Cousins Paintball of Coram Long Island Paintball Field
well it was bad for me but good for others...my a5 broke they can;t fix it cause its a internal problem, the staff there are very good, i think i just came at a bad day, the cost of paint is over priced, same price as skimish but u have to pay for refills also. i got a rental after my a5 broke and taht broke cause the valve broke....
i wasn;t playing half the time due to gun problems but tahts not their fault...
it was snowing and rental chopped balls like nothing...
its a great place if u have the money for the paint
refs. are great.
fields are pretty good
no food, besides a pickup truck with food.
prices of paint $100
This really is a good field, but the prices are a killer. If you can order a case of the field paint off the internet for $50, you should have no problem. Otherwise, for the fields you play on... It is worth the time and money. I have never incountered any of the issues many complain about, such as the staff underfilling tanks. This is the ultimate rec ball field for LI if you can afford it.
Everything about this outdoor place is incredible except the pricing....Draxxus Blaze is NOT worth 100 dollars a case. The smart thing to do would be to buy the Draxxus paintballs somewhere else and bring them in. It's still the same field paint right?
Anyway the ref's are great, I asked to play a 1 on 1 with my cousin on the speedball field and the ref agreed; they're all pretty good. It took a while to get the games going in the beginning of the day, but it picked up.
They underfill CO2 my 20oz was filled at the beginning of the day and by the end I needed a refill. Otherwise, it's still great quality for the price. The people are great and the fields are awesome.
Cousins Paintball of Newburg/Formerly Survival New York, Cousins Indoor Paintball, Liberty Paintball, Skirmish USA, Paintball Adventures, Top Gun,
GOOD: The fields are cool. Mostly all wood fields, fort type, couple of speed ball field, fields are centrally located around the parking lot which is cool for ammo reloads and other things. workers are helpful.
BAD: The most costly field i ever been on. $100 a case w/ no discount with a large group!!! CO2 is costly per a fill.
If the prices are a little more competitive, people would come back more often.
Top Gun(great ref, decent price), Skirmish( Organizer got cool rewards, deep discounts for huge groups, but always crowded ), EMR( best fields but too far from NYC ), Rush (BYOP!, cheap field paints but small)
We had a private group of about 40 people went there last Sat., It was heavy raining all day, with the foggy rentals on, I coundn't see sh**. Yet they refuse to issue rain checks, had a couple no-show guys and they also refuse to refund the $30 prepaid fee.
Price is outrages, I found cousins as the most expensive paintball fields around. A rec ball player like myself shooting 800 ball can easily spent close to $100 with refills(My tank leaked and I have to paid the refill it twice)+jumpsuit+harness+lunch. Which is at least 20% more than other places Iíve been to.
The ref are just ok, seems to dodge paints pretty well. I found 3 refs for a huge woodsball of 40 people is quite inadequate.
At the end of the day we all agree never to go there again.

Played all over the tri-state and North Eastern part of US
Cousins Paintball of Corum is just ok.
Worst thing about this field is the pricing. They charge $100 for 2000 balls and you have to use the field paint. Also, they underfill the tanks to get more repeat business.
The fields are decent and so are the ref's. A lot of the time the ref's are unorganized and required to return the field house to sign up for new fields or speedball. It is has improved in the last few years but they do little to inspire repeat business because they pretty much have a lock on the out door fields in this area.
The facilites are run down and make sure to purge before you get to the field. You will not enjoy the bathrooms. Lunch is a roach coach that charges a premium.
Money is not an issue. However, when you pay for more than what you get...you are dissapointed. This field has a lot of potential if they could pump some money into the place.
well, since i've not had much other play time on other fields, i can say this one definitely has some very good fields. My group went last saturday and had a blast. Maps we played: Dodge City, Center Flag, Tower, and others. the fields are nicely varied in size and are definitely worth checking out, especially Tower, a map for attack and defend.
Fields. I would rate it a good 8 or 9.
gun work. they were pretty helpful with fixing up my gun. i had a velocity problem and they fixed it right away. wasn't top notch work, but they helped me out. also cleaned my goggles on the spot. also gave me some zip-ties when a screw fell outa my spyder. about an 8 i'd say.
the prices of paintballs are steep, 100 bucks for a case of 2000. A group of us each paided at least over 100, not including field usage, 40 for walk-on rentals, 30 for prepaid rentals, and 20 for own gear. also, when my friend went to fill up his CO2 tank, they filled it to a measily 500 psi. He brought it up to them and asked them why they filled it only to 500 psi and they didn't give him a reason. bad bad fills. luckily i went to island paintball supplies beforehand to fill my 20oz.
overall, i'd say an 7. most other places around the city also charge 100 bucks per 2000 balls anyway. would have given it a 8, but they gyped my friend.
-great reffing staff
-wide range of fields to play on
-refs keep the games moving for the most part
-many gome formats including center hang, 2 flags, total team elimination, and attack and defend
-their big game every year is awesome
-at 100 for a case of diable blaze is a bit steep for a student working part time
High Velocity paintball, Paintball arena, Cusin's indoor field
I've played there for awhile now, and I can't think of any real reason not to go there. It's open every weekend, they have days where they give out free passes, and the refs know what they're talking about. That and the fact that all the fields are really cool. The best being canyon, a base ontop of a hill which you have to storm. If you have the time and are in the area, go to the place!
