Me and the rest of Fire-4-Effect had a great day here. They have a good playing ground with a lot of elevation changes that separate the men from the boys. There reffing was spot on. This is a good field for all level of players. They are extremely friendly and there prices are fair.
Oxford Paintball club, stratergy plus,Hogan's Alley,Splatter Zone.. NOw for comparing with these other fields I will say this much It like more family friendly. More like a training camp for beginners.

The ups About it. Good place for first timers, nice woods field best one so far in ct area I think.
Their refs very friendly and helpful.only field I seen yet where the refs caters to the players. Also I notice that they maintane a clean fields and stage areas as well as safety areas.strongly enforce safety rules (big time Plus) I think !They're the only field I know that allows the customers to chose the type of game they would like to play.I would like to add that their ref will teach and help you become a better player in both wood or tourney ball.
Now their down: only one porter pottei, wood fields are big & some are up hills to get to.
You must be fit to play there cause a workout you will get before your day is done.
their air field well if you don't mined wal-mart bunkers then maybe you can find some fun in it.
they have a hay field but mother nature always seem to have say on it apperance.
Which in small saying it's fun when it's fresh hay.No fun when the bunker you are at was to protect you just collaspe in front of you.
Closing:overall, for serious woodballering yankee's at the top of the list for me,but if you want to play some tourney (speedball) I must say look else where maybe in the further but as for now sorry beside they won't let you play real speedball anyway. remember strongly enforce safety rules no wrap arounds or bunkering and speedballer know that part of the game.

This was my first time playing at this location, I went as part of a group of 13 and the cost for each person was $70 this gave us 7500 paintballs plus 1000 more for the organizer rental equipment marker, all day air, mask, and Pod Pack with 3 Pods, 5 Lg pizzas and a soda per person. For those that had our own equipment got an additional 500 rounds. This was a great value compare to other places I have played.
There is no food available at the field unless you are part of a private party.
Did not see a pro shop but they did have some items for sale.
Their staff was very friendly and helpful one of our guys had a problem with his marker and one of the refs help him take his gun apart and fixed it after the game, when I had a problem with mine I was offered one of their own markers so I could continue playing. Since some of the fields our out of the way and up some steep hills the staff brought with them extra air so we could continue playing with out having to go down all the way down to the staging area.
My only complain about this field is that some of their guys that are on their team decided to play with us, we told them it was ok for a few rounds of speed ball but then we ask them that we did not want them to be part of our private group when we went up to the woods field one of them decided to joint our group with out us wanting him there and got mad when told that he was not wanted.
Overall I was pleased with my experienced and look forward to playing again at this location since their planning to expand the fields this winter
