Other Fields
in the Area:
TRP- Not even close to as good as PBWorld
Urban Assault- Probably one of the worst fields in the area
AAPP- Both this and PBWorld are amazing
Review: Safety- One of the safest fields i have been to yet, clearly marked signs, good netting and lots of it.

Fields- As of right now there are 2 fields, an X-Ball field and a 3man hyperball/hybrid field, games are constantly moving, also if two teams are practicing on the X-Ball field youc an go on and play 1v1, 2v2, or even 3v3's while they are palyign on the smaller field even if you just want t run a few drills really fast

Prices- Amazing prices on entry, paint, and drinks
sat- 15 ADA FPO
sun- 20 ADA BYOP or FP

Refs- Very helpful refs they help out when ever they can from helping with guns to giving tips to players. Plus they actually get involved instead of calling the game and standing there

Players- There were a lot of people here when i went from people that had never played from players from W.A.R. and NK. Very good competition.

Review: i'll just go down the list:

Safety:
The Staff there makes sure everyone follows the saftey rules. They are very stict on them, which is a good thing! There are signs everywhere indicating barrel blugs, chronographs, and masks on.

Fields:
There are currently two fields at PBWorld. They are both AIRBALL. One is a fully REGULATION 2006 xball field. This field is generally setup with the nearest PSP setup. Sometimes it has one the refs made up.

Field #2 is a very small, 3man arena ball field. This field is GREAT for those WGN style matches....sometimes you can see some very intense...very fast play on it!

Hours:
It opens at 10 AM Fri-Sun. Closes at 5 everyday for the most part. It really matters what the turnout is like. But it'll always close a 5 at the latest. This is because of the neighbors...they dont like paintball.

Prices:
It's affordable.

rentals w/ entry is 30 bucks.

friday - $15 entry and field paint
saterday - $20 entry and field paint
Sunday - $20 and BYOP

Paint varies in brands but is ALWAYS the same price. They recently got a shipment of procaps white box. Thats $45 a case.

Rules:
Basic paintball rules, nothing special. You need to chrono your marker at 280fps or less. They dont always stop it, but they frown upon ramping....alot

Reffing,staff:
The reffing staff is nice and they do their job well. They are always willing to help, give advice, and work on broken equitment.

Proshop:
they sell little things, not much, but stuff you need like replacement parts, cheap markers, masks, and other random things.

Facilities:
Decent...there is a trailer that you pay in and get your paint from, it looks nice and profesional in there even though it;s small. They sell pop, gatorade, monster, and water there. There is also a TV that is usually plaing paintball DVDs.

They have a very nice airfill shed with nice push button airfills for both 3000psi and 4500psi tanks. N00bs tend to blow the air fittings cause they dont know how to put them on right (even after being told by the staff numerious times) but they are replaced quickly. There are also CO2 fills. They arnt used very often, and only trained people can do it for you, and sometimes they are busy with other things ( a little understaffed) but HPA is better anyway and the field lets you borrow their HPA tanks.

Players:
a serious wide range here...you can find players from all walks of life...n00bs and near-pros. There is usually a great turnout on sundays....saterdays and fridays falter usually. Play is fun. There are always a hot head or two...but you'll get that. Overall, it's a good atmosphere.

Food:
Being attached to Icecream world, Golf World, FOOD World, Arcade world, and ofcorse CABOOSE world....there is alot to do and alot of GREAT food!

This is a great field in a well populated, easy to find area. Prices are good, and so is the food and people. You SHOULD play here!

Only large downfall is that it must close in the winter because it is outdoor only and the neighbors complain too much. This year's last day of play is September 30th...It re-opens in the early spring!

Review: First off, let me say Pb-world is a great field, they have great personal staff members, and awsome fields. This is the place to have a great day of paintball for low cost. The field DOES have refs unlike a few other fields i have been to. These refs keep the games far and moving along consistently. They have 2 fields; 2006 Xball field and a 3 man field. When I went i had a great time, and i dought anyone will leave NOT feeling that. Over all one of the best fields ive ever played at. The field is fairly new, and they have great plans that are being put into effect as i type this. If you go here you wont regret it.

Prices - Sundays are BYOP $20
Sat. and Fri. are FPO $15 (Fri) $20 (Sun)
Paint is 45 a case
and Rentals are $30 with FREE ADMISSION

Also PB-World is right next to the ICE CREAM WORLD, this ice cream is GOOD (i had some) they also have a small arcade, mini golf and other food.

Review: This is a good place to go if u live in pittsburgh area, only two airball feilds but they are nice they have a bad feild but they say they are getting turf. If u go on sundays its 20 bucks to play and bring your own paint and free air. The refs are good and fun and will help u out. Only 45 bucks for a case of paint everywhere else its like 80. They have paintball classes every wensdays free entry but buy there paint. I will hopefully going every sunday for practice so should u.
