From San Diego, take freeway 15 and head north. Exit on Lake st (on Lake Elsinore) and make a right on Temescal Cyn rd. Jungle Island will be on your left hand side after approx. 1/2 mile. Distance from San DIego is about 85 miles (north).
Review: I've only played twice on this field. Fields, Jungle Island has several good fields. The only problem is that the fields are really small and if you want to play on the air ball fields you have to pay extra. The fields are so small that if you don't pay extra attention to the boundaries of the field you're playing on you will be on a different field playing with a different group without even knowing it. I heard that once in a while they have scenario and night games, I think this field would be perfect for this type of games only (when they make the entire field just one big field). Safety, I don't think they have enough referees on this field. The first time I played was on a private group. I can not believe that we only had one referee. The second time I played was walk ons. There were 3 referees but there's only 1 walk on group with about 40 people each team and it was chaotic since the fields are small. My friends and I thought that if they had more referees maybe there would have been at least 2 walk on groups? Prices, fee for walk ons is $20.00 (which is average), I just don't know why you have to pay extra to play on the air ball fields. On most paintball parks $20.00 includes all the fields on that park. Air prices are a little higher than most fields I played on. The staff are courteous and knowledgeable. Over all, I will give this field a 5 and I also recommend other players to check this field out (to find out for there selves).

Review: The day i went was extremely hot, maybe in the 100s. This might explain the lack of people at the field. There was maybe around 100 people at the park on the Saturday that i went.

First off the management and professionalism of the Field is a major problem. The 3 refs that were at the City field were disorganized and it seemed like they didnt know what was going on. These 3 refs were kind of young, maybe around 18-20 years old and it showed when they would argue with each other for about 10 minutes. There was definately a power struggle as they tried to split the teams and explain the rules. Impatience and frustration could be seen amongst the players as we waited for these guys to stop bickering. Eventually some experienced players just took charge and led our team to the other side of the field, while the refs were still arguing. In the end, the refs did not sufficiently explain the rules and safety.

There was also alot of confusion when it came to finding a game. For first timers to the park, like myself, it was difficult to know when and where the next walk-on games were. There are no signs and the only announcement made is on a bull horn by a guy walking around. The people at the front office had no clue when the games were and where. Im not sure about other days, but it seemed like the park was run by high school kids that day.

On the upside, the employees there were very friendly and helpful (despite their lack of professionalism). The guys in the repair shop were very helpful when my gun broke down. They did EVERYTHING they could to make it function correctly, without hesitation nor attitude. They didnt even charge me for the repair and they also filled my tank for free. Oh and another thing, be sure to stop by the snack shop a few times. The girl that runs it was pretty much the highlight of the day for my friends and I. Great eye candy, especially in the hot weather =)

In conclusion, stick to SC Village. Its about 10 miles closer for people north of the 91. SC is way more professional and organized. Even though Jungle Island is about $5 cheaper than SC, i think you will have more fun at SC.

Review: I loved paintballing at this field because of the many different variety of courses such as castle, outback, and city. They have four speedball courses(I myself am a rec ball) but i still loved the speedball courses they have set up for you, especially the one with the monster truck tires. Overall, what stood out the most was the awesome jobs the refs did enforcing the rule they were awesome. Two big thumbs up to Jungle Island.

SC Village-huge, lotsa fields, lotsa attitudes.
Splat Factory- Indoor but cool
Hollywood Sports- Not close by, SC sister field, could be great, poor management.

Review: Jungle Island Paintball Park. Entry 20 bucks for senario another 10 for airball
Sat-Sun 7:30-4:00 10 bucks all day air compressed.
Fri- Sat 6-11 nite games.

I like this field alot, although it has the same problems many other parks have.
Porta potties, no pro shop, one long line for registration, out in the middle of nowhere( for me anyway) Im 70 miles away.

This field is BYOP, very cool.
12 fields, some with real aircraft, cars, tanks etc, some very simple wood bunkers.
Some are flat, others have very steep inclines, something for everyone.
Parking is close to the fields, unlike SC village.
Pizza /cold drinks availible if you order in the AM, but bring a cooler.
FIelds are close together, easy to get shot from another field while waiting for your game to start.

Saftey, everyone I saw had to chrono, if someone lifted a mask they where immediately reminded to pull it down.
Walk-on group was enormous 45 on 45 whew! way too many people.
Get a private group to go if you can( we where asked to join a private group and did so even before seeing the huge number of people there, but that is rare, joining a private group already assembled.

