAY!
