I've played at xtremez, weekend warriors nw, and splat action.
I came here on the 12th of august to compete in the AAXLS and for the most part, It was a good experience.
The team I competed with, including me at points did things we should not have.
The fields seem like they are never tended to. The ground was very hard, and only about half of it was covered in grass. I was ok with that, bucause I figure It has got to be hectic running a buisiness like a paintball field.
The staff was exceptional in everything other than people skills it seemed like. They didn't seem to want to talk to anyone unless it had to do with air, or admission,...you should know what i'm getting at.
I Did NOT like the refs at all. They were setting horrible examples for the younger player and they were making calls they didnt need to, and weren't making calls they needed to. I know it's hard to be a ref, but u dont need to cus at the player out loud so spectators can hear.
The facilities were a little run down looking, but it all worked, thats all that matters.
The barrel condom rule didnt seem like it was enforced very well. Multiple teams were shooting where they shouldnt and people while walking around with their markers, many never used a barrel condom...
Safety for the staff, spectators, and player should be priority #1. It sure didnt seem like it.
I'm going to give them a 6 because I wasn't too happy how they ran the field.
I'll give them a second chance some other time and add more on.
I didn't have the best experience at Action Acres because the weekend I went happened to be the weekend of a big tournament in Hunington beach so all the players were gone. My friend and I waited around for almost three hours before two kids showed up that were apparently on a team called velocity. The people who owned the field were nice and helpful but they were scary in the way that people who live out in the country sometimes are. These people could have been the Texas chainsaw Massacre family. The bunkers were half deflated and the pins wouldn't stick into the ground so we had to make several stand ups into lie downs. I would have had alot more fun if more people were there and the bunkers were better maintained. I give this field a six because of the bunkers and empty field
Portland paintball, Hit N Run, Xtremez, Splat action, + more
I played here for the NWPS its a great field its huge there three fields and its outdoors whick kinda sucked since it rained the hole time. Great place I would go back but its pretty far I Think if you like outdoor playing paintball this is the place for you it is speedball and is VERY fun great place to hang out and have some fun.
This is the the home field for our team from now on. These guys are very very freindly, run a great set of fields (air and a scenario emphasis on air.), have very reasonable prices and do not try to gouge the players. They have a great tournament every other Saturday, starts first game at 10:00am. This is the first torunament our team ever played in and was a great time. The ref's (Nurv) were all great, the staff at the fields actually care about the players and understand things like not marking up paint, having air very close to the field (closer then I have ever seen), providing food and drinks for purchase. I have played all around thearea and this is the best field and tournament there is locally. Do not be worried about bringing your team out, you will have a great time. Air/Entry for regular days is 20 if you bring your own paint, 15 if you buy thier paint, which ranges from like 35-50 a case I think. The tournament is 25 if you bring your own paint and 20 if you buy theirs. I buy theres, it is the same or less then at extremez (local store) Come out have fun, see you there -- Ill Intent
I have found where I plan on playing most of my paintball from now on. The prices are good, although i wish entry was a bit lower, its 20 BYOP/15 Buy from them. The 2 airball fields are well laid out, although I haven't been to "the canyon." The staff are extremely nice, the refs were good, and the players that go there are great too. Every Saturday they have this mini tournament series, bring a 4 man team and come join in, there are people of all experience, they try to split it up into intermediate and open. Bring your team out, its excellent practice, and you would win a few prizes.
I really enjoyed playing here, so I encourage you to come out and play sometime. Action Acres get a 9 out of 10 from me.
Splat Action (Good Field), Warpaint Outdoor(horrid), Paintball Palace(pretty good indoor), and several more in Colorado
This is a relatively new field in the Oregon area. My first time playing there today was definitely enjoyable. I've been playing for about 9 years now and I can honestly tell you that these guys have their stuff together.
First of all, you can buy practice paint there for only $35 a case! Which is good though teh paint's not that great. They also have rampage and premium for $45 and $50 respectively.
Second of all, two great airball fields. These were really fun to play on. They also have a canyon with tons of crates and tubing set up, making ti pretty sweet to play on, though games take longer usually since people can move up like crazy due to the massive amounts of cover.
Thirdly, the people are really nice, they make great lunch, and overall they are competent and try to make your stay there comfortable. Refs are also pretty good and aware.
Fourthly, if you rent gear, they have nice rentals, Tippman 98 customs and spyder's, both extremely reliable guns. Any problems with your gun and they'll fix it for you. One of teh ref's even gave his hopper to a participant who's hopper broke.
All in all, this place is good, it's cheap, it's well built and teh people are nice and competent. I'd say, go here and have fun!
This field is awesome, good layouts, great players, good attitudes. The ladies who where filling the tanks where a little trigger happy, and broke 3 burst disks, but its okay
The bunkers wernt very full for long, and there was 5 tipped over by the end of the night, but the more rollys the better :-P. Prices are awesome 25 entry and air on weekends field paint only 45$ or 35$ if you go to team practtice and get a coupon, and team practice is awesome because they are cheap, 15 bucks entry and air, BYOP or 35 a case.
Good field layouts
Great people and attitudes
Amazing prices on wednesdays
A real good time always
Food if enough people want it
Fill tanks a little to much (800 psi is filled to 600 psi)
bunkers arent very well set and arent always full
Field is really dry but i think they watered it alot
If you are a noob, you will get rolled here on wednesdays
because your playing Rooks novs ams and great Young guns teams
I went to this field for the first time last night. I have to say it was by far one of the best places that i have ever played. One thing that makes this field so nice is they way it is ran. It is very organized and the people that run it are very cool. The best thing about this field is the prices. On wednesday night its $35 for a case of Core(isnt bad paint, shoots like PMI premium) and $15 for entry and all day air. The field was in good shape with a nice set up. Im going to play here from now on!
AA is a good field and all, it just needs like 2 more fields and they need to maintain their bunkers as well get people who know how to fix and fill guns and tanks. no refs were there when i was playing (8/10/05). they have good rates, at least for our team practice.

Action Acres is a great field and is a wonderful place to go. they have awesome fields set up that are nice the ground is completely flat and the grass is nice perfect for playing. they have an airball field and a hyper-ball type field now but there are more fields to come. Since it is right outside of Canby it stops you from having to drive for and hour to ger to a nice field. The food is great and the staff is as friendly as can be and will help you with anything you need. stop by and say Hi to Superman for me!
