Right off Rt 201. Easy to find comming from Waterville.
Safety: Safety briefing was given, referees were on the lookout for any issues that may have been problematic. Day went off without any issues.
Fields: Three fields available. One airball field, two constructed fields. Airball field seemed a little small, but still very fun. One of the fields was not used. The other constructed field was quite tight, but very fast paced.
Prices: Very good, played all day for around 65 dollars. (Entry, case of paint for the day, air.)
Rentals: I don't use them, but for a new player there are plenty of them, I also saw jerseys and other such amenities. One of the players who showed up had his marker go down and the owner (who is very friendly) loaned him one of his personal markers for use for the day without charge.
Food: The owner provided the players with home made lunch! It was excellent!
Pretty decent field, with more attendance I'm sure it will develop even further. Excellent place for beginners who are just starting to have a great time.
i also play at v-town paintball. both fields are great! it has pretty much been speedball at DO on saturdays and woodsball/speedball at v-town on sundays. I have had the chance to meet a lot of players at each field and have no complaints.

right of 201, cant miss it! (look for the army sign)
Well for starters safety is huge here as you can tell from a manditory speal before each game day. Mike (0wner) will cover basic rules to follow to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. barrell plugs are always on, masks always on inside netted area, so dont worry about them stray balls!
Secondly is the fields. 3 compact speedball fields that offer a varietly of game play. for example the wooded bunkers on a nice grassy surface, perfect for the pro sliding into bunkers. secondly is the air field, (gets most action). This field offers a variety of bunkers from tombstones, snakes, doritos and a really tough wheel at the 50 mark. Dont go there! haha The newest field satisfies the 1 v 1 or 2 v2 type of games. really compact and full of deadly angles sure to end the game in a hurry.
Another thing i will comment on is the people you deal with when u go to DO. Such nice people! The whole family seems like they are there to please you. I remember days when there wasnt enough players so mike made some calls and before you knew it he was out there playing along with his sons and a bunch of their friends. they just seem to always save the day!
Finallly, i will comment on prices. Very reasonable. 10 bux for 500 balls and the owner, mike, never buys junk balls. He spends a little more to ensure a good ball for the players. All day air for 10 bux......can u beat that? Pro shop offers more than you see at first glance. They sell jerseys, masks, body kits for guns, do-rags (did i spell that right?) anyway, ask and you shall recieve. Mike would prob order you something straight out of his suppliers. hes cool like that.
Rt 201 in vassleboro hard to miss, just look out for a big size opening on netting with bunkers. Hard to miss
The prices were really good actually cheaper than getting your paint and gas from walmart and playing. The fields are set up for 5v5 games. The owner was a nice guy, he even played a game or two with us. All the refs were nice to they performed their jobs quite well.
All in all a great place to play. I highly recommend it if you live in the area, it was about a hour drive for us.
I have been to many fields and I have been treated best by far at D.O. they peolpe are very welcoming and lend out tips, and help you with gear if needed
the first time i played here no one showed so the owner Mike got his family to play, i was useing a Tippman then and Mike saw that i was getting out shot so he let me use one of his guns, the prices are the best i seen around- paint- 40-50-60 a case hpa- 10 all day , cheaper to play here then to go to Dicks, Wallmart and get stuff to play
i have got most of my gear from Mike at non jacked up prices
they have two fields going at a time (there trying to grow grass on one at a time) one airball and a wood one
every one should go here best prices and nicest people