Decent place for beginners as well as advanced players.
4 airball fields, somewhat maintained, lol/
Overall a good place to play.

Review: Safety: Everything was outlined to the players beforehand by the responsible(except for one) refs. It was made totally clear that safety was the highest prority, and the refs showed that throughout the day. The one exception was about six players on an empty field, all with their masks off. The ref was nowhere to be found. Soon thereafter, I witnessed the manager,(Matt, I believe his name was) reprimanding the rogue ref. Quite loudly. I was impressed.

The fields were varied in design, theme, and placement of obstacles. Thumbs up for that.

Prices were reasonable for rentals and paint, although I wished they had some higher grade paint. Oh well, what can you do?

The rules were reasonable and not hard to follow. Anyone that didn't, was immediately called out on it, and I feel this was also reasonable.

Everything was generally covered, except for a proshop. Too bad, but I was renting so it wasn't a problem. But, yeah, points deducted.

The staff was curteous and non-abrasive. You could tell they were there for love of the game, and they were very helpful. Except maybe for the snack bar staff, they were talking to each other and ignoring customers when there wasn't a rush.

The people I played with today were all pretty fair, but I can't rate a field on it's clientelle, so I won't.

One thing I feel I need to emphasize is the quality of the refs. They were constantly enforcing all the rules to the best of their abilities. I found them to be reasonable and they looked out for the enjoyment and safety of all players. I hear people badmouthing them a lot, but not once did they do anything that could be construed as negative. Even when players were on the field area, if they were not playing, they were told to put their plugs in. When I tried to tip the manager(Matt), he refused. I truly believe that his first priority was for the player, and I think he is the model that all refs should follow. A little overboard, perhaps, but I'm trying to denote how impressed I was with the service.

Review: I went to Jungle Island for their big game and it was great =D

Chrono tags were being used (normally its the honor system) and the refs did random chrono checks while we were on field. +++

As far as I could tell, the refs were doing a good job +++

I never use the restroom at any pb field if I can help it ???

I think the way the field was divided should be different every time we play a big game. It would be cool if we could incorporate whats left of amazon and castle and tires into the big game field.

I don't know what the big game schedule is, but every other month sounds like a great idea to me.

Perhaps if you could assign a ref to do "early chrono" for the guys who get there early/on time. I got there really late, and still had to wait in line =\

Im looking forward to the next one.

Review: This park was a joke, first the registration is one window, snack bar is also one window, no paint ball store in case you have to buy extra parts. The hole registration area way to small for the amount of people that went on that day. All the fields are too close together, so you have to watch out not only for the players in front of you but also the ones in back. The ref sucked, we would have done better if every one called there own game, the kid that refed the game was playing favorits with some of his friends that came to play, they ran hot, i shot one guy like 5 times and he still didn't get called out. i got shot from a player from a different course and i got called out. They about murdered an 11 yr old kid, i think he got shot like 10 times. There are only a few good courses. I'm sorry but this park needs some control more refs that don't play favorits and enforce the rules that they them selves. Most people want to play a friendly game by the end of the day i wanted to shoot the ref and that bold guy. i wont play there till they get there act together. SC village is way over crowed and they still have control over there hole park.

All I know is to take the 15 Freeway to Lake Street exit. Go west under freeway to your first right....down a half a mile and its on your left....
Review: This was my first ever paintball experience and what a way to start out!! If this is the way refs are then great because they were awsome...even the bald guy who sounded like my old Recruit Division Commander! There were a couple of people who were shooting hot...320 FPS to be exact....my arm can prove it....The refs were on top of it....chronoing those in the field....even I got chronoed twice out in the field! I would have to say the snack bar could use some work....having to pay for drinks and stuff at one register and getting tickets can get old. I can not wait to get back out there and try it again!

Review: they had a HUUUUUUUUGE scenario game at least 1000 players with all the fields open at the same time and awsome refs, prizes, and of couse service,so if your looking to have a wonderful time playing great super fields, play at jungle. id also like to ponint out that there snack bar is well stocked, and they serve foods such as pizza at well priced prices so believe me the fields that were open at the time were very big, and evenly placed so teamwork a must, and also, it was all about the kidz wich i liked like some prizez if the raffle ticket had no claim after ten calls, then the youngest kid with the marker that the prize goes to or some thing one, and the staff is very respectful and helpful, so a definatly vist or spot this is my field
