Review: This park was my first. Since then, I have played at Tombstone. Looking back, Jungle Island is just o.k. It was hotter than a popcorn fart. The ref's were just there for looks. The porta-potties were cleaner than the bathrooms. I will try this place one more time now that I have better gear and know more people who play.

Review: Jungle Island is a jungle. Congo are stacked tires that whan you make contact with it you get your unique tire camouflage.
Chrono area is "try and hit it with ur marker doing 350 fps, you'll never get your paint there".
Trenches is "get yourself bleached in the sun while u figure out ur your tactics".
That gutted bus is pretty impressive, thats why i never played dat field.
Renting is getting urself there early before they wont run out of rentals.
Get yourself a center bench and don't worry about the sun moving.
Fields are " should have listened to my drill sergeant, i wouldn't have been panting"
Get youself a barrel plug, they don't take barrel socks.
Nice restrooms though, with shower rooms and such. But they're still portable.

And just got there once!!! You get the point!

Review: I did not like jungle island that much there fields where muddy bad layout except a couple of courses and there toilets stink like crazy. I would only recommend going there if its a sunny day and hasn't rained for a while. Maybe ill try it again some time but only if like camp pendleton is closed or something happens and i have to go there.

Review: I went to jungle a couple weeks ago with my friend i had a great time. at first my gun was screwing up so i had to adjust a couple things with it. the people who fixed it were very helpful and nice but it cost me 5 bucks to oil my striker and get new o-rings so that might have been a little overpriced. but other than that the fields were great and the refs were good. but one bad thing was i was adjusting my velocity and the allen wrench at the stand wouldn't fit my gun so i recommend bringing your own wrench onto the field with you because it might not fit and you have to walk all the way back and do it yourself then walk back again. other than that it was great and i look forward to going there again.

*Update*
Gone to Jungle plenty of times since first writing this review, and it is still great. I recently went there and played Big Game Day, and it was a blast. The refs were in control of the game and made sure everything was right where it was supposed to be. I can't wait until the next Big Game Day/ Scenario Game comes.

Review: Hey first of i'd like people to ADD comments on what their favorite fields are and what their least favorite fields are because it seems to me the only two good field are Hyperball and the speedball course which no one allowed to use unless your a tteam having a practice which it seems there are never.

Review: I went here after i bought my first gun, and i had gone paintballin 2 or 3 times with my friend at sc village, at the time i really didnt like this field, the refs didnt care about what you wanted to do, like my friends and i are used to being able to play on speedball fields without a ref. at jungle island, they said we couldnt play unless we had one of the fields refs supervising us, so we spent half the day trying to get a ref to come out and supervise us, we spent 3 hours trying this, and they didnt even come, it wasn until the last 15 minutes before we were going to pack up when we started yelling at 3 refs letting a group of people play supervised while we were sitting there for hours waiting while we could have bean playing a scenario game (wich i really dont care for) after arguing why he should ref us we got him to ref one ten second game were my friend and i lit the heck out of my other friends (i should have lit up the ref while i was there since i was already leaving), but with this experience under my belt, i dont think i will go back for a while, or at least till they get better refs.

SC Village - BIG facility w/ ALOT of fields & ALOT of players! Fun & very competitive!
Tombstone - not so big, but still fun. They really stress the fun of paintballing.
Review: Jungle Island was a bit of a disappointment. First, they have a faded sign on a gate that when the gate is open, the sign is tough to see and there is very limited parking. As far as the fields are concerned...long walks to basicly a giant dirt lot where the fields are just roped off. I got hit quite often just walking between the fields between games....not a fun experience

Review: I just got back from Jungle Island (July 30th 2005) and I have to say I would give it a 4 out of 10. Here is a break down.

The Bad:

No shop to help fix your gun or buy parts (so if something breaks, you might have to go home.

Fields are few and couple are not in use.

This place makes Tomstone look huge in comparison. This place is kinda dinky. So don't get you expectations up by the old pictures on their website.

We had to buy a ticked for everything including, Food, drinks, CO2, etc. So if you like standing in one line to exchange money for a ticket and then going to another line for the thing you purchased, then this is right up you alley

Intercom system is not loud and sounds blown out. You might say big deal, but when you are in the bench area right in front of the PA system, you are like "what did they say? ....is it time to go?"

The Good:
The employees seemed to have ok attitudes. They where ok. So they got this point over SC Village</ul>
Price aint bad, $20 entry and $5 all day air.
They actually got a lot of picknick benches and it is shaded. That is so nice when you are dieing of heat exaustion. Still keep in mind the drinks and food is very limited.

That is about it. I took 2 other people. This was our first time there. We basically all said "Next time lets just stick to Tombstone".

Review: This Feild is good except for the lazy refs. I went one time and just cause it was hot the refs mad us play in the jungle part most of the day. We played this one course "CONGO" like 3 times and after a while it got boring and we all knew the other feilds were out there. Another thing is the groups the refs seperate the teams into. When i went one of the refs knew a couple people and he put them all on one team, they played in competitions such as speedball, the other team consisted of newbies and rentals. The teams were not evenly matched and i think thats wrong. Its supposed to be a rec feild where families come to play. We're supposed to have fun not get murdered by a speedball team.
The feilds are good but the refs suck.
All day air is good
Lunch is good lol pizza $10

Review: I like this field, its a change in scenery for me but not as much competition for me as much as Camp Pendleton.
The few times I have gone there we didn't get to play ALL the fields, we played the same fields as my last visit!
I like the all day comp-air fill station.

Overall I give it an 8/10
