Period of Field Use:
October 30th, 2010
More than 5 years
Other Fields in the Area:
Hurricane Paintball Park, Orange County Paintball. Both these fields are much more organized and ran more proffesionally than Hog Wild.
Directions to the Field:
South Babcock to Grant Road, head east on Grant Rd, About 1/8 of a mile on the left. Look for the sign.
Field is small but many wood bunkers, buildings. Too many of the buildings you could peak through cracks and saw many crack shooters. Trenches were kind of a neat feature. Would not be good for night play tho.
Air ball field was not blown up.
Referees were kind of rude and Only saw them hanging out in a 2 story watch tower. So making calls in the field would be impossible. Ref's ran one game type, elimination. We asked for capture the flag or something different and they declined.
15-30 minutes in between games was also lame. I think with more sturcture to the reffing staff this could improve.
Not the worst place I've played at and certainly not the best. Personally I would not recommend this park until I saw improvements in the reffing staff and structure of the games.
I drove to Fla to take my son to play paintball. The owner and all the workers made the trip worth it. We both loved the field and all the people working and the other players. I would STRONGLY advise people to go to this field. It is real easy to find and you will be in for a great day of paintball. There prices are also incredibly low.
All the other fields in the area are ok but hog wild has a awsome field and they take good care of it.
Directions to the Field:
Go down babcock to grant road and take ither a left or right depending on what way you are coming from and then it will be the first left off of grant & you will see the field
The field is open sat & sun 9am to 5pm but they will open during the weeks for partys of people. They are pretty leanent on there rules but sfaty is a biggy they dont want anyone to get hurt. prices are really good 15$ intree fee that inclueds air and c02 refils for the day and paint is 10$ a bag and 40 a case they use dxs paint. The staff are more then just workers they are like a big family everyone is just out there for the love of the game. refs are really good about calling people out for hits and doing paint checks. they usely order pizza from dominaos or on special events they sell cooked hog. The field is very well maintain & is well set up they have 2 fields a woods field/speedball field & the open field. They play plinty of diffrent games such as capture the flag attack and defend total elemanation viros and if YOU want termanator. they are having a 6 houre sanario game in december for a christmas game its the grinch vs santa
If you haven't been out there i highly recomend you vesit the field all other fields in a 30 mil radi cant compeet.
As we all know paintball isn't a clean sport. My family and I have been out to Hog wild several times and each time went home really colorful. What a hoot! I am not a port-a-potty kind a gal, however, when I did have to use it, it was clean. I thought it was great that Hog wild allowed us to bring our own paint-balls without an extra charge. Really reasonable prices to use the field, rent equipment and we weren't limited to time. Turn around time was long enough to catch your breathe and off you go again. They have safety rules like everyone else so your kids can't run wild. Great place to run all the energy out of your children not to mention a cool way to bond. Hog wild made up of mainly volunteer staff with really great attitudes and unbelievable devotion to the community, You'll see what I mean if you go out to play week after week or have a conversation with one of the staff on why they are there. What a great feeling of selfless devotion! We had my sons Birthday party/ cookout at hog wild and I'm not sure the kids wanted to go home. My son would go every week. I recommend you check out their site or call them for information. They are a knowledgeable staff and have a true love for the sport. Remember long sleeve shirt/ jacket so you can play and your change of clothes so you can get back into your car LOL. Have Fun!
If you are coming from I95 get off on the Malabar exit and turn east on Malabar. Then turn south on Babcock. Then after a little bit turn east on Grant. On the left hand side you will see a sign for the field.
I have only been to this field once as of now and all I can say is the field setup and staff are the best I have experienced. The only downside is there is no speedball field.
The owner of this field has been providing a place for paintballers in the area to play for a very long time.
When our group first got there we were aloud to walk to field to check everything out. The refs and players are all really friendly to the new people that come out. I will be going back often.
The only reason why I rated this field a 9 is because they don't have a speedball field.

My son and I have been playing at Hog Wild Paintball park for appoximately six months and have thoroughly enjoyed it. We find the staff to be very helpful. Being new to the game we not only walked the field to check it out ahead of time, but the staff explained all the rules and stategies so we didn't feel lost. To get my son more comfortable and confident, General Chester shadowed my son in a game and mentored him on what he should be doing. The players are aware of who is on the field and know not to take advantage of smaller players. They are very respectful yet competitive.
After quickly faling in love with the game, my son had his birthday party there. They provided fair pricing, training and a lot of fun. The great thing about it was he could invite anyone he wanted at the party as there was not only enough room, but it did not discriminate due to age. He had his friends his age, teenage cousins and adults as well.
This was the first time I have been to this field and I was impressed. It is a small field compared to some other's I have played in other states, but they have made the best use of the space they got. The prices are good. $15 for admission plus all day air. There paint prices are pretty good too. The ref's are good and the games they put on were ran well. Overall I was pleased with my play time there, and I will return again soon.
Hurricane Paintball Field- Kinda lame bunkers, classifying in a couple words would be, stupid skittles. But to make up for the lame field, the crew that works there are very friendly and supportive people.
Directions to the Field:
Grant Road (very small road) off of Babcock.
The truth is, I've never played at this field. I called on a day that is open for Hog Wild, and they responded, "Well we're open but we won't be there till a couple hours." It was 9:00 AM and it was past the opening time. I believe if they declare to be open at a certain time, regardless of the fact that it is a weekday, they should be there on time. On the good side, from the looks of it, it seemed like the bunkers were very creative and the jungle war theme seemed very interesting.
