This place is amazing! there prices are alot cheaper than APC and there fields are alot cooler.also you can choose from a bigger variety of markers. such as ion, timmy, shocker, and a couple more.
staff- when i went there only the owner was there. but he was really cool.
and all in general the best paintball field i have gone to.
(makes APC look puny)
Wow this place was extravagant. There was extremely friendly people that worked there... Even when my mom got stuck in the mud, 2 employees came out to help push her out. also my buddy for got his shoes and had flip flops on and the owner let him borrow a pair of cleats.
But they have 3 fields, concrete, hyperball, and speed... i think all these fields were superb because if some one did not like speed or hyperball they could just go on to the concrete. or vise versa, but i extremely like the speedball field because they had a setup i have never seen before.
They also have grate pricing... If I was lucky I would be able to go 2 times a month. But now since its cheep enough i can go every sunday or Saturday. but for field paint (45$), entry (15$), bring your own paint with entry (18$)... But it is pretty standard for all day hp air. (4$)...
So overall this was a grate experience for me... I will never go to any othe field again.

Ive just been to Blitz once and it was amazing. They are 10000 times better than APC (which ive been goin to most of the time.) First of all Isiac is really nice and helpful. He taught us strategies for certain cenario games and just regular hyperball. Second of all the prices woooooohooooooooooooo were they allot cheaper than APC. I went to Blitz with 9 people and played for 5 hours and it only cost us around 450$ compared to APC we went with four people and 2 hours and it cost us 550$. Well i highly suggest goin here its just all around great.
none (Went there and never needed to go anywhere else.)

Good Field. I have gone to Blitz For almost a year now and i love it. The prices are great! The first time i went was my B-day and that came to about $160 but that was because we were paying for 6 people. (plus paint) The normal cost for one person (if you bring your own paint) is about $25. The staff is great! The owner is really nice and will help you with whatever you ask (if its paintball related that is... :P) and the REFs are also great. Some of them are part of the Home team so they dont allow cheating of anykind. Even when its team mates they are REFing they make good calls. I had a hit on my hopper and i didnt notice but he did, he also noticed my friend but it was a splatter not a hit. The 2nd time i went they didnt have a Air Smith there so when i asked about my gun they couldnt help me. But all the times after that they had a airsmith who was very smart and very helpful. (Took my friends ION and took it apart piece by piece to figure out what was wronge. Then gave him a price and a place to buy the replacement parts!) Overall, this field is filled with friendly people that want you to have a good time, and you do. :D
P.S. if you go, there is parts where ther is no grass so if its windy bring something to cover your stuff because there is alot of sand flying around.
American Paintball Coliseum (Sucked)
The Rocky Mountains (The Best Place to go Paintballing)
Directions to the Field:
* Take I25 to HWY 52 (just north of the Metro Area)
* Hwy 52 East to the Frontage Rd
* Frontage Rd South to CR 12 about 1 1/4 mile(You will see a big Auto salvage yard)
* CR 12 East 3/4 mile to THE BLITZ!!!
* The road is a random dirt road that doesn't really look like it goes anywhere.
Remember to roll up your windows unless you like cleaning paint out of the interior
of your car.
This field is the best to play at if you live around Denver. Now when I'm not playing out in the mountains I go here. They have 4 fields. A Speedball, Hyperball, Woods, and Concrete field.
The Speedball field is about 225' long X 113' wide! The Hyperball field is the size of a Football Field! It's the largest Hyperball Field in the region! It's made of black Plastic Culvert, with a wickedly fun format and incredible bunker's like the Scorpion, The Dark Tower, and the Arrow!! The Woods field is over a full Acre of piled Wood and Concrete Formed in different patterns. And who can forget the massive wood fort! They also have a school bus in the middle of the field which is perfect to snipe and to play full Scenario paintball. The concrete field is a massive stacked labyrinth of concrete with shooting slots in between walls. Perfect for a fire fight!
The prices are great! It's $12 to get in, $18 if you bring your own paint. $15 for 500 rounds of paint or $27 dollars for 1000 rounds. Which is the cheapest in probably all of Colorado. If you need to rent a paintball gun it's 10 dollars for the standard semi-automatic and they take really good care of them. They have other guns to rent to but the most expensive gun to rent is $20 dollars. The rental comes with a mask, free tank refill, pods and belt, and of course a hopper.
The Blitz was a blast! As a single mom looking for a "bonding " experience with my two teen age kids, I highly recommend The Blitz field! I've never played paintball, so I was concerned about the safety and the prices (ok, yea...the pain, too.) The staff was great and they required a full safety orientation before we started. The rules are posted and the staff reminded us about goggles and barrel bags.
