Although the paint and general admission is pretty expensive, playing at Skirmish USA is something everybody will remember. The woods ball and structure fields here are out of this world. However there could be a lot more to the speedball courses. The judges are awesome. They'll be happy to replace orings and barrel plugs. If your gun breaks down and they cant fix it they'll take you to the air tech asap. The camp area is a nice place with toliets, stores, and a pretty good grill serving hot burgers and hot dogs (they probably have something for you vegans). The organization of this place is outstanding. They set you up with a group and have gun stands, air stand and more. This is the best place within the area. If the price worries you go on the discount days (lots of noobs though). Go to Skirmish.
Ive been going to skirmish once very few months for about a year. First of all, i went with small groups and they got us playing pretty quickly. The judges were always friendly, giving out o-rings and whatnot. The paint is $110 a case! And its not even decent. It is obviously very old and is dimpled to the point of no use. Their scenario games are pretty good. They aren't that well organized, but if everyone adheres to the rules, it turns out ok. They are also very laid back. Some judges dont even care if you smuggle in your own paint. In conclusion, i had fun. Its a good place to go, nice people with lots of variety, but it is way to expensive for a teenager to go every weekend. That is why I give it a 3. 110 for a case of paint? Ridiculous.
