We have played at most of the ones locally-The Meadow, NC Tactical, PB Central and Wolf Creek.
Directions to the Field:
It's on their website--but I just used mapquest. The field is about 15 minutes outside of Winston-Salem.
Review:
We were looking for a new place to play-something different and found them under NC paintball fields. The field was easy to find and close to food joints.
They are an event only field, which is why we got together with other friends who enjoy playing and reserved the field on a Saturday. At first, I wasn't sure that I would like this arrangement--but was quickly surprise how amazing the staff was at making sure everyone had a great time.
They worked with our time frame and the prices are based on the number of players. They are efficient at getting everyone equiped and going over safe rules and field rules. The refs are very fair--and don't birddog like some do.
Everyone enjoyed the field--Vitalpaintball has several different games ( "Pony City" was amasing).
They do not have food but we did bring drinks and a grill for our lunch break.
One more thing . . . they prayed at the beginning before we hit the field--which was different, but at lunch I was talking with the owner and was told that Vital started out as a youth outreach for their teens at church. Hey- I don't know about you but I need all the prayers anyone wants to throw out there for me.
Played Operation Distant Thunder and the last game was Operation Static Line. Had a blast. Safety was an issue at the first game but the staff there did a great job of listening to the players from the first game and I didnt see any safety issues with the last game. Field has great woods, large hardwoods and the Fort is "AWSOME". 2 stories and firing ports on all side up and down stairs. I had a great time trying to get in and after I did, I had a hard time keeping it. The hills in front or berms i should say are cool to hide behind. The forts built in the woods are much smaller but work well for defending the objectives that were set for us to take. Staff was great, paint was great, they fed us lunch. I had a blast and my 2 sons did also. We will play this field again soon.