As far as pricing, I called around and Blitz had the BEST prices in the whole area. What we paid was really reasonable for a full day of shooting at each other! (I mean, bonding with each other.)
There were plenty of other players and we joined them several times. My daughter and I even had a one-on-one game...which was great.
This is just a great place. I like it mainly because of the people who make it what it is. Izaac is a good field owner mainly because he wants people to have a good time playing paintball. I have almost no money so it is hard for me to afford to play, but the Blitz makes it possible for me to practice with my team (Colorado Upset).
The price for playing there easily beats all the other paintball places, and the field is good enough for my team to get in a lot of quality trigger time. As the captain of a Blitz sponsored team I give it a 10!
Paintball Adventures - Much more expensive, but they run a really tight ship. Lots of refs keeping everything safe, people to set up teams and games, lots of nets to keep fields separate, people checking your gun to make sure you chrono, parking lot is well away from the fields. Expensive, but it's a high-quality field. Lots of different gametypes, from airball to hyperball to some cool scenario-type fields with trees and structures. I don't play here much because of the price, but if I played at a field again it would be this one.
Directions to the Field:
Okay, it seems like I'm the only person who really didn't enjoy playing on this field. First off, I'm a woodsballer. I don't like speedball and i probably never will, so I didn't expect all that much from this field. I just wanted somewhere to go where I could play against other people and have a good time. Secondly, I'm big on safety. When people come out and play with us in the woods, I'm the guy who checks and makes sure everyone has plugs in and goggles on all the time. It sounds like I'm annoying (and i probably am) but when you've got kids running around out there, someone has to stay on them to make sure everyone is safe. When I'm out in the woods, that's my job. When I'm on a field, it's the field's job.
This is the biggest issue I had with Blitz. The safety here is atrocious. My car got hit 6-7 times in the parking lot with stray paintballs that flew over the netting around the hyperball field. I don't care that my car got hit, but i was standing there with my mask off at the time. Everyone in the parking lot was wandering around without goggles (like you should be able to do) and paintballs were flying over and hitting cars pretty regularly. I mentioned it to the staff and they said "yeah, that'll happen occasionally." That's a completely irresponsible view of safety, to my mind. All it takes is one stray ball to tag some kid in the eye and that's the end of Blitz paintball. The parking lot was way too close to the field and the nets weren't nearly high enough. Also, there were no nets between the fields and the road you drive up on. There were no nets around the back of the place and there was a young girl (no mask, of course) riding a four-wheeler less than 20 yards from the edge of the field. There are no nets between fields, either, so you can get hit by someone playing on a completely different field. It also sucks when you're playing because you can't tell whether someone's sneaking up the edge of their field or yours. And when the kids who are playing get hit, they just wander off between fields shooting at random sticks or rocks or whatever and you can't tell if they're playing or not. There's just no control whatsoever on the field.
There are also no refs. none. There are three guys sitting at the table out front cleaning guns and that's it. They don't have anyone making sure you chrono or that your gun is within safe limits. I personally had to tell at least 2 people to put their masks on while they were sitting next to the field. When I'm at a field, I shouldn't have to be mother hen. I paid someone else to worry about it for me. And the worst part is that my friend got absolutely reamed by one of the guys sitting at the table when he popped his mask off in the chrono area. Yeah, it was stupid of him, but the guy ran out onto the field without wearing a mask himself to yell at my friend. He was absolutely screaming, too. I can understand yelling at someone to put the mask on, but even after my friend had put it on and apologized, the guy just kept yelling. If he was really that concerned about safety, he should probably have a few refs on the field and put up some more netting. it just seemed really hypocritical to me.
When you're at Blitz, you set up your own games. You wander around finding people who want to play, you make your own teams and you pick your field. This is cool because it gives you a lot of flexibility, but it really makes me wonder why I bothered coming here and paying a field fee if I'm going to get absolutely no service at all from the guys. At the other field I've played on (paintball adventures) you spend quite a bit of time waiting for games to start, but there's someone setting up games and teams, making sure they're more or less even and telling everyone the rules of the particular gametype. It's sort of a pain because you're waiting so much, but it's nice because you feel like there's at least someone out there with some clue of what's going on.
One of my friends talked to the owner and the guy said they were still working on a lot of things and thatthey'd be getting more nets up and everything, but I don't think they should've opened if they weren't ready to provide a safe environment for the players. I might go back next year and see if they've made any significant changes, but I'd just as soon not play there again.