I've mostly played at fields in southern Maine, but DO is very competitive with them.
Directions to the Field:
Easy to find. Right on the edge of Route 201 (Left from the north, right from the south)
DO Paintball is a great, family run operation. The "shop" is very limited, but if you plan on going back, the owner is willing to order basically anything for you. The fields themselves are great. The plywood field is a nice size for 3 man, whereas it would be easy to play 5 or 7 man on the airball field. The family that runs it is very nice and all very personable people. They made me feel welcome immediately when I got there. I will definitely be returning. I give them a 9 only because they don't keep anything in stock really.
On highway 201 in Vassalboro, northbound- about three minutes past the vassalboro town line, on the left.
I played here with a small group, six of us in total. Given that it was a slow day, the field staff filled in and played with us. We ran a series of 3 on 3's and had a great time.
The fields themselves are set up to favor no more than 5 on 5's. They're standard rec-ball layout. The pricing at the field is standard on paint and air, and there is NO field fee. Thanks to an unbeatable shop-price, i was able to buy a cheap air tank, a revvy, and some paint, without going broke. I was very impressed with the competitive pricing on merchandise. The staff was exceptionally supportive and helpful, and thanks to not only them, but the way they ran their field, i'll definitely be going back soon.
I would recommend any players in the waterville/fairfield/winslow/benton, etc, areas go to DO over Kennebec valley, simply because they're on a more professional scale with better prices.

This was an excellent field, went as part of a big group and they really hooked us up witha sweet deal. The staff was friendly and awesome. The fields are nice, pretty sweet set up. Definitly recommend this field for anyone who wants to go out and play speed ball. It was a great time. The refs were cool and good about checking everyone, they are good on safety, and will let groups do what they want to pretty much.
There are few fields that are too close to Do, although the Flying Dutchman is some 60-70 miles north, and there is one pipes course in Bar Harbor at a funpark. Do Paintball is pure speedball, no woods or scenario courses, but the reffing was better and the paint costs were far more reasonable than any other Maine field I've played at so far. (And I've hit most of them)
Directions to the Field:
I suggest visiting their website for accurate directions, I was riding in the back of a van full of paintballers and therefore couldn't hear or see too much.
First of all, safety was fantastic here. Players were always under supervision of multiple refs, (something uncommon for Maine courses), strict barrel bag/plug rules were in action, and officials worked hard to make sure masks were ON before players stepped onto the field. Nets were completely enveloping all areas of play and I the field was relatively free of rocks and roots, and other things of the ankle breaking nature.
Only two fields were operating on the day we played, but both were accessible and fun to play on. It is a typical Maine spring, so there was a good bit of mud on one field, especially near the back bunkers, but any paintballer who can't play in a little bit of mud isn't a real player to begin with! We went on the field with up to 14 players at a time doing 7 on 7 elimination, and during these the smaller of the two fields became very cramped, but 3 on 3 on that field was awesome. The larger of the two fields could hold 7 on 7 matches with plenty of manuevering room, so you should size your group by numbers and play on the according field.
Hours of operation were very conveniant, we arrived early in the morning and played until 4 or 5 in the afternoon, and the field was still open and taking on more players when we left. Can't complain there!
Prices, rules, and refs were where this field really stood out. We brought a large group from a University, and therefore were ready to purchase a large amount of paint. The management hooked us up with a great deal on bulk ammo, and they weren't one of those fields that scalps you on C02 refills either. The refs were really great while we played, and really earned my respect. First of all, they posted up to 4 on the field for each game, and they were really quick to make calls, do multiple paintchecks, and dive into situations where they sometimes took hits in order to do their jobs. They made for a very fair and safe day, kudos guys. The rules were set up in mind to be fair to new players, i.e no bunkering or the like when we got there, but the management made it clear that as long as the group agreed on changes then we could alter bunkering rules once players became acclamated. In closing, the facilities were good, and I'm pretty sure you can get hot dogs and soda there, (I was too busy blasting away to really notice) and the entire staff was very proffesional. This is a great field to play on, especialy if you're a speedball aficionado.

look on the site
It is a ok field is has 3 different fields you can play on..2 of them are plywood bunkers one is hay. Its all mud and one field has grass. Pretty cheap and great service i reccomend everyone to go to it.This field is maintained nice decent plays. The saftey is enforced well. It goes from 9 till dark which is plenty of time to play. It will be open all winter. They give free drinks like soda and water. The prices are really cheap. The staff is nice and even plays when not enough people are there. The rules are very fair and they have a close eye on cheaters! I give this field a thumbs up.
